The 1780 Cabin on Main

A charming cabin built circa 1780 situated right on Main Street, just steps from Pubs and Restaurants and easy walking distance to historic Mercersburg Academy. There is a separate sleeping area upstairs with a queen-size memory foam bed. The lower level features a foldout couch and air mattress for additional guests, as well as a 55" TV and a wet bar and bathroom. Visitors have universally enjoyed the cabin's cozy feel. While there is no yard available, the town is great for walking dogs.

Take it easy at this tranquil getaway in a small town nestled in the valley of the Appalachian mountains. Ten minutes from turnpike Exit 180 - Fort Littleton/McConnellsburg. Or a small hop off Route 30. This little haven is close to 2 State Parks. Meadow Grounds is wonderful for fishing and has a great tail to hike to Jarret Falls. Cowens Gap is a smaller lake, but has rental boats, fishing, a swimming beach, and 1 easy, 6 moderate & 5 hard trails to hike. Trails are on the All Trails app.

This beautiful country setting is the perfect space to relax. Guests can use the inground pool Memorial Day through Sept. Located a 3/4 mile back a gravel driveway, the farm is surrounded by beautiful scenery and woodland with lots of songbirds and wildlife coming right up to the yard. The home sleeps 10 guests, has 2 full baths, a fully equipped kitchen, central heating and air, and numerous outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy nature and the property. There is no TV but there is WIFI throughout.

Perhaps just sit on one of the front porch rockers or by the fire pit in the evening. We do not allow pets at this property.

There is a total of 10 beds plus a child size mattress in one room & a sofa bed in the basement. To maximize socializing & memory-making, the living room, dining room, & kitchen all flow into one large room.
