We are family of 4. The house is very clean with amazing views. We have everything we need here. Bathroom is clean and warm. We cooked quite often and the kitchen utensils are of high quality. This is one of the top3 Air B&B we have ever stayed for the last 10years we travel around. Thank you Agusta for sharing this house .

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Akureyri. Nous recommandons fortement cet appartement qui était plus grand que sur les photos, très propre, calme, idéalement placé et apaisant. La piscine est juste à côté de l’appartement et les transports publics (gratuits dans le périmètre de la ville) sont à proximité. Hôte très réactive et bienveillante. Nous reviendrons 😊

We had a great 3 day stay at Sveinns place in Akureyri and used it as a base camp for daytrips in the area/region. We were 3 adults and found the place spacious and clean with comfortable beds and large bathroom. Large kitchen with all the things we needed for our stay. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood 5-8 min driving from downtown Akureyri. There are grocery stores not so far from the house. We can strongly recommend this place.

Fantastic beds, very clean appartment, good rest, warm, we could dry in the wet weather, well equipped,as said,I loved it, just like on the photos. Friendly, experieced host. Good suprise the coffee machine and the ice cube maker and the boardgames;))

Einstaklega huggulegt og kósý hús fyrir vinkonuhópinn. Allt til alls í eldhúsinu og tvö baðherbergi :) Þetta er í annað sinn sem við erum allar saman í húsinu og við vorum allar sammála um að þarna væri gott að vera. Staðsetningin er miðsvæðis og samskiptin við eigandann frábær.

Yndislegt að gista í Airbnb íbúð hennar Berglindi. Staðsetning var fullkomið, íbúð var skemmtilega og passaði fullkomið fyrir okkur. Eina það þarfa að pasa bílastæði virkilega því ég fekk tvö stöðumælasekt í eina löng helgi.

This was one of the best Airbnb stays I’ve had. The apartment was so welcoming and the special touches were so thoughtful and appreciated. From the gift basket to the personalized welcome sheet, we felt at home immediately. Everything was immaculate and the added convenience of the washer/dryer was wonderful after spending a week in an RV. Host was fabulous and very responsive. I cannot recommend this stay more highly. My only regret was not accounting for additional nights — we would have loved another night or two it was so relaxing and comfortable.

Wir hatten das Vergnügen, in einer sauberen und großen, geschmackvoll eingerichteten Ferienwohnung zu übernachten. Die Wohnung war äußerst geräumig und sehr gepflegt, was sofort einen positiven Eindruck hinterließ. Die Einrichtung war stilvoll und bot eine angenehme Atmosphäre zum Entspannen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die hervorragende Lage: Die Boote für die Walbeobachtung sind bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Für den Weg zum Supermarkt wäre aber ein Auto ratsam. Insgesamt waren wir äußerst zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt und können diese Ferienwohnung uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Hands down the favorite place we stayed during our trips! Conveniently located near downtown but, quieter than staying in a more touristy area. They were great hosts and super helpful and the place was in great condition. Will be recommending this place to any friends I know traveling to Iceland.

Very nice apartment. Very clean, cozy and had everything we needed. Cozy living room with a comfortable sofa. Comfortable beds and TV in the master bedroom. We enjoyed watching a bit of netflix after skiing. The kitchen is good and we cooked a few meals there. The instructions and communication with the host were great. Will definitely be looking to come back in the future!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic. We loved the house and it eas wonderful having the hot tub each evening. The Hestasport team was fabulous at answerig questions on the rettir and helping arrange activities. In 4 days we went horseback riding, helped with a aheeo sirting, went whitewater rafting, explored the area, and ate at seceral fantadtic local restaurants. The hotel steos away from our house serves amazing food. Every part of this stay was wonderful. We highly recommend!

Although we only stayed one night, this place would be wonderful for a longer stay. Walkable location to shopping and restaurants, comfortable beds, and everything you would need for preparing quick meals too. There is so much to do in this area, if I get the chance to return, I would definitely be happy to stay here again.

Cute little place. It was centrally located but the street was nice and quiet. The hosts are friendly and live right upstairs if you need anything. Everything went well. If you coming from. the East avoid the 1900isk toll and go around the mountain instead of through the tunnel.

This Airbnb in Akureyri was a great choice, as it was close to the centre and the interior was really nice (furnished with wooden mid-century furniture, which was a big plus for me). Helga, our host was very friendly and helpful, she recommended great restaurants, we tried one of them, and had a top notch experience.

If I could give more stars for location, I would. Definitely go the the public pool a short walk away. The people are so friendly and there are 2 awesome water slides (one is referred to by local kids as the toilet bowl, you'll see why in a fun way). This is a bottom floor apartment which seems very new. The apartment was quiet and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The bed was comfy. The Northern lights were amazing. Probably the best place we stayed in Iceland and a good value.

Fullkomin gisting fyrir barnafjölskyldur. Íbúðin var hrein og fín, og 4 ára strákurinn okkar var svo glaður að fá að leika með dótið sem var í boði. Æðislegt að geta slakað á í heitapottinum. Mæli eindregið með þessari eign!

L'alloggio era nuovo di restauro, perfettamente arredato per accogliere gli ospiti. C'è un gattino che accoglie i visitatori e che può essere coccolato. Casa di Anna è confortevole e comoda come campo base per esplorare i dintorni. La cucina mette a disposizione tutto quello che occorre per farsi da mangiare. Gli spazi sono più indicati per una famiglia con figli. Noi eravamo 4 adulti e siamo comunque riusciti a dividerci gli spazi senza troppi problemi.

This was by far the best place we stayed during our visit to Iceland. The unit was nicely equipped from the kitchen to the linens. Location was walkable to dinner and local shopping. We were even able to walk to the docks for our whale watching excursion. Our only driving was to the Forest Lagoon hot springs (highly recommend them, we went twice)

We felt right at home, both because the house was very warm and welcoming and because our hosts were amazing. The were super friendly from the start and even gave us an heads up to go out and look at the northern lights as they were happening. The island is very cute and fairly easy to access via ferry and was a great place to watch the northern lights considering the low light pollution.

It is very difficult to get someone to offer you their own house for your stay, and for one night only. Andri and his family do it. It is unbelievable. As amazing is their beautiful home. Magnificent, beautiful, comfortable and spotlessly clean. It doesn't deserve 5 points out of 5, it deserves 10 out of 5. Pity that on a trip around Iceland you have to rush to see the sites and can't enjoy the house for a few hours awake, having a drink on the beautiful terrace. Extraordinary. More than recommended. This apartment was modern and clean on a quiet street. Our family of 4 stayed here for a week, and it suit our needs perfectly. We cooked breakfast each morning at the apartment and packed lunch for sight seeing. The place is super convenient to town and we enjoyed several excellent local restaurants for dinner. Would highly recommend this accommodation!
