During all of our experience you will have the opportunity to cook in nature, learn how to start campfires, navigate with maps, and most importantly enjoy Czech nature in a friendly atmosphere. The experience begins in Prague at the main train station where we embark on our journey via a 45-minute train ride to the village of Karlštejn. There we will visit one of the most beautiful and iconic Czech castles, Karlštejn, and tour the grounds. After visiting the castle we will enter the forest and hit the road to the famous Amerika and Mexico quarries. This a gorgeous area tucked away in the forest and far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We will cook lunch together on the way to Amerika (you can decide between having sausages, pasta, or couscous). We can also make the atmosphere more cheerful by playing guitar and singing some English songs together, and we can even teach you some Czech songs! After hiking around the quarries we will visit the small, traditional Czech village Mořina where we will take a bus back to Prague.
Hello adventurers! We are Václav, Jakub and Lukas, and we would love to share the beauty of Czech nature and culture with you through hikes in Czech forests and village visits. We are Boy Scout leaders with plenty of experience in the area and are able to help cook, navigate, and even administer first aid during our excursions. We love meeting foreigners and showing them what the Czech Republic and its people are really like, and what better way than by making new friends and exploring nature?
You can choose which meal we will cook on the fire. I will prepare everything for it.. Classic Czech snack included.
Transportation from Prague and back is also covered.
