The local area is also an amazing place to watch wildlife with red squirrels, red deer, pine martens, osprey and dolphins a common sight. One well-behaved dog is welcome.

The Castle Byre

The 'Byre' is a luxury self catering cottage within a former barn at historic Parkhead Farm. It sits just 200m from the ruins of Auchindoun Castle and has unsurpassed views to the castle on the hill. Being of contemporary open plan design, it retains the traditional look of the original barn interior with large exposed roof trusses and natural stonework. Underfloor heating provides discrete background warmth and there is a modern wood burning stove to give an enhanced level of cosiness.

Connected to the old cruck barn this is a compact, cosy, self contained bedroom. It’s set on one side of the courtyard with separate key access so you can come and go at will. If you love the outdoors, we think you will love it here. We have spectacular views of the Cairngorms, with excellent walks from the door. Rustic, with loads of character, the room has a comfy king size bed and en suite bathroom with shower. If you need mod cons or lots of space this may not be the place for you!

Isla's Cottage, a traditional stone built home, set in the heart of Dufftown, the whisky capital of Scotland. A perfect base for exploring all the hidden gems that the Speyside area has to offer. Discover the whisky trail, go fishing, golf, kayaking, mountain biking or try one of the many beautiful local walks. Isla's Cottage is superbly located in the centre of Dufftown and within a five minute walk of all amenities, including bars, Restaurants, shops, cafes and the local bus service.

The Cabin

The Cabin is a self catering one room chalet that contains 2 single beds, table, chairs, armchairs and a kitchen. An enclosed bathroom with shower, toilet and sink is included. Water is provided by the Cromdale hills via filtration system. The Cabin is fully insulated and heated for a cosy environment. Entertainment consists of TV, video & bluetooth boom bar speaker. Placement of The Cabin is close to the back of the house which provides privacy for guests. WiFi is available.

Beautiful stone cottage, with open views over the hills. very warm and cosy with excellent heating and a coal fire. a real home from home, right in the heart of Speyside distilleries and the whisky trail. Close to the village of Aberlour and all amenities attached I have an outdoor seating area At the front for morning sun and my back garden is perfect for sunset and to cook from my charcoal barbecue available for use close to the kitchen at the back doorstep

Nochty Studio |Strathdon |Cairngorms National Park

A place to get away, relax and enjoy the natural surroundings! Nochty Studio is a eco cabin located on the edge of the small village of Bellabeg in the Cairngorm National Park, in close proximity to Ballater, Braemar, Royal Deeside and on the edge of Moray. The Studio is on the east side of Glen Nochty enjoying open views of the Nochty River and the Doune of Invernochty. The village itself is a 5 minute walk away, with a local shop.
