The Woodzie at Elk Creek Escape

OPEN YEAR ROUND!!-The woodzie is a secluded primitive cabin with a woodstove available and firewood, for cool nights. It has a deal spiral staircase for sleeping in the loft. The cabin borders State forest, Showers available at the main camp. There isn’t electricity as of yet, but there are solar lights! There is a rustic out house at the cabin. The “old school” lodge overlooks our humble, but beautiful lake, at Camp Maple Lake. Vacationing at Camp Maple Lake is a unique opportunity to explore the grounds of an old summer wilderness camp, without all the campers & counselors. Canoe on the lake, go fishing, or sit on the lake side deck with your cup of coffee & watch the sunrise. Sorry, the lake is not for swimming, just for snapping turtles and fish And don't forget to bring firewood and s’mores for a camp fire under the stars.

With 3 bedrooms, a full bath, washer & dryer, fireplace, and open living space, it’s perfect for family or friends. Enjoy AC on summer nights, relax by the creek, or gather around the fire pit on chilly evenings.

The Railroad Scale House: 40 private acres & creek

Our cabin is conveniently located 1 mile outside of small town Dushore. It offers a private getaway on 40 acres of wooded land encompassing a creek, walking trails on the old railroad tracks and much more. The cabin offers a kitchen with stove and refrigerator. Spend family time in the living space and loft. Sit on the porch and enjoy listening to the creek while grilling. WIFI included Worlds End State Park & Ricketts Glenn State Park are both located within 20 minute drive
