Stunning Bankers Loft with King Size Bed

This 2-bedroom, 1-bath apartment once housed the President of the Farmers Bank of Floyd, which was the building's first floor (the vault and safe are still intact). It has been painstakingly restored to its former glory in 2023. The original 120-year-old timber frames and wood floors have been preserved, while the electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and drywall have all been replaced. The result is a stunning apartment that retains its 18th-century charm while also offering all the modern conveniences.

Silverwing Cottage Cove 30 min to VT

Perched up in the oak forest treetops. 30 min to VT 15 to Carillion. Same level parking, private deck. The green bedroom has a screened porch that overlooks our ducks. Owners live in a separate basement wing with separate entry. Ten minute hike down a mountain path to our secluded cove with a big dock to lounge, kayak, (5 kayaks available with lifejackets) and swim on. Fresh eggs, bread, and granola from the farm across the street are provided for breakfast. The linens are all 100% cotton.

Cozy walk-out basement on Cloudbreak

Spend a night here on your way down the parkway. Your accommodations may be utilitarian, but the price is appropriately low. This rental is in a four-unit apartment so you might encounter neighbors. Cloudbreak is a scenic road on top of the ridge surrounded by farmland. It is parallel to the highway but far enough avoid the traffic. This rental is ideally located for you to visit Meadows of Dan (3.1 mi) and Fred Clifton Park (3.9 mi) on the way down the mountain (Stuart, Martinsville, etc.)

Spacious loft located off 221 N, fifteen minutes from the town of Floyd, Virginia. This third floor space has a separate entrance, one flight of stairs, a private bathroom, and a well-equipped kitchenette. An open floor plan with nooks throughout, allows space for stretching, sleeping, reading, working at a desk, eating, and relaxing. Private balcony overlooks large garden, as well as the Little River. An abundance of wildlife, including a wide variety of birds, are drawn to the river.
