My family group of 13 was very impressed with the beauty of the accommodations and the area. The hosts were very responsive to our questions and concerns. The kitchen was so well stocked and we ate in for most meals, except of course for the traditional WI Friday night fish fry! We had plenty of room for our group and everything was nice and clean. And the bakery they bought for us was a nice touch. I would recommend this property to anyone.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming lakeside cottage! It was the perfect spot for a slow-paced family getaway. The cottage is nestled right by the lake, providing stunning views and a serene atmosphere. We spent our days lounging by the water, enjoying peaceful walks around the area, and simply unwinding from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The hosts were incredibly hospitable and ensured we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. If you're looking for a place to relax and take a break, this is the ideal spot. overall a good stay. I prefer white towels over black ones. sheets were dark brown, I prefer white. water comes from well and is brownish in color due to iron. there are no hooks to hang towels. also nowhere to hang clothes. bathroom sliding door has no handle. freezer was not cleaned. There was plenty of coffee.

First time experience at a lake house and it was very pleasant. Stayed with a 11 member group including kids from age 1 to 13 and everyone liked the place. Access to Pontoon was an added attraction and was very easy to learn and operate. Scott responds to texts within minutes and always accessible, place is easy to find and the location is serene.

Cute and cozy cabin. Very clean and we enjoyed our stay. Great location for the trails. We have always loved that area. Mud room was so nice for all of our gear. We definitely will be back.

Absolutely beautiful as we arrived with the first snowfall of the year. Comfortable, warm and cozy setting on the lake with plenty of room for the kids to play in the snow.

Our family had the vacation we hoped for - peaceful, relaxing, fun, and in touch with nature. The fishing was good, the family of bald eagles next door a treat, and we enjoyed hours of quiet time on the dock, on the spacious deck, and in the well-appointed cabin. Our hosts were incredibly accommodating, generous with their time, and regularly checked in with us to see what else they could do for us to make our stay enjoyable. We highly recommend a visit to anyone looking for a place to unwind!

I was flying solo, but I could imagine this cottage being perfect for a family of 4. Nice balcony facing the lake (sunset). A grill at the ready. 100 feet from its own pier. A few short yards to the roped off swim area. Stanley Lake is crystal clear. The shoreline and swim area are completely weed free, unlike many other lakes in the area. Great swimming for the kids. inside is a cool wood burning stove that is gas fired and looks better than wood burning. It's the main heat for the cabin, so it's controlled by a thermostat. the bedrooms are nice and the beds are very comfortable. No problem sleeping there. Plenty of counter space in the kitchen, and fully equipped with everything you'll need. 10 mins from iron river, so groceries and supplies are a breeze. I have t-mobile, which has zero signal, so I paired my phone with the wifi and was back in business. nice tv with plenty of viewing options, and several games if the weather isn't cooperating. Great Place for solo or family of 4

Our stay at the cabin on lost lake is great for hunting. It's definitely peaceful. We have used the cabin for 3 hunts so far and have been successful all 3 times.I would recommend this property to anyone that is looking.

Good spot near lots of public hunting land. Lots of space and nice amenities.
