Esmeralda und Arturo waren sehr herzlich und haben uns mit offenen Armen empfangen :) Arturo spricht perfekt Englisch und hat uns einen super Trip zur La Commandancia organisiert! Sehr empfehlenswert! Die Tour war mit einem alten Dodge, einfach klasse! Die Unterkunft ist sauber, das Frühstück lecker und reichlich. Bayamo ist eine kleine schöne und ruhige Stadt, aber dennoch sehr interessant! Danke für die schöne Zeit! Hoffe, wir sehen uns irgendwann mal wieder... Viele Grüße, Christian & Hanna

Excellent communication beforehand. Host answered every question quickly and clearly. Casa is less than ten minutes walk from thé center of Bayamo . All exactly as pictured. Filling, fresh breakfast. Roof terrace with rocking chairs was great to get some breeze in the evening. Bayamo travel agency very useful if you want to do trips to Santo Domingo, they really went above and beyond. Meson du Chichipapa is a great eating option.

Der Ort ist eigentlich keine typische Casa particular, sondern ein richtiges Öko-Ressort. Man wohnt in einem eigenen Bungalow auf dem Grundstück der Gastgeberfamilie, von denen es mehrere gibt. Die Ausstattung ist schlicht, aber funktional. Die Klimaanlage ist etwas Quatsch, weil der Raum weitgehend offen ist (sicher geschützt durch Fliegengitter), sodass man die gesamte Sierra Maestra kühlen müsste, wenn man sie anwirft, was man aber auch gar nicht muss, denn in der Höhenlage war selbst bei uns im heißen Sommer die Nachttemperatur völlig OK. Deckenventilatoren sorgen zudem für ein erfrischendes Lüftchen. Alles bestens also. Die Lage ist spektakulär. Mitten in der Sierra Maestra, direkt am Eingang zum Nationalpark, auf der anderen Seite des Flusses. Näher dran an der Natur geht nicht. Ein kleiner Weg führt von der Casa zu einem Ferienlager und anschließend zu einigen kleinen Häuschen mit sehr vielen Haustieren, sodass man, wenn man mag, bei einem kleinen Spaziergang eine große Dosis ländliches Cuba genießen kann. In der Casa selbst hat man dagegen das Gefühl von Natur im Wald. Besonders schön ist das zur Casa gehörende Restaurant, das auch als Wohnzimmer dient. Hier sitzt man draußen, die Bar ist nachts für die Gäste geöffnet, es gibt Bier und Cocktails, und natürlich Frühstück und Abendessen, beides zu sehr fairen Preisen in sehr guter Qualität (allerdings ohne Auswahl - es gibt halt ein Gericht, am ersten Abend war es bei uns wunderbares Spanferkel, am zweiten saftiges Huhn). Die freundlichen Mitarbeiter organisieren alle gewünschten Ausflüge und arrangieren das auch mit dem Nationalpark-Personal (ohne Führer darf man nichts machen), was sehr praktisch ist. Die obligatorische Tour zur Comandancia La Plata, wo Castro sich vor der Revolution verschanzt hat, ist so problemlos zu arrangieren, auch Pferdeausritte. Wer mit dem Auto kommt: Man kann auf der anderen Flussseite problemlos und sicher parken, die freundlichen Helfer schleppen einem die Koffer über den Fluss. Extrem empfehlenswert!

smještaj kod Lorenza je stvarno vrhunski! čisto i uredno, ljubazan domaćin i ugodan u svemu. uz TV ,klimu, kupaonu sa toaletima ne možeš više očekivati. Stvarno vrhunski smještaj.Kad nije bilo elektrike (nije krivnja domaćina!) Lorenzo donio mobilni strujni akumulator🙂. Doručak koji je pripremao za mene po narudžbi također odličan.Ja prezadovoljan, preporučam svima 👌

Po dobu pobytu, jsem byl nadmíru spokojen. Doporučení výletů. Vždy skvělá snídaně. Pokud se vrátím do Bayama jinam se neubytuji. Doporučuji. Klidné místo s balkónem. Skvělé umístění.

Notre séjour chez Yanisel fut notre plus grande surprise et coup de foudre! Elle est d'une tendresse et d'une gentillesse incomparable ! Rien que pour elle et son mari Bayamo vaut le détour ! Elle sera toujours là pour vous aider, vous orienter. Bayamo est un point idéal pour visiter la Sierra Maestra, n'hésitez pas a demander a Yanisel qui s'occupera de ça pour vous. L'endroit est bien placé, pas trop loin du terminal et proche du centre. L'habitation est très soigné, propres et chaleureux. La petit terrasse est idéal pour passer un peu de temps autour d'un verre et se reposer. Encore une fois, Yanisel a été d'une gentillesse sans égale, sincèrement elle est adorable et nous a rendu service sans retour demandé, nous recommandons ce lieu sans hésiter ! Excelente alojamiento, es muy grande y cómoda la habitación. El servicio es muy bueno, desayunamos y cenamos una noche y la comida fue riquísima! No recuerdo el nombre de la señora, pero fue muy amable y siempre nos ayudó en todo. Volveríamos sin duda a alojarnos

Óscar y su mujer fueron encantadores con nosotros. Tuvimos un genial recibimiento con un jugo natural y las mejores recomendaciones. ¡Nos encantó el restaurante que nos recomendaron! A destacar también los desayunos que ofrecen a los que no les faltan de nada. Fue un placer alojarnos con ellos y los recomendaría sin ninguna duda.

Gabriel and his wife were friendly all the time! During our stay, they tried their best to make it comfortable for us. Gabriel gave us a lot advices about those trips you can explore the nature around Bayamo. Those were really useful. The Casa is in the Center of Bayamo so everything is very close with couple minutes walk. During the day there could be couple cars driving by but in the evening it‘s really quiet and I did have good sleep which is soooo important during a long travel. To the viazul bus station you just take a Cubano „taxi“ with 5 CUC, it‘s very convenient. The two restaurants we tried, recommended by Gabriel, were really good. I totally recommend here to all the guests.
