Brenna was a terrific host and made sure we were well taken care of. The RV was clean and cozy, a perfect refuge after a week on an expedition. The proximity of The Clubhouse and the awesome walkable beach nearby meant that we didn’t have to wander far to find what we were after. I’d definitely look for this one when I come to Sandspit again.

Jeanette and Tim were very friendly, informative and helpful, and they really encouraged us to make ourselves at home in the unit and around their property. The unit had everything we needed and was very clean and cozy. Easy check out.

Words cannot do justice to this place. Beautiful home and even more beautiful surroundings. A true gem, would definitely recommend!!!!

Lovely peaceful incredibly clean house with top notch linens, towels, pots, dishes, small appliances. condiments, spices and basic staples. Decor was very interesting and made us feel right at home. The little freezer was already plugged in and stocked. with ice. The fresh sourdough bread and farm fresh eggs just topped it all off!! Thanks for all the thoughtful extras.

Shirley was super friendly and VERY helpful! Our trip to Haida Gwaii was magical, and Shirley’s hosting and the cozy cabin was a big part of that. Super clean cabin, plenty of amenities. Highly recommend!

Great place to stay in Masset. Highly recommended. Central, clean and a great base for work or play on Haida Gwaii.

We loved our stay! It was very cozy and quiet - perfect for our needs. It was lovely to be able to walk to the beach. The cottage was well equipped and we enjoyed the warm fire after full days out in nature. We would definitely book again!

We stayed here from April 23-May 2 2025, while visiting Haida Gwaii for some hiking and cultural learning. I’d recommend this place for the following reasons: 1) LOCATION: ideally located mid way in the island in a lovely town with excellent grocery stores, restaurants etc. The property is also lovely and peaceful facing the bay 2) SIZE: the place has large indoor and outdoor spaces. The bedrooms and porch spaces are much larger than appears in the photos 3) MANAGEMENT: the place was very clean and exceptionally well stocked for longer stays with lots of towels, bedding, kitchenware, great HG books, games, lots of hooks, all beautiful new appliances including a big washer and dryer and bathtub. I agree with other comments about the living room being a bit awkward for watching TV or general hanging out, but if you’re in a place like HG you’ll be outside most of the time anyways so no biggie. A perfect little cabin in a fairytale forest with just a short walk down the property to the beautiful north beach! Lots of chopped wood was provided for the wood burning stove and there was drinking water a plenty. Everything that we needed to cook our meals was present in the kitchen. Just make sure you bring lots of ice for your coolers and you can easily stock up on more in Masset. The shared garden shower had on demand hot water and was just a few steps from the cabin. The bed was comfy and sheets and towels were clean! We couldn’t have asked for more! Overall we had a very serene and lovely stay! Thank you Meredith!
