You arrive to Borealis Point reindeer farm in a peaceful location in the countryside around 21:30. After your arrival, they are provided with long windproof jackets that they can wear over their own outdoor gear. Tour will start with a short walk through evergreen woods which leads to our reindeer fence. At the fence you can feed the reindeer and come back later, guide will tell stories about reindeer and reindeer husbandry. Walk continues towards our Laplander’s hut, along the way we have wooden sculptures of Finnish animals and the guide will tell stories about them. Next you'll move into our Laplander's hut where you are served blazed salmon with potato salad and white bread. For drinks warm juice, tea or campfire coffee. And of course, for dessert sweet Finnish berries in vanilla sauce. After dinner you go back outside to hopefully see the northern lights (we cannot guarantee northern lights). Outside there is a lean-to where you can sit by a campfire and hear more stories about history of the area and nature. While outside you have fun winter activities to do, like throwing suopunki (lasso game) and go sliding in the sleigh hill. The return transfer departs between 23:30 - 23:45 back to the city, depending on the situation with the Northern lights at that time.
