Those who love fresh foods/drinks and who have already done the Namba district with big illuminated sign boards, join this tour which brings you to more the quiet but happening area of Osaka. You will get to explore Fukushima (just one stop from Osaka station!) area with all the street hidden bars and restaurants, eat and drink like locals. We will go to 2 bars/restaurants with "Today's Special" menu, what we local love since the price will be way reasonable than the chef's special "Omakase", though the foods are freshly prepared on that day all by scratch. I will always talk with the chef to let you know the story of their daily special and will pick the best choice just for you! So if you want to avoid just being a tourist, come and join my tour. For you to bring back with this food experience, I would also share a lot of stories and interesting differences about the history, culture and people of Japan!

Hi I'm Tamaki and Asami. I have a great passion for food and culture and I have experience working in Tokyo and Singapore as a cafe/restaurant manager. This tour was awesome! Asami was very knowledgeable, passionate about the area and showed us places we would never have found on our own, including a sake bar in a garage! The food was amazing and Asami and our fellow tour guests made this my favorite night in Osaka. Highly recommend if you are looking for something off the beaten path with good food and a great host.

I loved going into some of the more unexplored parts of Osaka! The food and conversations were amazing and we got to learn a lot of the culture. There were definitely places we would never be able to fine or see ourselves. Great having asami to be our tour guide.

I enjoyed my food and drink tour with Asami! There was one other couple on the tour with us, so it made for a very intimate experience. The two places we visited were great and packed with nothing but locals, which is what I prefer. After our tour the couple and my husband and I ended up grabbing a drink nearby as the neighborhood was really quaint and had a great variety of restaurants and bars. It was our first "official" night in Osaka and Asami made it very special! Would highly recommend taking this tour.
