Fomos 4 famílias com filhos passar uma semana na Quinta da Paz em agosto/24 e avaliamos muito bem o espaço. A casa tem muito espaço com 4 dos 5 quartos com casa-de-banho privada, sala de estar muito ampla, cozinha e sala de jantar também grandes. O espaço exterior é muito agradável com imenso espaço de relva à volta da piscina e com árvores de frutos e sombras. A quinta tem um galinheiro onde foi possível os miúdos tirarem os ovos para cozinhar e tem uma égua linda (está num espaço amplo mas “vedado” que em teoria não sai). O sr. João que nos recebeu e o sr. Carlos que é o proprietário são pessoas 5 estrelas e que responderam a tudo e ajudaram em tudo. Recomendo e a repetir

Foi uma linda experiência com os nossos miúdos e o nosso animal de estimação. Enfrente de uma lagoa espectacular e um espaço que tem de tudo, mesmo a casa seja pequena entram 6 pessoas cómodamente

Gostámos muito da estadia no monte. A casa é super confortável com todas as comodidades. Aproveitámos a piscina e o espaço exterior. O Tiago foi muito prestável e solícito.

We had a wonderful time at Catarina’s place. The cottage was peaceful and quiet and had all things necessary for a relaxing stay. The kitchen was extremely well-equipped, which we appreciated so much as we enjoyed cooking our meals. The pool was our favourite spot during the day and the huge estate allowed for gorgeous evening walks. We loved having the dogs around and getting some cuddles in. :) We would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for a tranquil vacation, and we are hoping to return ourselves as well!

Fernanda’s place is very peaceful. You walk in and feel right at home. She has everything you could need. We sat on the patio and drank wine until dark. (That she so sweetly provided.)

We really enjoyed the house and property. Great host! The host was kind enough to leave some freshly baked bread and some nice cheese, as well as a bottle of wine and oranges to make fresh orange juice. The oranges came from the orange grove on the property, they were delicious. I’ve typically found a lack of pots and pans in most Airbnb’s, that was not the case for this airbnb, the kitchen was fully stocked with anything you might need to prepare your own meals, as well as enough plates and cups. The property is very rural, but easy to get around to nearby towns. The furniture was comfortable, we enjoyed using the fireplace, that was definitely a plus, especially on chilly nights. The patio was great as well, it gets a good amount of sun through the day, so it was nice to sit and relax while breathing fresh air and enjoying the view. We enjoyed walking the property, the views are really lovely. I absolutely recommend other guests to stay here and enjoy a bit of country living in this wonderful home.

Deze accommodatie kunnen we zeker aanbevelen! Het is een charmant huisje dat deel uitmaakt van een oud klooster. We vonden er alles waar we naar op zoek waren: een weelderige tuin met fruitbomen waarvan we mochten plukken, een open haard, een goed uitgeruste keuken en een terras met bbq. Miranda ontving ons hartelijk en heeft het huisje met zorg ingericht, er ontbrak niets. Bedankt voor deze ervaring Miranda!

Lovely farm very close to town. Location made it easy to go and come. Beautiul pool and garden (although it was too chilly to enjoy the pool). Great fenced area for my dog to easily run off leash. Easy to sleep well with cozy linen. Hot shower with strong water pressure was special. Eduardo was very responsive and gives great tours of his farm and its history.

O Cantinho Monte das Mimosas é um achado numa região maravilhosa do Alentejo. O espaço está muito agradável, cheio de pormenores de bem-estar. A piscina foi uma mais-valia nos dias de 40 graus, tal como o ar condicionado em todos os quartos e na sala. O alpendre com uma zona de estar, uma grande mesa de refeições e ainda uma cama com vista para as estrelas, não podia ser mais perfeito! Obrigada Rosalina, pela simpatia no acolhimento e a flexibilidade na marcação. Não tenho dúvidas de que vamos voltar e por mais tempo!

Spectacular location with incredible views. Enjoyed the beautiful views at this serene location. Accommodations were very spacious and felt like home!

Celia and Sílvia are amazing hosts. They answered all our questions before we arrived, welcomed us warmly, and even had a wonderful gift waiting for us. Throughout our stay, they were always available whenever we needed anything. Sílvia shared the fascinating, centuries-old history of "Monte Mantacães" and their vision for its future. The house is excellent—beautifully renovated while preserving its traditional charm, and very comfortable. It’s spacious enough for a family of four and has all the amenities one could wish for. The surroundings are also fantastic, perfect for peaceful walks, stunning sunsets, and a lovely spot to enjoy your morning coffee or relax in the afternoon. A definite 5-star stay that we highly recommend!

O Sr. Jerónimo é um anfitrião impecável, super simpático e acessível, tendo estado sempre disponível! A zona exterior é maravilhosa e super confortável, tanto para o convívio como para relaxar junto à natureza. O espaço interior foi recentemente remodelado, tendo todas as comodidades necessárias. Spent the weekend with some friends at Casa do Monte and the experience was great. The house is charming and the surrounding very peaceful. Great to disconnect from work. Diogo was also very nice and communicative. Will definetly recommend and consider for other occasions.

A casa muito limpa, organizada, com tudo o que necessitamos na cozinha e no resto da casa Os donos são simpatiquíssimos e muito prestáveis! Sentimo-nos em casa e os nossos patudos também! Tem uma área enorme, a piscina é óptima!

We rented the Herdade for two nights for a family reunion in April. It was perfect, providing separate bedroom suites for everyone (we were 10 people). The very large living space with a pool table, several sitting areas, game table was wonderful for being together, as well as the large dining table. The only down-side this time of year was the temperature in the bedrooms as the heating was not very strong in them, though it was comfortable in the living areas. We hope to go back some day in warmer weather to take advantage of the lovely pool outside and outdoor dining table.

Un endroit exceptionnel par sa grande maison traditionnelle typique, des coins pour que chacun soit au calme, son environnement vegetallisé et isolé en pleine campagne, une belle piscine individuelle, des animaux, des figuiers… Peu de wifi mais très bien pour les vacances !

Numa região ainda com muito por descobrir, o Monte Poejo apresenta-se como um retiro protegido e agradável. Um espaço amplo, adequado a brincadeiras de crianças e receptivo a cães.

Wonderful villa to use as the base for exploring the area. The house is fully equipped for anything you need, the bbq grill by the pool was super nice and on top of it all we had a welcome basket which demonstrates nicely how the hosts care about their guests. We’d come back without hesitation.

Maria’s house was perfect for our holiday. 15 mins into Grândola in one direction, 15 minutes to the beautiful beaches of the Atentejo coast in the other, surrounded by the forest of cork oaks and stone pines it was idyllic. Maria is a wonderful host, super-friendly and helpful. The house and pool offer an idyllic retreat!

As fotos não fazem jus à casa, é simplesmente maravilhosa! Excedeu todas as expectativas! Uma casa preparada para receber todo o tipo de pessoas! Em cada canto há um promenor incrivel! Simplesmente fantastico!

We enjoyed our stay fully. The host was most helpful, but always seemed sensitive to not intruding into our space. We are both interested in agriculture in general, and we learned a great deal from our host about the agricultural practices of the region. He also made excellent recommendations about where to eat and we followed his suggestion. They were right on. The meals, the service and the settings were excellent. The accommodations were in old farm buildings and they made us feel we were stepping back in time. In all, we really enjoyed our stay and look forward to our next visit. We recommend this remarkable place most highly. You won’t regret it. We promise.
