An Cala, Benderloch

An Cala is a cosy cottage in a rural location in the village of Benderloch, within only 20 minutes' drive of Oban. There are sandy beaches within easy walking distance. The Fort William to Oban cycle path passes right outside the garden gate. The village has a convenience store and seasonal cafe, which are just 2 minutes' walk away. This is an ideal base for exploring the West coast of Argyll. Ferries run from Oban to various islands, and the mountains of Glencoe are 45 minutes to the North.

This renovated one bedroom flat is situated in a historic building in the centre of Oban. It is located on the first floor with views to front and rear through large windows. It is ideal for visitors who want the convenience of staying in the town, with all facilities, shops and transport links within a couple of minutes walk. Get away from it all in our shepherd's hut located just outside the village of Connel and only a ten minute drive from the bustling seaside town of Oban. The accommodation is located on our family croft (we live on site near to the shepherds hut) with ducks, hens, Hebridean sheep and our two ponies as your closest neighbours. We are surrounded by abundant wildlife such as pine martens and red deer and have outstanding views over unspoiled countryside towards the slopes of Ben Cruachan.
