Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make your trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, its Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". From the doorstep, you can join scenic trails and connect to the Southern Upland Way. Enjoy tennis, fishing, and easy access to Glentress Mountain Biking Centre, or take a short train ride into Edinburgh for a day in the city.

The Cosy Flat in Galashiels

The Cosy Flat offers a delightful blend of modern amenities and homely touches, ensuring a memorable stay in the Scottish Borders. Accessibility Information: The flat is a two-level maisonette. Entry to the property involves a set of stairs, and there are internal stairs connecting the two levels. The toilet and bathroom are located on the first level, while the bedroom is on the upper level. While many guests find the layout comfortable, it may not be ideal for those with limited mobility.

Stables Cottage, Melrose

Located in a stunning South facing two acre private garden setting within easy walking distance of the picturesque town of Melrose with its historic Abbey and range of restaurants. The cottage is not overlooked, has private parking, a BBQ and an outdoor seating area. Stables cottage is furnished and equipped to a very high standard, offering guests every modern comfort. Pets are welcome by arrangement. The cottage is less than a mile from Tweedbank station with direct trains to Edinburgh.

The Nest is a charming small cottage in the heart of the picturesque town of Melrose. The town is home to the Melrose Rugby Sevens & the Borders Book Festival & boasts many restaurants, cafes & independent shops. St. Cuthbert’s Way, Melrose Abbey & the Eildon Hills are a short walk away. The open plan lounge/kitchen is well-equipped while the ensuite open plan bedroom is cosy with a bright bathroom with bath/shower. There is also a small private direct access courtyard garden at the rear.

Caravan at The Keep

This is a large 35x 12 foot static caravan , situated on its own hillside site on the outskirts of Gattonside looking across to the town of Melrose and the Eildon hills . It has been rented out in the summer for about 17 years and enjoys return visitors . It’s a vintage 90’s caravan but comes fully equipped and is clean and comfortable. Linen provided . It you are looking to relax and get away from it all , this is for you . Kitchen updated this year and bedrooms painted ( 2026)

Peebles is 10 minutes walk away, with a host of shops and restaurants, as well as a museum and award winning chocolatier.

Ord’s Loft, situated in White Horse Close, is one of the most desirable and unique properties in Edinburgh’s old town. Positioned on the top floor of what was once the White Horse Coaching Inn, built by Laurence Ord in 1624, the loft is entered by the iconic steps seen in so many photos of Edinburgh.
