London’s history and landmarks are world renowned, but few have experienced photographing these from the best spots. We will be walking through Covent Garden and along the Southbank, stopping on the way to capture my ‘Top 8’ photography spots in London. You will see some of London’s most famous landmarks (e.g. London Eye, Houses of Parliament) from the best perspectives - great for that postcard! You will also see a numerous hidden spots which make for the most unique and instagram-envy photos. On finishing the tour, we will head to a local coffee shop for excellent coffee, de-briefing on the tour, sharing photos and feedback - this is optional for guests . From adjusting height to varying aperture, I will be providing hand-on advice and teaching you to capture the perfect photo. No experience is necessary. The group size for the tour is limited to only 6 people which enables a more interactive teaching experience. This is the perfect way to see London, improve your photography skills and of course, have great coffee at the end.
I’ve lived in London for 10 years, and love to share my photography perspectives on this wonderful city. Having studied photography for 4 years, I work full-time and actively pursue photography in my spare time. Having visited many corners of the earth across 6 continents, I've learnt what makes the perfect photo to capture the moment. I shoot primarily with Canon SLR and Fuji fixed lens, but also not afraid to use the iPhone - many situations where this can outperform professional equipment! My aim is to host an experience that is friendly, interactive and memorable.
We will meet close to Covent Garden for our first awesome photo opportunity. We will walk along the River Thames, crossing it and visiting a number of hidden spots in the Waterloo / Southbank area. Strolling along the Southbank (you will see both sides of the River Thames), we will arrive at The Shard (London Bridge). On arrival we will then go to a nearby coffee shop for a photography feedback session - this is optional for guests.
As tour is outside, this will be somewhat weather dependent (no one wants to walk around in heavy rain!)
