This apartment was very comfortable and extremely well-organized. We had everything we needed including excellent coffee! The beds were very comfortable and we slept great! Great place to stay to explore northern Iceland. Ragnar provided excellent instructions for everything in the apartment and it was one of the cleanest AirBnbs I’ve ever stayed in. We really enjoyed our time there!

Very nice stay, felt like staying in a museum. The room was very cosy and clean. Very close to restaurants and the town square. Great value for money!

Wir hatten das Vergnügen, in einer sauberen und großen, geschmackvoll eingerichteten Ferienwohnung zu übernachten. Die Wohnung war äußerst geräumig und sehr gepflegt, was sofort einen positiven Eindruck hinterließ. Die Einrichtung war stilvoll und bot eine angenehme Atmosphäre zum Entspannen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die hervorragende Lage: Die Boote für die Walbeobachtung sind bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Für den Weg zum Supermarkt wäre aber ein Auto ratsam. Insgesamt waren wir äußerst zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt und können diese Ferienwohnung uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Great stay, host welcomed us in and was very friendly. She also gave some local tips. The place was spacious and clean, the kitchen had everything you need to cook. Beds were comfy and towels and lots of soaps were provided too.

Björg is an amazing host! This was such a beautiful home! Everything about our stay was perfect. Extremely clean, breathtaking views of the property, wholesome home, close to all the sightseeing in the area. Laundry on site was great, beds were very comfortable, lots of sitting room and couches to relax and play cards! This stay was one of my favorite parts of our trip, I will always remember how great of a stay this was. We got a flat tire earlier in the day from our adventures but Björg and her husband saved the day by changing our tire for us! Such nice people! Overall our stay was absolutely perfect! We will 100% be back!!

LOVED this place! Apartment was beautiful and clean. We were provided with clear instructions on how to get in as well as photos of the entrances and where to park. The location was perfect with many places to eat right across the street, including a breakfast place that was very good. Was also provided with a list of recommendations which was helpful. It also wasn’t too loud there even with being right in downtown. I would definitely stay here again, I felt very comfortable and it had everything I needed. Thank you!

Very nice apartment. Very clean, cozy and had everything we needed. Cozy living room with a comfortable sofa. Comfortable beds and TV in the master bedroom. We enjoyed watching a bit of netflix after skiing. The kitchen is good and we cooked a few meals there. The instructions and communication with the host were great. Will definitely be looking to come back in the future!

Das Airbnb war genau wie beschrieben sehr sauber modern ausgestattet und der Host war sehr zuvorkommend und hat uns gute Tipps für die Umgebung mitgegeben. Klare Empfehlung bisher das beste Airbnb in Island.

The Berlin house is a great place to stay. It is very cozy and felt like home. Guðmundur was a good host. One regret I have is staying there with 8 other people as we had to keep quiet as there were other people staying in the same house. Awesome apartment none the less.

Excellent location with lots of space, great for a city getaway in Akureyri. Lots of restaurants close by and very easy to access.

아이슬란드에서 머문 숙소 중에 최고! 깔끔하고 밝고 인테리어가 좋아요. 토스터, 전자렌지가 있고 심지어 면봉, 화장솜까지 구비되있어요. 호스트의 섬세한 배려가 구석구석 느껴졌어요. 침대에 앉아서 보는 창 밖 풍경이 평롸롭고 이뻤어요. 자쿠지 빼고도 100점 만점에 100점인데, 자쿠지까지 있다니 여긴 최고에요!!!!!!!!!

Beautiful home in a breathtaking valley This was our first time traveling through Iceland, and we were truly impressed by the landscape around Eyjafjörður — absolutely stunning! The Vökuland house was a great starting point for various day trips, including whale watching in Húsavík. The apartment is very well equipped and feels more like a lived-in home than a typical hotel or rental. We only briefly met our host Sólveig, but the check-in and check-out process was smooth and easy. And we have to mention the sweet family dog — incredibly friendly and a surprisingly good soccer player! We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this place to others.

Beautiful, well situated accommodation just outside of Akureyri. The cooking facilities were excellent- a slim line dishwasher on holiday was a game changer 😅we stayed for four nights and were provided with some lovely teas and all the cooking essentials (oil/salt/pepper etc). We also walked over to the Hotel North for buffet breakfast one morning which was nice (cold continental selection, toast, cereal, waffle maker, good tea and coffee machine plus juices- really good!). The hot tub was perfect and very clean, good fixed temperature. We also had clean towels and bins emptied everyday which was a bonus luxury we weren’t expecting. Overall, a great place to stay!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic. We loved the house and it eas wonderful having the hot tub each evening. The Hestasport team was fabulous at answerig questions on the rettir and helping arrange activities. In 4 days we went horseback riding, helped with a aheeo sirting, went whitewater rafting, explored the area, and ate at seceral fantadtic local restaurants. The hotel steos away from our house serves amazing food. Every part of this stay was wonderful. We highly recommend!

La mejor anfitriona que hemos tenido en nuestra estancia a Islandia, super atenta y agradable. Nos íbamos a quedar solo una noche pero nos pilló un temporal de nieve y nos permitió quedarnos una noche extra completamente gratis. A la mañana siguiente del temporal vinieron a limpiar os el camino con el tractor y nos ayudaron a sacar el coche. No podemos estar más agradecidos con el trato que nos han dado.

Great location. A few minutes walk to center and harbor. 1 hour drive from Husvarik (whale watching and geothermal spa - both recommended). Apartment has everything you need. Beds are comfortable. Sharing 1 bathroom between 5 was interesting but we managed fine. Andreas made sure we were happy! Nice bars and restaurants nearby. We loved the Curry House and the best place for breakfast was Berlin.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay in this lovely family home in such a beautiful setting. It was very clean and tidy and Jonas was the perfect host, always attentive to our messages. We would definitely stay here again.
