Located 23 miles away from New River Gorge National Park and close to many other state parks and outdoor recreational activities. Central to shopping, restaurants, and night life.

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. We are just 20 minutes from winter place, 30 minutes from the new river gorge and four minutes from Raleigh General hospital. Ideal place for skiers, rafters, or travel nurses. Inside has been newly renovated and includes 2br with queen beds, 1 full bath with onsite laundry and off street parking (until weather permits for driveway to be poured.) This is the sister property to Wild and Wonderful Westwood.

Great home in a great neighborhood close to Winterplace Ski Resort, Glade Springs Resort, Pipestem State Park to name a few local attractions. Also a short drive to White Water Rafting & Hatfield Mcoy Trails 2 parking spaces 2 full size couches 2 bunk beds & king available . WiFi & SmartTV. All linens & cookware provided, including coffee pot, coffee for your use and a few quick breakfast items. Back yard has a private sitting area with fire pit and small grill. Fire logs provided.

The ideal location if you're looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of it all yet still want to explore the beauty and adventures of our town/state. Very private, with the entire cabin and property to yourself. Enjoy relaxing on the decks or soaking in the hot tub while listening to the peaceful sounds of nature.

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape at Molly Moocher, a tiny house nestled among boulders in Wild and Wonderful West Virginia. 7 minutes from the Gauley River and Summersville lake. 19 minutes to the New River National Park. Located on 100 private acres with hiking trails. Relax in the hot tub or at the boulder-top fire pit. My wife and I live locally. Come enjoy quiet seclusion on a 210 acre farm located 5 miles from Winterplace ski resort and Weathered Grounds Brewery and only 3 miles off the Ghent exit! Self check-in on a private half mile long road. Feed the fish with two ponds full of blue gill, coy, bass and catfish. Hike or mountain bike on miles of trails throughout the property! Then come drink hot chocolate next to the fireplace, or have a glass of wine while watching the sunset on the covered porch!

Lucky Penny Camper with Mountain View By New River

Cozy getaway tucked into the coal mining "holler" of Cunard/Brooklyn, the Lucky Penny is just up the road from the Cunard New River Access as well as walking distance to several National Park trails. Get away from the city, experience a real WV neighborhood, have a campfire, enjoy the lovely mountain view and starry sky, and recharge. The heat pump keeps it cozy even in zero degree temps! (Bring some cozy socks though. =)

Cute 1-BR stone cottage close to NRG

When visiting the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve, stay at this quaint stone cottage less than a mile off of Route 19 in downtown Oak Hill, WV. Things to Note: This little cottage has skylights upstairs, so light floods into this space from sunrise to sundown. Also, the mattress is firm. Finally, the hot water is provided via a tankless hot water heater, which has been known to cause water temperature variability.

We are 13 minutes to I-77 or I-64, 20 minutes to the Grandview section of the New River Gorge National Park, and 30 minutes to Fayetteville, one of WV's coolest small towns.

Our fun sized Cabin #5 is 220 sf with a Queen bed, a full size futon mattress in the loft, a roll away bed, and the sofa makes a bed. We also have a living room, kitchen and bathroom with shower. The Cabin is fully furnished with lots of extras for you to enjoy inside and out. Open seasonally for rental April through October.
