Situated on the border of Rocky Mountain National Park, the area provides opportunities to observe wild life, ice fish, hike/bike, snowmobile, cross country ski, sled and snowshoe. You'll also be able to enjoy all the amenities of the town like live theater, parks, lakes and shopping. No pets, please.

Welcome to Moose Mansion, our peaceful A-Frame escape sitting just off the North Fork of the Colorado River. We're just minutes from the historic downtown Grand Lake, the East entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, hunting, fishing, world-class snowmobiling, sailing, SO MANY MOOSE, and much more. We renovated the cabin to bring all the comforts of home to our "home away from home" in the mountains. Our family has made many memories here, and we're hopeful you'll be able to do the same.

Entire brand new, modern & bright cabin. We lost the cabin in 2020 in one of the largest wildfires in Colorado history, and just finished rebuilding. What we lost from the seclusion of trees, we gained in 360 degree views of Kawuneeche Valley & Rocky Mountain National Park. Nature has rebounded quickly & you will see abundant wildlife grazing the meadow, with moose and elk visiting daily. You can snowmobile/ATV from cabin to trails in less than 10 min. 4WD/AWD HIGHLY RECOMMENDED in Winter.

Near the center of Grand Lake, steps from the historic wooden boardwalks of Grand Ave & just a couple blocks from the largest natural lake in Colorado, our 6 small cabins have welcomed adventurous travelers since the 1930's. Today, Lupine Village provides exceptional hospitality at the western gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park, with comfortable, sparkling clean cabins that are thoughtfully updated with modern amenities & extras that make each cabin feel like a home away from home.

Cozy up this winter at the Fox Den. A private romantic suite awaits you. Complete with a separate entrance to your suite, kitchenette, living room area, gym, bedroom, bathroom and your own private patio and fire pit. It’s a mile from the charming town of Grand Lake, a 45minute drive to WP ski area and there are a number of cross country and snow shoe trails nearby. Come, stay a while, I'd love to host you. It is a stand alone, family owned cabin built in 1903, in the most quiet part of town. Please note! We cannot accommodate for RVs, Boat or Snow Mobile Trailers. 4 Wheel Drive is recommended in winter. Welcome & Enjoy your stay!

This charming A frame is so cozy! The living room, dining space and kitchen greet you right as you walk in. The house has a wonderful layout for families, with bathrooms on the main level and the walk out basement, and two living areas. There are large decks off the front and back of the house, adirondacks and picnic table allow taking in the gorgeous view and listening to the seasonal creek very comfortable. Two parking spaces and snowmobiles can be parked right off the road.
