Chevroux ist ein beliebter Erholungsort im Kanton Waadt im französischsprachigen Teil der Schweiz mit einem Campingplatz und rund 100 Wochenend- und Ferienhäuschen in Seenähe. Es verfügt über einen Sportbootshafen mit über 1000 Liegeplätzen. Die Wohnung im Erdgeschoss eines Ferienhauses mit grossem Garten wurde 2020 komplett renoviert und liegt direkt am Rand des Naturschutzgebiets "La Grande Cariçaie". Der Neuenburgersee ist zu Fuss in 8 Minuten und mit dem Fahrrad in 5min leicht erreichbar.

Die Nachbarschaft ist sehr ruhig.
