"Sky’s Place" Northern Lights & Alaskan Charm

Welcome to Sky’s Place. This little gem with its Alaskan charm is located just 20 minutes from grocery, local bars and restaurants. 60 min to Chena Hot Springs and 2 hours to Denali National Park. It’s a perfect romantic getaway or a cozy place to enjoy with friends. We are up in the hills facing north without city lights, allowing spectacular northern light viewing. Lots of beautiful wood accents, natural light and room darkening shades. When possible, I can offer flexible check in/out times.

This one of a kind cabin, offers the most spectacular 270° views for both sunrise, sunset, and Aurora viewing! Sitting on top of the locally popular Ester Dome, this unique cabin overlooks all of Fairbanks and the surrounding areas. Just 11 miles to the airport, there is amazing hiking/biking trails nearby. With a surplus of windows, the breathtaking Alaskan tundra/mountains are highlighted. Inside this custom built cabin, there is a cozy living room and a fully functional kitchen/bathroom.

The property is located just 5 miles to downtown and 10 miles from Fairbanks International Airport.

The city, with shopping, restaurants, river walk, museums and night life is a beautiful 20 minute drive & we often see Denali.

After exploring Fairbanks, you can get your gear cleaned in the washer and dryer. Sleep tight on the memory foam mattress. Create something special in the full kitchen. Work on your to-do list in the home office. Or just relax on the couch with free access to Netflix, Apple TV, and Amazon. Truly a relaxing stay.

Approximately 15 minute drive from downtown Fairbanks. The driveway to the cabin may require a vehicle with 4 wheel drive and winter tires in the winter

As a welcome to our guests, we provide fresh eggs from our flock of chickens, homemade granola, milk, fresh fruit, coffee and tea!
