During our 3 hour - tour we are walking through the old town along the most unbeaten paths, looking not only for its old history and incredible art treasures but hidden corners, typical instagrammable spots and secret shops that only locals know. We will visit unrevealed churches and palaces , admiring paintings and frescoes, talking about local art, traditions, curious stories of the past and the present. We will taste some local healthy products: Italian coffee, genoese focaccia, traditional ice cream, home made chocolate. The tour will include a delicious Italian "aperitivo" in one of the "Rolli" palaces, an ancient mansion with its own unique atmosphere. So...with my Experience I'd like you to visit Genoa from a different point of view and off the beaten tracks, enjoying the Italian lifestyle at its best. All food is carefully chosen and of high quality and will be a perfect genoese dinner. Let me know in advance if you have any food restrictions.
Hello everybody, I’m Antonella. Born and raised in Genoa, I’m currently working as a teacher but I’ve worked as a local Licensed Tourist Guide for more than 25 years. I think that meeting different people and cultures makes us better and more open minded humans, everybody with a unique and special background. That's why I've always loved travelling, studying languages and decided to be an Airbnb host. I'm a SuperHost now so, if you are looking for a comfortable place to stay, contact me. Being a Licensed Tourist Guide allows me to take you around completely according to the Italian laws.

Tickets for the Spianata Castelletto Lift.
Starting from Palazzo Ducale, the city heart, we are wandering through the old town discovering churches, paintings and remains from the past hidden in its narrow "carrugi" alleys. We are stopping by traditional shops tasting typical specialties as the genoeses do. Taking pictures in some secluded but fascinating spots will enrich your local experience. The tour ends up the panoramic Castelletto hill that we will reach by lift.
It's important to know that we will walk for about 3 hours (included some rests) with ups and downs and steps. In some churches you may be asked not to wear shorts or singlets.
