体験できること

There are many ceremonies in Japan.
Do you know Toso(spice sake)? Toso celebrates the New Year on New Year's Day, prays for a safe year, and drinks with family.
Toso is liquor soaked with medicinal herbs.
The vessel is special because it is an important ceremony.
Toso is only available for the New Year. So I put a little sake in the bowl.
there are three bowls, so you will taste three types of sake.
Underage people and people who can not drink alcohol use water.
However, I will get you dressed in kimono before that.
Please choose your favorite kimono.
Kimonos that can be borrowed are posted on Instagram (rakue1).
You will be excited while dress up in kimono.
You will be surprised at the beauty of your kimono.
Let's make a wonderful kimono style just for you!
If you wear a kimono and drink sake, it will feel even more delicious.
Once you have a great kimono, take a picture.
There is a red umbrella as a prop for taking photos.
A new ninja sword has been prepared this year.
After that, please go sightseeing freely with kimono.
Please return by 9 pm.
This is a small house in the city.
It's an experience of only one group, so it's not crowded.
Convenient and quick access to popular spots.
For example, 15 minutes to Gion, 25 minutes to Kiyomizu- Temple and 30 minutes to Arashiyama and Fushimi-Inari.
If there are many people, please book a continuous time zone.

Kyoto has been the center of Japanese culture for a long time, and I was born and raised here, in Kyoto.
So there were many opportunities to see people in kimono.
In particular, when I saw my boss wearing a kimono at a New Year party at work, I became interested in the traditional and wonderful clothes “kimono”.
She was so beautiful and lovely! Since then, I have been engaged in kimono as a first-class consultant for over 20 years. I would like to introduce “Beauty of Kimono” to people around the world and you to have special experiences.
In Kyoto you can wearing kimono then go to tea ceremony, flower arrangement “ikebana”, go temples etc.
What a amazing time you can have in Kyoto!!
However how do you wear straight cloth? Don't worry, I will help you to have an unforgettable gorgeous day!
Looking forward to seeing you!!

We enjoyed our experience with Akemi very much as it is a very personalized experience. With Akemi, we felt very welcome and she made us very quickly at ease (actually from the first step in the house ;-) ). She was very understanding with our needs. Walking around Kyoto in kimono was an amazing experience and our kimonos, the way to arrange them and show them off was far superior to other shops for tourists. If we come back to Kyoto, I will definitely come back to see Akemi.

Been the first time in Osaka n Kyoto I was super late for my appointment. But my host Akemi had so much patience it’s out of this world. She was able to work around us. She made us feel at home. I would highly recommend her services. Very affordable but gives you the lifetime treatment u do desire. I would be back in summer.

Absolutely amazing experience! Akemi is so knowledgeable and yo u can tell she genuinely cares about this art. She handcrafts so many hairpieces, has an amazing eye for hair styling, and puts so much care into dressing you in your kimono. You get to pick and choose what colors you want to get your perfect vision and it's nice to be able to customize. Her English is great and she is such a kind and sweet host. The sake experience was so delicious as well. Small snacks were provided with the sake and the sake was so smooth and flavorful. At the end she provided us with parting gifts that she also handmade! Very thoughtful and cute. Please book in the future with Akemi!!

Akemi was incredibly helpful and kind. She welcomed us into her home and made sure we were comfortable and warm in our kimonos. She is very talented and gave us personalized gifts at the end of the experience. I am glad I chose this smaller more private experience rather opt for one of larger corporate deals.

Akemi welcomed us into her home and gave great insight into Kimono garments. We didn’t have any issues with communicating (via the phone or face-to-face). We visited in February and due to the cold weather we didn’t wear the Kimonos for long, but Akemi did take us on a short stroll to a local shrine to get some nice photos. It was a lovely experience!
