Sitting around a table to celebrate a meeting or establish a connection is the central point of the Sicilian culture and social life. Together with a glass of good wine you'll have the best listening and sharing! We'll meet at the farm and have a coffee or tea, then a look at the veggie garden to see what it has to offer. Back to the kitchen, it's time to put our hands in the flour and prepare some fresh pasta and a "Piadina" (flat bread) . Now it's time to taste our Natural Red Wine and finally sit all together around the table to enjoy our work! The meal will end with a traditional dessert followed by a taste of our home made Rosolio. INGREDIENTS: We produce much of what is offered on our table, from onions to oregano, from olive oil to wine, from legumes to veggies all our products are totally eco-friendly and grown in a natural way. Here you will find only seasonal food and what we don't produce, we buy straight from local producers. LOCATION: The farm is located between Etna and Taormina in a super panoramic hill facing both Etna and the Sea. According to the season/weather we'll eat outdoor or indoor. We are Angelo and Cristina, an Architect and a tailor made tour designer\leader, who dropped their jobs to run the Eco Farm “Frutteto Fogliarino” and live a simple life fully surrounded by nature and good food. Our cooking experience comes from our families and our country background. Good food has always been a big passion, so we decided to run an organic farm where to produce and satisfy mostly all our needs. Now we produce a range of organic food from Extra Virgin Olive Oil to Etna Red Wine, from spices to any kind of vegetables and fruits. What we don't produce we buy locally and....we are proudly "seasonarian"!

You'll taste our home made Natural Etna Red Wine and our Limoncello. Fruit juice will be provided for kids.
We'll provide aprons, tools and the know-how so you can easily make your own pasta and Piadina once you go back home :))
The farm is on a super panoramic hill surrounded by Olive and fruit trees. We have a spectacular veranda facing the Jonian Sea and Mount Etna where, from May to October and according to the weather condition, we use to eat while the cooking class will be held in the kitchen. Piedimonte Etneo, the closer village, is just 20 minutes driving distance from the well know Taormina and on the way to "Etna North" and the famous "Strada dei Vini"

We'll focus on preparing "easy meal" based on fresh Pasta, organic EVOO, ingredients from the garden, Etna Natural Red Wine. In October\November we are harvesting olives and have "Olio Novello" so the experience may include a guided tour at the "frantoio" to assist the whole squeezing process.
