Everything was great! Although we ended up with a rainy girls weekend we were able to cook all our meals together, jump in the lake a few times when the sun came out, and enjoy coffee on the covered deck with a beautiful view. We didn’t need any assistance while there but the host gave several ways to contact and we felt secure.

We had a very great experience with our hosts! They are so nice and welcoming! Also thank you to your son for all the help and fast responses! We had a wonderful time! We will be back! Thank you Harry and Tami

I have so many positive things to say about this home. Barbara is a fantastic host, her son is helpful and friendly. The home, pond, gazebo and acreage are amazing. Lots of trails just behind the cabin, connecting to state forest trails. This is our second time staying at Barbs place and will totally return in the future.

This place was amazing! My three boys, husband, and dog had such a great peaceful time. There were plenty of things to do in the cabin alone! They have everything fully stocked, including tons of family games, VHS movies to take you back in time, and much more. We loved how peaceful everything was! My kids loved hunting for crawfish, swimming, and riding in the kayaks. It rained almost the entire time until the last night, but honestly, that made it even better and more peaceful. The host was very responsive when we had a little issue with our pup and was extremely helpful and I appreciated that so much. The only thing I would prepare people for is that of course being that secluded/ far out is it well water, which does have a “scent” to it. Other than that everything was absolutely perfect!! Thanks so much for letting us use your home. We would 10000000% recommend.

Very nice accommodations in a quiet setting right on the river. The home is quite new and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable 4 night visit. It felt just like home, looking forward to our next stay.

One of the best places to stay in downtown. Harley was flexible with us and his apartment is even better than in the pictures & description. Without any doubt this is ***** apartment.

Clean and well organized

It's a beautiful and quiet location just minutes from the shops and restaurants in Sister Bay. As noted in the listing, the hostess lives on site and was there during our stay. Other than seeing her car from time to time, we would not have known if she was home or not. The internet worked great and we were easily able to log into our Netflix account to relax during the evening to watch our favorite shows. This was the perfect place for a long weekend away for me and my husband.

this has that door county feel any inside. Great for friends and small families. The kitchen has everything if you're cooking at home on vacation.

Great place to stay, bar next door has spectacular live music although you can hear it from the Airbnb. Great location, beautiful walking near the stream, clean home and perfectly simple.

This rental did not disappoint. It is even cuter in person! Everything was very clean and comfortable. The host was welcoming and very responsive. We loved the convenience of the coffee shop and bar across the street. We are very likely to stay here again in the future.

I definitely really enjoyed my time at the river retreat, Renée had given me a warning telling me that the road was going to be a little rough getting to it. She definitely was not wrong at all was very muddy. Almost got stuck, but once we finally got to the cabin, it was absolutely fantastic. With a beautiful wide river, tons of wildlife and absolute peace. Once we got inside of the cabin, it was super nice and laid out. It was very nice of her to even leave us a card and some chocolates. I would definitely return again.

We had a wonderful stay here! The place was cozy, clean and had everything we needed. Being so close to Lake Michigan was amazing. This cabin is perfect for morning walks and sunset views. We absolutely enjoyed Newport State Park! It is beautiful, quiet and has lots of great trails. And we liked Sister Bay – cute small town with some good restaurants. Would definitely come back! Great couple days of snowmobiling! Cabin was close to trails and rentals. So nice to come in with fireplace to warm us. Kitchen and bathroom were well equipped. Really enjoyed the whole experience!!

This cabin was in the perfect location that we had for a friends wedding. If you are feeling up to it, safely go down the hill by the river, it is ABSOLUTELY gorgeous and so worth it!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Utensils in the kitchen, board games to play as well as comfortable beds to sleep in. The hot tub was an absolute must, and it didn’t disappoint! Kimberly was quick to respond to any questions, and when the weather was too dangerous to travel in on our morning of check out, she allowed us to stay another night to make sure we could travel safe. Highly recommend! We will be returning!

We were in Manistique for a sad occasion and it was so nice to be in Angela’s place during our time. We felt well cared for and comfy during a time of grieving. Thank you so much for the beautiful stay! We’ll definitely be back.

A bit tricky to find the driveway due to the recent snow, but Kurt's directions were spot on and extremely helpful! The cabin was absolutely beautiful! Our trip ended up very memorable, with some great snowmobile riding for 5 of us, local skiing for 2, and a cozy craft day at the cabin for 1-something for everyone! And the views were beautiful and serene. Thanks for a great stay!
