Escape to the stunning Galloway hills and enjoy a relaxing break on the outskirts of the rural town of Newton Stewart, with countless opportunities to explore this unspoiled area of natural beauty. This cosy hideaway is situated in our brand new Scandi style home which was only finished in June 2016.
The Gardeners Cottage is set within the walled gardens of Corvisel House, built by Rear Admiral John McKerlie in 1829. We have restored the cottage in a vintage, quirky style with Donegal & Harris tweed soft furnishings & floral accents to reflect the glorious garden outside! It's located at the edge of Newton Stewart so very handy for evening strolls to the eateries in town. You can take walks in our small forest from the courtyard & hang out in the walled garden - green fingers are welcomed!!
A Digital Detox will be much needed after lock down!!! Escape to a quiet rural location in SW Scotland, and stay off-grid in our beautiful shepherd's hut. Re-connect with nature; fresh air, uninterrupted views, wild swimming, and dark skies. A continental breakfast basket is available by prior arrangement.
