Good quiet place to stay near Harper’s Ferry. Place was clean, hot tub was nice we were able to watch deer next door and across the street hang out and graze. Everything was in place and clean. Beds were soft and comfortable. The only issue that I have is the rocks that line the driveway especially when turning out of the driveway will catch lower vehicles and cars it caused a little damage to my wife’s car and be careful where you park there is an oak tree with dead and rotting limbs that need to be trimmed that are right above the area where cars would park if you have more than one car. If I were to ever come back to Harper’s Ferry I would definitely stay there again.

The description and photos are very accurate but do not do justice to this cottage. It was absolutely perfect, we fell in love with it as soon as we walked in. You can see all the hard work and effort John and Lori put into this place for their guest. It was decorated beautifully, my husband loves all the canoes that were sitting around. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to get away and just relax. Thank you again John and Lori.

Elizabeth Cottage is an absolute gem! The home is cozy, comfortable, and filled with sweet touches that made our stay lovely. The yard is large and so pretty, with nice outdoor seating spaces to enjoy the garden and birds. We loved being so close to the springs, baths, and shopping. Perfect house for our little Falling Water/Kentuck Knob getaway with the kids. The creek adds a lot of charm and we didn’t bring ocean waves for the kids to sleep to so we just cracked the windows a little bit and the creek did its job. Highly recommend!

Darrel went above and beyond in making sure we had a great stay! He was kind, responsive and overall a superstar. We had an incredibly relaxing time and enjoyed the peace his listing had to offer. So comfy and clean! Stayed for a few nights with some friends to forget about life for awhile. Easy walk to town, awesome hot tub on the deck and the grill works great. We left recharged and will def be back!

FOXY was a pure delight! Just book it and you can enjoy the trendy decor, well stocked modern kitchen, comfiest bed, squeaky clean oversized bathroom, and serene views of the rolling hills (and mountains in the background) with cattle and sheep grazing in the distance. You might also get the bonus of enjoying a star-filled evening from the private hot tub just steps away from the side door! There’s plenty of great restaurants , shopping, and activities nearby but pack your bags and enjoy your retreat! Gillian is a most attentive host, check in and check out was a breeze, and the house instruction/guide book was easy to use and helpful. Attention was given to every detail to make guests feel welcome, comfortable, and spoiled!

It truly felt like a "home away from home" - but without any of the stress! The location in Wardensville offers beautiful surroundings, and the host was exceptional - responsive, thoughtful, and clearly committed to providing guests with a five-star experience. If you're looking for a getaway that combines comfort, convenience, and natural beauty, the Cottage at Lost River Ridge is an absolute gem.

It was an amazing weekend in this home. The kitchen, bathroom and linen closet were well stocked and we didn’t run out of anything. The house is right on the water and provided hours of free entertainment. The house contained cable, plenty of DVDs/Bluray movies, board games, and sitting space. Wisp is seconds away by car and minutes by walking. Host was responsive and understanding, even after I lost the house keys.

Jen's place never disappoints. Peaceful and secluded but close to so many things for entertainment if thats what you want. I enjoyed just settling back and relaxing.

We had a lovely stay at this cottage. Very clean and nice amenities. 25 minutes from White tail and 15 minutes from downtown Mercersburg. Super friendly hosts.

It was a very nice place. The fire pit was great. We got to sit around the first night. A cottage was very quaint and clean. Will use it again and lots of extra things for us to use when we ran out of like the water thank you, Michael.

Went for labor day weekend- it was so beautiful and secluded, quiet peaceful I would say. The pool was amazing , great for the kids. Barbara is very responsive and answers any questions you may have. Charles is a delight with good conversations. Great hospitality from both of them 😊 Make sure to bring everything you might need since the place is secluded and not too close from many stores. I would definitely come back to Barbara’s. Thank you for a great stay!

Mark’s place was perfect! It was just what our family of four needed for a last-minute getaway. The house is beautiful and unique and we appreciated the basket of goodies. Location’s convenient to Harper’s Ferry, Charles Town, Frederick, Shepherdstown. My husband loved the sauna! Mark was super kind and responsive. We had a wonderful stay!

My children loved the upstairs loft which even had a toilet and sink! The couch was cozy, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen had the basics, Joe and his co-hosts were responsive, and we enjoyed using the house as a base camp to explore fishing at the hatchery and going to Harper's Ferry. We enjoyed the stay. Beds were comfortable, so we all slept well! We especially enjoyed eating dinner on the porch. There was a nice patio table and chairs to seat 5 of us.

The Brookie is a wonderful place to spend some time by the Savage River. Cozy, cheerful, comfortable, clean and equipped with everything needed for a stay in the Maryland mountains. I highly recommend it.

This was our family's second time staying here and we intend to do so again next year if she'll have us again! look I am very tempted to NOT write a review because this is a bit of a hidden gem, but the host was excellent and deserves the visibility, even if it means it's harder for us in the future! location is great for hitting up Wisp and far enough away it still feels like a private retreat. really great host who has welcomed us into her cabin twice now! Washer and dryer were clutch w this trip with rain the first day! but we were able to dry out our gear and hit the slops and second day without issue!!!

Super great host…super responsive!!!! Great table for serving family dinners and playing games. The bedrooms are well furnished and comfortable. The views from the living room HUGE picture window are indescribable. We loved watching a thunderstorm roll in and the hawks flying around. This visit we saw a gorgeous bald eagle. This was our third visit to The Birdhouse, and we plan to return!!
