Hayfield Cabin 1, a place to get away from it all!

Just a few miles south of Fort Laramie, the Hayfield cabins are located on a 300 acre working ranch with private access to the Laramie River. If you like to fish or just enjoy nature it is a .4 mile walk to the river. We are located 2.5 miles west of Fort Laramie Natl. Park. In proximity to several historic sites, museums and recreational lakes. Just a day trip to visit Mt. Rushmore & Crazy Horse. This is a remote location and low profile vehicles are not recommend for access.

The Bunkhouse

So much more than a working cowboy’s living quarters. The Bunkhouse offers privacy in a park like setting. It has a mini-kitchenette in a studio style space. The bathroom has a remarkably cowboy/rustic sensation. The mini-kitchenette is stocked with a limited amount of commonly used every day provisions. The cozy cottage is 2 blocks from downtown Douglas where you will find restaurants, bars, a movie theater, boutique shopping and at certain times of the year outdoor festivities.
