The Schoolroom @ Barbrook

This is the original Barbrook schoolroom built by the Methodists in 1870 - a large airy groundfloor space with tall windows looking out across the valley. It is now a romantic hideaway for two - an elegant but comfortable open-plan apartment featuring log stove, large bed, and window seats, plus underfloor heating, modern well-equipped kitchen and bathroom, and smart TV. It's an ideal base from which to explore all the pleasures of Exmoor by the sea, and your hosts are just next door if needed.

Underfloor heating and a cosy wood-burner. There is an EV charger at the barn. Beaches and moorland all within a half hour drive. Being within a working farm, sadly we cannot allow dogs.

Woodleigh is a pretty, comfortable cottage, in its own quiet, beautiful private garden just a few minutes' walk from Dulverton's shops, awarding-winning restaurants and pubs. It is just steps from the start of the South West Coast Path and a perfect location for a family holiday. Walks from the front door give quick access to the Exmoor National Park on North Hill.
