The community, then called Camp Gordon Johnston, was set near the beautiful beaches of the gulf coast, and St George Island, for easy access during training for the D-Day invasion! It is situated conveniently between the fresh, upscale town of Appalachacola, and the scenic state parks of Wakula Springs. On foot it’s a short 4 block walk away to the marina or less to local hotspots. With two king bedrooms, living room queen sofa bed, bedroom full sofa bed. Two bathrooms include showers (1 w/tub) and hair dryers. Soaps, shampoo provided.

Fin's Hideaway on St. George Island is nestled above Journey's of St. George Island and Paddy's Raw Bar. This one-bedroom/one-bath apartment is perfect for a beach getaway--walking distance to shops and restaurants with spectacular sunset views! Kayaks, Stand Up Paddleboards, and a Golf Cart are included with each reservation. This unit is located on the second floor of the building. Paddy's Raw Bar, located downstairs, has live music in the evenings. *Must be 25 years old*
