Sandpit Cottage is located in the Blackwater Valley, surrounded by green fields and rolling hills, with the Knockmealdown, Comeragh and Galtee mountain ranges clearly visible in the distance. It is situated in an agricultural heartland, nestled between the towns of Youghal, Tallow, Lismore & Cappoquin. Outdoor pursuits include the beachs, walking, cycling, fishing and golfing, with fine dining available in nearby Ardmore and Dungarvan.

A Rustic Retreat with Country Charm/Scenic views

The cosy cabin features one double and one single bedroom, seperate fully equipped kitchen with Nespresso coffee machine, lounge with sofa, Smart TV with HDMI, Fibre broadband, gas stove and dining table, bathroom with hand basin, toilet and shower. The cabin has double glazed windows with central heating, patio doors opening to south facing veranda with patio furniture and private car park. Quiet surrondings with views of the mountains. Very functional and homely.

The Swallow's Nest

Please don't come here - If you're looking for big city lights, mod cons & public transport. Please do come here - If you're interested in growing your own food, keeping bees, hiking, food preservation, nature, chickens & geese, bats, birdsong & silence (hens/geese/wildlife permitting!). The Swallow's Nest is a tiny barn which sits between Slievenamon & the Comeragh mountains, in the glorious valley known as The Honeylands but is only a ten minute drive from Clonmel, Tipperary's County town.

Built in 1857, this unique space is the former goods shed to a converted railway station, our family home. Separate from the main house with your own private entrance, balcony, plenty of parking, it is double glazed, central heated and self-contained. Set in 9 acres, it offers tranquillity and calm. 5 minutes by car is the beautiful, historic, heritage town of Lismore with its magnificent castle gardens. Walking, water sports, distilleries, and the stunning coast are all within easy access.

The Waterford Greenway Cycle path close by at Dungarvan. St Carthage's Cathedral tops it off!

This old renovated farmhouse provides comfortable accommodation for anyone wishing to explore the area with its many historical sites and attractions for those who love the great outdoors. Just 2km from Mitchelstown cave and 4 km from the Galtee mountains, Alice’s farmhouse is located close to a working dairy farm where cows and hens may pass by.
