Walk with me and let me introduce you to the topics that Amsterdam is famous for through real stories of my diverse and amazing fellow Amsterdammers. The best thing is that each of them is embodying a famous theme of our city. A cannabis shop owner. A sex worker. A mobile bike mechanic. A brilliant entrepreneur with an unusual business. A houseboat owner. And more! 2 of them you will also meet. Who you meet depends on their availability. One day you might e.g. meet the cannabis shop owner and the bike mechanic, the other day the sex worker and the houseboat owner. I'll guide you into the living room of my city and share their stories at amazing locations which are important in their lives, that you can't find on your own. By the end of the experience, you'll have explored our most beautiful residential area, "The Jordaan", the vibrant city center and the Red Light District. You'll have sampled a slice of our local culture not just through facts and figures, but real-life stories of my fellow Amsterdammers. 2 of them you will have met! You'll understand how history lives on in us and feel what it means to be an Amsterdammer. You'll know the people and live the city. Come and discover just Who Is Amsterdam. Because the people make the city.

If a date is booked out/unavailable please send me a message and I will try to find a solution! The Humans of Amsterdam Experience of my company "Who Is Amsterdam Tours" was listed as one of the "Best Things To Do In Amsterdam in 2019" by Lonely Planet. Join me and discover just Who Is Amsterdam! Hello beautiful people! I Am-sterdam. I'm Alexandra. Polish by blood, German by nationality and Dutch by nature. I was a Heineken sales professional who drank too much beer and had an idea; to collaborate with Amsterdam's School of Storytelling and bring you the Humans of Amsterdam Experience. Not your typical walking tour, but an opportunity to connect to Amsterdam through beautiful storytelling and straight to it's heart - it's people.
I hate to spoil the surprise, but we'll focus on the neighbourhoods of Jordaan, Central Station and the Red Light District. Along the way, we'll stop at 8 special places which are important to the featured Amsterdammers. Halfway through, we'll enjoy Amsterdam's best apple pie at a traditional, family-owned brown cafe. At the end we'll toast with a great glass of craft beer (or something else if you prefer) at Amsterdam's pioneering microbrewery
