The Protea Room has direct access to the Fynbos gardens, sunset viewing deck and firepit boma, each with their own iconic vistas. The apartment is accessed via one flight of stairs.

Built in 1903 Betty’s oozes old fashioned elegance and glamour of a bygone era. We have lovingly furnished Bettys with our own personal antiques and treasures. We the owners live on the premises so it really is a home from home. We have amazing views of the Indian Ocean and the Outeniqua Mountains from our huge covered Stoep/ Terrace, which is where you can feast on our delicious breakfasts, and traditional afternoon Teas. The large pool area and gardens are perfect for relaxing in.

Our Economy Triple Room can accommodate 3 guests and contains a double bed, a single bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower and toilet. The kitchenette contains a fridge and kettle. Plus all the cutlery and plates you might need. If there is anything extra we can provide to make your stay more comfortable, please let us know. We would be happy to help.
