I think art enriches people's minds, and that by drawing pictures we can heal ourselves. I was born in Gunma prefecture, where the culture of "animism"—the belief that natural objects, natural phenomena, and the universe itself possess a soul—has remained since ancient times. This has influenced a big part of my life, as well as my art. Most of my paintings are linked to Japanese culture and beliefs presented in shrines, nature, and relationships between us and our ancestors. In this workshop, we'll visit the temple where I always feel a positive energy. After that, we'll take brunch and start meditation. And then, I will introduce my studio. Following your inspiration, you'll begin to paint and create an art piece.
I began painting when I was three years old. I've been an artist for 20 years since graduating from an art university. I create art that provides emotional experiences with a focus on the ties that people have with each other. I had a solo exhibit in New York in 2014. I've been praised by Her Imperial Princess and I received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Ambassadors of Palestine and Oman in 2015.
Painting brush I'll also provide the paper and canvas.
We'll meet in Tokyo with many shrines and temples. we will take brunch and show you a temple with really positive energy. Then at my studio, I will give you instructions before painting. When you finish painting you can put your art work on the wall of your room. If you watch the picture, you will feel the positive feelings such as happiness. You can take your art piece back with you. It is a great souvenir to remind you of this experience.
You will draw with Sumi ink(black). Please refrain from have an alcoholic beverage. Regarding the project schedule, I can direct sent you on my gallery site. https://araifuzuki.com/
