Poplar Cove Retreat is a nature lover's paradise! Whether your interest is flowers, trees, birds, or rocks, you'll find it all in abundance. The house is located on our 80+ acre family farm where black angus cattle also reside. You may also spot deer, turkeys, and other wildlife. There are numerous bird feeders so you can enjoy birdwatching from several outdoor seating areas. The property is filled with paths through wildflower gardens and has expansive views of the surrounding mountains.

Relax with friends or family at this peaceful, private retreat. The Old Farmhouse Lodge is a large 2600 square foot beautiful country style home with a large kitchen and dining room and spacious, comfortable bedrooms. The property itself is set up for outside activities by offering a place to play softball or other games such as horseshoes , cornhole or hiking. Relax on the front porch or around the fire pit, wood or gas. Bring your fishing poles and fish the beautiful stocked pond.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway in the middle of the Big South Fork Recreation area. The cabin is 8 miles from East Fork Stables and 15 from Honey Creek and many other Big South Fork Trail Heads for riding horses and hiking. If you have horses you’d like to bring, East Fork and Honey Creek offer stalls and tons of trails. It’s a short drive to WalMart and Muddy Pond. We also have two RV campsites available with water and electric that are listed separately on AirBNB.

It has a complete full kitchen and a gas fireplace to keep you comfortable in every season. There is 1 bedroom with queen bed and in the loft 2 queen beds that will sleep 6 comfortably. The bathroom has a walk in shower and a claw foot tub. You can sit out on the front or back porch to enjoy the view.

Pogue Creek State Natural Area is about 10 minutes away. We do have chicken's and bee's. We do sell eggs to our guests at discounted price.
