Nestled along the Mississinewa River near James Dean's hometown, Taylor Univ and Indiana Wesleyan Univ, we were originally named Harrisburg, until the natural gas boom of the 1800s. The town was renamed Gas City boasting to grow to a pop of 50 thous, but sadly the gas wells dried up. Visit the Gas City museum at 210 South A St opened 1-4 sat&sun, relax at Beaner Linn Park 701 S Broadway or visit one of our shops. The living room has electric fireplace, (ambiance only) to unwind. Kitchen is fully equipped with dining room adjacent. 2 bedrooms have full-size beds and master features queen-sized bed. Birky's Bunkhouse

Birky's Bunkhouse is 1/4 of a pole barn that has been converted into a very unique space with 2 sleeping lofts that allow you the option of stairs or ladder...Ground floor bedroom with queen bed and canopy. Sleeping loft above kitchen you are unable to stand and has a ladder for access. The other loft has stairs able to stand partially erect. So be prepared to dust off your boots and put up your feet and relax in this comfy quarter's we call Birky's Bunkouse...in honor of former owner

30+day DISCOUNT!! This clean, spacious, modern open floor plan has a cozy living space perfect for 1-2 guests. I often host travel workers seeking a nice place to call home after a long days work. The calendar is blocked for potential guests needing longterm. I host shorter stays between the long ones… often parents visiting their student at Taylor or IWU. If my calendar doesn’t “look” available but you need longterm, then book the first 30 days to secure it, then biweekly after that!

This 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom home is on a dead-end road off of Indiana state road 9 and is perfect for families, featuring Wi-Fi, two TVs, a full kitchen, and a washer/dryer. The fenced backyard offers a safe space for kids and pets, complete with a firepit and grill for outdoor enjoyment. A garage provides easy parking, and the home uses treated well water with a softener. This cozy getaway has all you need for a memorable stay.
