We had a terrific, peaceful and relaxing time at Whale of a View! The house was comfortable, clean and had a wonderful view of the water and we appreciated all the different sitting options. Screened porch, beautiful deck, picnic table and around an outdoor fire pit. Beds and furniture were comfortable, kitchen clean and had all the utensils/appliances that we needed. Campobello Island has a lot of different places to explore, hike, and soak in the beauty.

This was our first time visiting Grand Manan, and after our stay at Alex's place, it certainly won't be our last!! right from booking, Alex was very responsive, with local recommendations, to even calling to see about Kayaking for us. Our stay was during the off season in Grand Manan and the weather for 2 of the 3 days was less then ideal, but we still managed to get around and visit some local spots. This airbnb is located maybe 5/10 mins from the Ferry, making it very convenient, close to a convenient store as well as their local Independent grocery store. There are a few games provided as well as binoculars !( witch came in handy when we seen whales in the bay out back !! ), The hot tub was immaculate and was a great way to keep the serenity after a peaceful day of exploring. We will most definitely be back, especially once the hustle and bustle of touriat season comes around ! if your looking for a place to stay, we definitely recommend Alex's place ! Our stay at this AirBnB during Eastport’s Pirate Festival was more than we could have expected! The location was perfect, putting us right in the middle of the festivities, yet offering a peaceful retreat when we needed it. The space was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was incredibly accommodating, and the local recommendations truly made our experience special. We couldn’t have asked for a better home base for such a fun-filled weekend. We’ll definitely be back!

The cutest little nest ever. Such a sweet and cozy place. Mowry beach is beautiful and just down the street. Came for a quiet, relaxing working vacation and the city was indeed quiet. (Aside from the road construction that was going on directly next to and in front of us)I expected most things to be closed. I didn’t expect it would be quite so hard to find something open- all info online about local establishments was incorrect. We had to drive from place to place to see that everything was closed. In the end, the grocery store is walkable and the kitchen is well equipped. Everywhere I walked, there was a smile and a wave to be had, a photo opportunity to find, and the small town slow pace that we were hoping for. Thoughtful touches were everywhere at “ the nest”- wouldn’t hesitate to spend time there again❤️

We absolutely loved Turning Tides Cottage. We were 3 adults traveling: me, my husband, and my 86 year old mother. The cottage had everything we needed and plenty of space for us. The location was very quiet with lots of privacy. We highly recommend Alie’s cottages and will come back when we return to Grand Manan!

We enjoyed a brief (3 night) stay in early May at Sunrise Seaside Cottage. The cottage was clean, comfortable (especially the king bed) and coastal cute. The location is quite spectacular, especially for bird lovers (we saw as many as 19 bald eagles at one time, several heron, many types of waterfowl and, of course, loads of gulls! If you love nature, there is no end to the options in Lubec. We would gladly return!

Laura’s place was great! Everything you need and close to downtown.

We loved our stay here! It is a great location with nice views of the Bay of Fundy. The cottage was very comfortable for the two of us and would be comfortable for additional guests. It was easy to communicate with Treena. The kitchen was very well equipped which was important to us since we prepare almost all of our meals while traveling. We would stay here again.
