Throw, Slab, Pinch & Coil - Pottery is the perfect way to unwind. The Pottery experience day will give you the opportunity to try a little of everything. Start the day with ‘pinching’ a small pot using only your hands and a ball of clay. We’ll then explore hand building techniques making pots using slabs and coils. We will then go on to learning how to throw pots on the wheel. We will finish the day by showing you how to decorate your pots with coloured slip. Lunch, refreshments and all materials and firing are included. You will be informed when work is finished and ready for collection or postage (at cost) can be arranged.
A light lunch is provided and hot and cold drinks are available throughout the day
