Warm and cosy private cottage in Varmahlíð - Hestasport Cottages

With magnificent views overlooking the vast plains and distant mountains of the Skagafjörður valley, our charming timber cottages are the ideal place to spend your days off all year round. Experience the serenity of Northern Iceland and fill your days with the endless possibilities for adventure that Skagafjörður has to offer. Our cottages are nestled together up on the hill only a short walking distance from the centre of Varmahlíð. In town, you will find all the services you need: tourist information, grocery shop, restaurant, petrol station, ATM, swimming pool, and more. From the natural hot tub at the center of the well-maintained cottage site, you can enjoy the golden light of the midnight sun or watch the northern lights. You will stay in one of our four studio-style 2-person cottages. They range from 30 to 36 square meters in size and feature different decoration. You can choose to have one large double bed or two single beds in your cottage. Please state at the time of booking which one you require.

Modern cottage with a great view

A luxurious and modern style cottage near the ski/mountain bike resort Hlíðarfjall that offers guests a comfortable retreat after a day of skiing or other activities. A spacious common area and 3 bedrooms with a total of 6 quality beds. There are 2 bathrooms and a hot tub. A fully-equipped kitchen, a TV (Netflix) and a fiber connected WiFi. Includes a grill and outside seating areas where you will enjoy the beauty of the surrounding area with views of the mountains surrounding Eyjafjörður.

Our two bedroom cottage cuddled into nature in Húsavík suburb with a breathtaking view serves as a tiny home, away from home where you have a lot of privacy and comfort in as close proximity to the spirit of nature as possible. The location is extraordinary as it has breathtaking view, abundant bird-life, spectacular nature and wildlife, country comfort and urban activities and service in town. Walking paths are along the lakes and to surrounding places. Minimum rental is 2 nights.

Heidarbaer - Log House.

Family Log House in the rural North Iceland. Located in Skagafjordur in North of Iceland. Complete privacy with only farms in the vicinity. Wake up in silence with occasional bird songs and possibly lamb bleating . The cabin is a newly, well heated with WIFI connection. The kitchenette has a fridge, washing machine, coffee machine, small stove and an Air fryer. The bunker bed can sleep 3 children (2 young ones below and a bigger one or an adult above). Bed linen and towels on site

Modern cottage in beautiful surroundings.

The house is beautifully located in Hjalteyri. From the house, there is a stunning view over the fiord, with both mountains and water in sight. The inside of the house is bright, because of the big windows and light colors inside. The house is located a 20 minutes drive from both Akureyri and Dalvík - two larger cities. Hope you will enjoy our cottage house and its surroundings. Hjalteyri offers whale watching, coffee house/restaurant, art gallery and fishing at the harbor.

Akureyri Views Cabin

Large spacious house. Stunning location in the mountains across from Akureyri with breathtaking views over the town. Private Hot Tub / Jacuzzi available year around with massage and multi colour lights. Located in a quiet location only 5-7 minute drive from the Akureyri. Dark location for Northern Lights viewing for the winter months, straight from the Jacuzzi. Great for those who like hiking in the mountains and stay in quiet and relaxing area.

Bakkakot 1 - Cosy cabins in the wood

Bakkakot 1 is one of our cabins in the woods with beautiful views of the ocean and mountains. A relaxing retreat in the Icelandic countryside with TV, DVD, well equipped kitchen, bathroom, WiFi, games and books, grill (during summer) and a shared hot tub area. We are located 20km from Akureyri so this cabin is the perfect location for those seeking peace and quiet, nature, northern lights or just a great base on the Arctic Coastway.

Cozy cabin in quiet, beautiful area

Small cottage (37 m2) with two bedrooms and a large patio. Peaceful and quiet but yet close to the town of Dalvik and only about 40 km to Akureyri. Located at the heart of the Troll peninsula, with beautiful mountain and ocean views. Perfect location for exploration in the Eyjafjordur area, both summer and winter, hiking biking, skiing etc. Ideal for mountain skiers. Daily whale watching tours with Arctic Sea Tours from Dalvik.
