Deep in a holler between the mountains, The 48 is a fully renovated 1948 Spartan camper: aircraft-grade aluminum, built by a Tulsa plane-maker older than Airstream and rarer than the silver bullets everyone knows. Sip coffee between the peaks, then hike, raft, or climb the New River Gorge. Cozy midcentury interior, tankless hot showers, and a table that converts to a queen.
