It is my endeavor to give you an experience of Mumbai that will be relishing to all your senses! 1. Behold the transformation Mumbai is definitely no Switzerland but there are parts of the city that are visually pleasing and picturesque. In this part of the tour we will learn and see how the city landscape transformed over the years and continues to do so. 2. Hear the heartbeat This part will familiarize you to the hustle and bustle of the city and sounds that make it distinctively Mumbai! 3. Aromas of the sub-continent Sure, you can capture the pictures and the sounds but this this something one has to experience first-hand. From the fishing harbors to the flower markets, this is where we nose-dive into the ocean of fragrances in Mumbai. 4. Odyssey of flavors Sweet, sour, pungent, salty, spicy and bland, Mumbai has it all. This part of the experience is where we see the wide spectrum of flavors that garnish the big and tiny kitchens of Mumbai. 5. The wind in our hair Transformed from a fishing island to the city of dreams, come with me and 'touch the spirit' of Mumbai! Note: For all journeys during the tour, I will offer you an inclusive Uber Service (https://m.uber.com/looking).
I am a founder of an early stage tech Start-up. Born and brought up in Mumbai, I have lived and travelled through Europe, UK, USA, Canada and some parts of Asia. More importantly I have travelled across the length and breadth of India, exploring it's rich cultural heritage. Through my travels and experiences I have arrived at the conclusion that Mumbai is a melting pot of many of India's traditions. Though it has its own sweet history, you can also take home a piece of India's history, art, music and more!
Lunch and Evening Snacks will be provided my me. Do let me know in case you have vegan or gluten-free requirements.
We will start from the south zone, head to mid-town and come back to south Mumbai. Here we will cover most of the prominent locations such as the Gateway of India, CSMT, Colaba and more. We will then launch into the heart of Mumbai - visiting some of the biggest food and utilities markets, traditional temples, open air laundromat, fort ruins, local transport and much more, before ending at the landmark queen's necklace.
We will be traveling by an air-conditioned car but the experience will include some walking. So do not carry anything, except your cameras and emergency money only.
