The Tinkers Cabin is nestled in the heart of Parke County, known for its covered bridges and Turkey Run State Park. It features a lakefront view and direct access to Raccoon Lake, complete with a 30-foot seawall. We love swimming and boating in the summer, enjoying fall colors, and exploring the lakebed in the winter when the water is drained for capacity. In the evenings, you can gather around an outdoor bonfire or stream your favorite movies with free Wi-Fi and smart TV in this cozy cabin.

This large (1,200 sq ft) cabin has an open loft type sleeping arrangement that can sleep 8-10 guests. It offers a Full kitchen and 1.5 baths. Retreat and renew in this charming one-room cabin right by Big Walnut Creek and Baker's Camp Covered Bridge. Fish, kayak, or swim; hike or birdwatch in a nearby preserve; read, write, find inspiration. With sweet-smelling poplar walls, the cabin offers a full bed by a picture window, small TV, writer's desk/library, AC, fans, baseboard heat, kitchenette, toilet, sink, outdoor shower (before first frost), small porch, grill, and a fire pit. (No wifi in cabin!) Simple and beautiful.

Tranquility is one of nine Brown County cabins by Antler Log Cabins. This private cabin is situated in a beautiful secluded clearing surrounded by woods. Inside the cabin you'll notice handmade and curated items thoughtfully placed throughout the cabin. The front porch features a swing and chairs to enjoy the great view of the clearing and the woods for watching wildlife. A rowboat and fishing nearby at Lake Solitude (our 4 acre lake) is also included during your stay.
