You will be able to see and touch the whole production cycle of the extra-virgin olive oil, starting from the harvest until the oil mill. Furthermore, we will lunch together and, on this occasion, you will have the chance to taste the new oil and other Tuscan traditional flavours. On the market, it is possible to find hundreds of different qualities of oils and often, the price deceives us. It is difficult to evaluate which oil to purchase if you do not know the production process and the traditions that exist behind all of this.
I am a student attending the second year of “Agricultural sciences” at the University of Florence. Since I was a kid, I have developed a passion for agriculture and this is partly due to the fact that I grew up in the countryside, surrounded by olive trees and grapevines. As a result, last year, I decided to follow my passion and I inaugurated an agricultural holding. The main product is the extra-virgin olive oil. I offer the opportunity to know everything about the production of oil.
