We stayed about one week at Alina’s boathouse listing and it was absolutely stunning. The peaceful and remote location was both private and relaxing. Our jaws dropped as soon as we walked inside. It was such a cozy little space that had everything we needed and her attention to detail is impressive! After a long day of hiking and exploring coming back to the boathouse was a wonderful comfort. Wood burning chimney and a hot cup of tea while watching all sorts of birds and boats in the harbor was glorious! We would without a doubt come back in a heartbeat and recommend this to anyone who loves adventure, the simple life, nature, and a fantastic view. Being able to disconnect from the world to reconnect to yourself and nature was really special, thank you so much!

A great location to stay while on the Faeröer 🇫🇴. Susanna is a very friendly host and her house is welcoming and cozy. Kitchen is well equipped, as is the rest of house. Stable internet should you need it. Easy drive from Torshavn and well positioned for all sorts of great activities and hikes in the Faeröer.

This place was perfect for our group—4 bedrooms, fits 7–8 people easily. Only one bathroom, but it was totally fine for four of us. The kitchen was amazing and fully equipped, cooking there was a joy! The host even left us some ingredients, which was super helpful. The living room was cozy with lots of board games to enjoy. The town is truly one of the most beautiful in the Faroes—great hiking nearby, and even just walking around feels like a peaceful escape from the world. Just remember to bring groceries in advance, as there aren’t many shops or restaurants around. We had the best 3 days of our trip here—highly recommended!

Eine wunderschöne Unterkunft mit großartigen Ausblicken aus dem Eckfenster und der oben gelegenen Terrasse. Rannvá ist eine sehr nette Gastgeberin, fragt nach ob alles gut ist und gab im Vorfeld hilfreiche Tipps für die Umgebung. Oynafjordur ist eine wunderbare Gegend und man kann es gut als Basis für Wanderungen oder weitere Ausflüge nehmen.

We had a wonderful stay at the house. it was perfext for two, but can easily accommodate more (3 bedrooms of which we only used 2). the interior is a true gem - a way-back-machine to the early 20th century, antique furniture, a shockingly well equipped kitchen (really, kudos for that! ther is also a cupboard with proper cocktail tools, something i've never seen in airbnbs before...), while not missing out on any amenities. I would gladly come again! Also, there was the most lovely guest book. If you want to check out the Elusive Glass Puffin and where to find it plus other guest's local recommendations, you need to visit yourself and have a look!

We loved our stay at Gunnar’s. It’s well located with stunning views. Very private and peaceful, easy to find. There is a steep hill going up so it may not be great for those with lots of luggage or who cannot walk steep distances

We really, really enjoyed our stay in Elsa`s beautiful and cozy home in Elduvik and recommend this as highly as we can possibly recommend a place to stay. It was truly a unique place to stay in Elduvik and significant care was made to make this a really homey place, from the design touches to a meticulous renovation of a traditional home. Indeed there are no restaurants or stores in the village, but that is the charm of staying here. Cooking in, going to the fish market and supermarket before arriving and simply enjoying a very special and unique experience separated from the stresses of life. The house has everything you need and you feel immediately warm and at home as soon as you walk in. We just wish we could have stayed longer.
