IDLEWILD: A High Mountain Log Cabin 🏔

Our traditional log cabin is perfect for a long weekend getaway. Built in 1994 and located in the Pike National Forest our cabin boasts amazing views. Best suited for 4 people. 25 miles to Breckenridge, footsteps away from hiking , and short drive from world class fly fishing this cabin is suited for every outdoor adventure or simply relaxing in front of the wood burning stove or on the wrap around deck. This cabin has cell/high speed internet service, which can be hard to come by in the area.

It is great for couples, (Smart Queen bed & (2) 73" cots provided in case friends come), solo adventurers, and business travelers. The dome sits on 2 acres. Welcome to the "Helms Nest", our tiny home mountain getaway, perfect to come back to after a day of skiing or hiking (a short drive to several 14ers and ski resorts). It has a full kitchen, full bathroom with hot shower and flush toilet, and queen sized bed in the loft. We commonly hear that our space is bigger than imagined.
