Islanninhevoset, koirat, kissa sekä lampaat olivat ystävällisiä. Nous avons séjourné une nuit à la ferme, accueillis par Ellen et sa fille, toutes deux adorables. L’environnement est si paisible, avec une magnifique vue sur les montagnes ! Nous avons pu rencontrer les chevaux d’Ellen et les caresser. Le logement était très propre, bien équipé, et chaleureux. Nous étions 4 amis, et Ellen a eu la gentillesse de préparer un lit pour chacun de nous, qui sont, au passage, très confortables. Je recommande les yeux fermés !

Eine niedliche, sehr kleine, gut funktional eingerichtete Unterkunft in einer fantastischen Gegend. Ideal für Camping. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich.

Do not hesitate , this is a one of a kind gem! I loved the place and the host is amazingly responsive!! 10 out of 10 on the location , beauty , and welcoming atmosphere. Sóley was incredible in every way. I cant recommend this place enough.

The cottage was lovely and in a secluded location surrounded by bird-song and trees, just a short drive from Egilsstadir. The deck outside is expansive and would be great in warmer weather; as it is, the hot tub was terrific after a day of exploring, and for viewing the northern lights! The bedrooms are European-tiny without a lot of room for "stuff", but with only two of us, we were able to spread out a bit and it all worked out just fine. We very enjoyed our stay in this lovely family getaway.

It was super cozy for our trip and we stayed for couple days, waking up with wonderful views and cooked lots of food in this room. Highly recommended and definitely worth staying there. The host was friendly and proactive, always willing to help. Thank you for letting us stay, we loved it.

Auf unserer Island Rundreise haben wir über die Ostertage diese Unterkunft für 2 Erwachsene und 2 Jugendliche gebucht. Sie ist wirklich traumhaft. Vor allem die Lage! Wir konnten wunderschöne Fotos vom Sonnenuntergang und sogar von den Nordlichtern machen. Da hatten wir richtig Glück. Drinnen ist die Unterkunft wie auf den Fotos beschriebenen. Sie kam uns ein bisschen kleiner als erwartet, was uns aber nicht weiter störte. Wir würden die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen...allerdings haben wir auch vergleichsweise sehr viel bezahlt. Vielleicht lag das daran, weil Ostern war und weil wir so spät gebucht hatten, aber wir haben fast das doppelte bezahlt, was wir in anderen Blockhütten in Island bezahlt haben. Außer dem Preis können wir uns aber nicht beklagen und waren mega happy. Vielen Dank!
