My activity places more emphasis on discussion and explaining the cultural elements about Japan. I will also share some information with you about the religions in Japan. - cooking process with an explanation of the 'umami' taste and the food culture in Japan. We will prepare the ingredients (cutting, and wrapping) and then enjoy lunch together. As my profession is not cooking but tour guiding so what we cook is simple home cooking meal and more cultural and historical introduction and guiding is involved. Japanese food culture is also deeply related to historical and architectural matters so I put more emphasis on academic explanation.
