The primary bathroom has two vanities, a soaking tub and separate shower. Two spare bedrooms are each equipped with a queen bed. The guest bathroom has a bathtub and shower combo. The home has a fully stocked kitchen, WiFi, washing machine and dryer. The outdoor patio includes seating for four with an outdoor smart tv.

The Colonel’s Inn

Built in 1929, this old cozy country home was built with a country store. In the 50’s they were joined. A big room was added to the store portion, and is now a very unique meeting hall that features live music on occasion. Not part of the inn rental, but this space can be rented as well. (Pricing varies for these spaces) Gorgeous back porch with lots of plants. 60 miles to New Orleans, 15 miles to Baton Rouge. 2 miles to 1-10. Walmart 5 miles. Convenience store 500 feet.

The Yellow Cottage on the River (w/ Dock Access!)

Our quaint yellow cottage sits on a quiet street where you have plenty of space to hear the cicadas and breathe in the Louisiana air. We're situated directly on the Amite River and this cottage is perfect for anyone who loves to fish! We provide a place to dock your boat, and can even recommend the best routes along the river that we often take ourselves. Please note that we do not allow pets at the cottage so get your fur babies a sitter and come on down.
