Very well equipped & an ideal base for rest & activities. Just a few mins walk to Castle Menzies, the Ailean Chraggan bar restaurant, fantastic walks, River Tay, forest tracks etc. 2 min drive/easy 20 min walk to Aberfeldy for shops, fuel, cafes, food. 5-star, helpful (but v unobtrusive) host!

It is a peaceful oasis, tucked away from it all at Foss, in the Tummel Valley, but it is easily accessible from the A9 near Pitlochry.

We look forward to sharing our lovely chalet with you. If the weather is fine you will wake up to fabulous views across the valley. There are several good walks right from the chalet, and once down the track the possibilities for walks or spectacular places to visit are endless. The dirt track is about 2 miles (3kms) long, and all uphill. All types of family car can make the drive with care. Not suitable for motorbikes or EV's. Due to the chalet being timber construction BBQ's are not allowed.

An idyllic base for exploring the scenic heart of Perthshire and its pretty towns of Aberfeldy, Pitlochry and Kenmore.

West Cottage is a typical Scottish country cottage among mountains in beautiful Glenlyon. It's semi-detached from our own house with its own entrance. Beautiful, interesting interior with thousands of books. Central heating and wood burning stove. Original range in kitchen, two double bedrooms with a double bed each, both with an extra single bed. There's a fully-equipped kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, fridge. Overlooking a bird feeding area with frequent visits from red squirrels.

The Owl House at Gardeners Cottage (dog friendly)

The Owl House is a cosy retreat, five minutes from historic Fortingall. This former outbuilding has been lovingly renovated and commands beautiful views over the glen. At night, add some logs to the wood-burning stove, sit back, and enjoy listening to the owls hooting. Glen Lyon, Ben Lawers, Schiehallion, Aberfeldy, Drummond Hill and Loch Tay are just a stones throw away. Well-behaved dogs welcome (please note that we do not allow cats). There is a spacious super kingsize (or twin) bedroom, spectacular living space, modern kitchen & shower room, private entrance, parking & outside seating area. Milton Cottage in Glen Lyon

At Milton Cottage we aim to offer guests a cosy retreat to our croft where they can come and unwind in Glenlyon, Scotland’s longest and most beautiful glen. For hill walking, Ben Lawers and 12 munros are within a 6 mile radius. If you like fishing, salmon and trout fishing can be arranged. On request, we offer a three-course dinner. It's all homemade and we regularly cook vegetarian dishes, using our own or local produce where possible. The cottage has reliable WIFI broadband.
