This is our second time staying with Barb. The house is located in a lovely neighbourhood a minute from a boardwalk. Barb's house is very cosy and has everything you need to feel like home. Barb is a very nice person and quick to respond. That's why we came back this year. We would be happy to go back and stay at Barb's house again.

Barb is such wonderful host, she really make us feel like home away from home. The place is very nice, modern and cozy just like it said. The house got very thing you need and beyond. Very nice location, all restaurants, park, ocean front and major supermarket in 5 min driving. We will stay there again. Thanks Barb fro such wonderful hospitality.

Lovely, extremely comfortable family home, right by the boardwalk in Summerside. Our icecream obsessed toddler loved being a stone’s throw from Sunny’s Dairy Bar. Barb was super easy to communicate with & kept in touch before and during our stay. The house was very well equipped and we really appreciated touches such as milk in the fridge which made things easier when travelling with young children. We also highly recommend a visit to New Glasgow Lobster Suppers for a delicious seafood meal. You will want to wear elasticated waistband though!

My husband and I travel to PEI several times a year to see our daughter and grandchildren. We rent homes in the spring, fall and winter. We have rented homes in Miscouche, Sundbury Cove, Stanley Bridge, Charlottetown, Stratford and Souris. We had been looking for a central location near downtown Summerside this December 2017 to minimize the winter commute which can be difficult and sometimes impossible. And we found everything we needed and wanted and more at Barb's place, just two minutes from our daughter. What a coup!! Barb, a beautiful woman with joie de vivre and a sense of excitement about meeting people and sharing the best of PEI and her charming accommodation, met us at her house. The house reflects Barb's personality. The house, or I prefer, home, welcomes you in the door to a bright, airy, open concept, meticulously planned use of space. Two beautiful bedrooms, cozy and fun. The master suite has an old fashioned bathtub in the bedroom, with bottles of bubble bath (my favourite) and acres of hot water. The bathroom has a large glassed in shower, and a two for one toilet/bidet. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and is smart looking and well laid out. The touch screen Kourig Coffee maker, complete with a bowl of delicious coffees made every morning delicious. In summer months, Sunny's ice cream is a couple of minutes walk away. The boardwalk is around the corner. If you follow the boardwalk for a couple of minutes you will arrive at the Shipyard --they have inside and outside dining and a lovely terrance with light bulbs strung across for ambiance and views of the Atlantic. Two minutes further along is the downtown core with banks and a cool bookstore and a fairly new restaurant "Open Eats." If you get a chance to go there, ask for the loft. They can manage a table for 4 in the loft and you can look down on the diners from your perch in the sky. The restaurant is quirky and fun and the food is delicious. A great coffee shop "Samuels" is on the corner of Central and Water streets. Highly recommend. All this to say that Barb's place is central to so many wonderful spots, all walkable. And if you don't wish to walk, there is always ample parking in town. We stayed at Barb's just before Christmas. She had a Christmas tree decorated for us, a nativity scene on the mantel (over the electric fireplace!!) and a dazzling tree lit on the front porch. Fat snowflakes fell the night before we left, completing the perfect Christmas picture. Barb's gracious, thoughtful, bubbly personality made us feel like family. The house was terrific. Barb was terrific. And we can hardly wait to stay with her again.

Barb was an amazing host, she made sure we had everything we needed and more! The location was perfect you could see the water from the front window through the yard across the street. It was so relaxing and the home was even more beautiful in person! The perfect place to stay for a PEI trip by far!! Close to everything but yet a peaceful little spot to call home. Loved every minute I was there, and look forward to going back soon!

Barb's home is in a great location. There is so much within walking distance to enjoy. Barb goes the extra mile to provide everything you may need in her place....and then some.....truly a fantastic hostess and lovely home.

We were very impressed with our stay. It’s within walking distance of everything you need in Summerside. Sebastian is a great host! We would highly recommend this spot for any couples or small families. In our down time, we also enjoyed the small collection of DVDs available. The building is also very quiet which is nice! We would definitely come back!

Perfect place for a cozy night in Summerside!

Sebastian’s place was clean, easily accessible by stairs/elevator, is very centrally located in Summerside, and he is a great host! We met him to get the keys, and he offered us numerous suggestions of sites to visit and restaurants to try. We had a fantastic time, and would absolutely stay again. Thanks Sebastian!

Sebastian's place is quaint, cute and comfortable. It had all that we needed. The bed and linens felt great. The coffee maker worked well. The back porch view is pleasant.

Sebastian’s place was homey and incredibly clean. A nice little bachelor pad in the beautiful and quaint town of Summerside. Sebastian himself was a wonderfully gracious host and was very easy to communicate with. He even took the time to show me around Summerside and point out all the local hotspots. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay and I will be sure to use his place again the next time I find myself in PEI.

Wow. This place is undersold. The view is superb, as it offers an unobstructed view of the water. The cottage is cozy and unassuming, with exposed rafters and joists adding so much charm. It is a very welcoming and enjoyable space, with games tables and board games tucked under tables for your evening enjoyment. Or perhaps use the fire-pit out back, to watch the stars with the sounds of the surf in the background. The kitchen--very large--is superbly appointed, with every type of pot, pan, dish and utensil you would ever need to cook a large meal or even host guests. In short, this place is a great value and I recommend it without any reservations.

Great location very close to summerside and a short drive to Cavendish .Having a washer there was great as we were there for 5 days ,plenty of towels,utensils a complete kitchen .nice deck and a beautiful sunset

Spacious cottage on Malpeque Bay with everything you need. Beautiful setting with great sunsets. Easy access to all major roads and Summerside was a 10 minute drive away.

You can expect a really nice cottage on the ocean with all the expectations of an old family cottage. Everything you need is in house including entertainment with board games and cards. The location is great being off the beaten trail but close to grocery stores and Summerside itself for great eats. Perfect place for a couple or the family. Thanks again.

This cottage is very comfortable place to stay. Well taken care of and well stocked with everything needed to enjoy your stay. We spent 7 beautiful nights there and would like to return next summer. Amy was very welcoming and responsive when needed. The place was exactly as described. It was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed while in Summerside. The location was walking distance to the water, parks (kids), and driving distance to grocery stores and other amenities. Altogether a very relaxing and beautiful place to stay.

After long days of travelling to get to the island, it was great to be able to unpack and be able to walk to what we needed. The boardwalk is right at the end of the street, and we were able to explore at low tide. The racetrack was around the corner and we enjoyed dinner and some races. The four of us felt at home right away.

Our stay at Judy's place was delightful in every way. Her home is intuitively laid out, with everything we needed at our fingertips. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen equipped with all we required for our 4-night stay, and we felt very safe in this quiet neighborhood so accessible to downtown Summerside and to the waterfront. We will certainly want to stay again when we're back this way.

We had a lovely stay at Judy's home! Her home is at a convenient location with grocery stores and shops nearby. The beach is just a short walk away. Judy was very helpful and responded promptly with any questions we had. We had all the essentials we needed and had a very comfortable stay at her place. I would definitely recommend staying at Judy's place to anyone planning to visit PEI!

I can't say enough good things about Judy's place! It is exactly as pictured. The bed is so comfortable! The house is cozy and welcoming. Very clean with lots of amenities. Close to the waterfront for nice walks on the boardwalk. Everything you need is a short drive away. I'd return in a heartbeat.

Sam is amazing, and the location of the cottage was perfect! The beach located just a couple blocks away, despite seeming unapproachable at high tide, is a gold mine of treasures at low tide. My 2 teenage daughters and our dog had a blast exploring and found lots of sea glass and beautiful shells. We highly recommend staying here and enjoying the beauty of the island from this wonderful cottage. Oh, and loved the super friendly neighbor!

We really enjoyed our stay at Sam's cottage. She was great at communicating with us before our trip and even let us check in early when we arrived ahead of schedule. The cottage is quite large. It has more than enough room for my fiancé and I. Everything we needed was provided which was great when travelling from Ontario. The location was very central and allowed us to do many trips. We would visit again!

Perfect little cottage in an awesome location. We had bad weather but were close enough to Summerside to find lots of things to do. We saw the little red fox and the harvest moon. The cottage had everything we needed and more and was much larger than we expected. We will go back.

Beautiful, will kept, clean, quiet area. If you are looking to relax this is a spot to visit. Big patio with great bbq and washer and dryer there to use was a bonus. 30 mins away from all the tourist activity but 5 mins away from all amenities. Fire place with wood and everything provided was lovely. Would love to go back again!!!!!!

Thank you to our hosts for a wonderful place to gather as we attended our son’s wedding! We really enjoyed the hot tub and games room. The home is quiet, welcoming, and well suited for families with little ones! Summerside is a beautiful city and central to many great places to visit.

This home is Summerside is a great location for exploring PEI. The house has lots of space, a great REC room and was very clean. The neighborhood is really quiet and a walking distance from the waterfront area of Summerside. We would definitely recommend staying here!

great place, amazing games room and entertainment system. no air conditioning and one open concept bedroom. a lot of personal photos and touches. kid friendly!

We recommend the house, which was spacious and clean. It was useful to be close to almost everything (supermarket, restaurants, etc...). The playroom was great; we had a lot of fun in the evening even without going outside. :) Fast communication with the host was also really appreciated. This home is beautiful, impeccably clean with lots of entertainment options including a pool table air hockey table and a hot tub. We would definitely stay there again if we were in PEI . The hosts were responsive and very easy to deal with I would definitely recommend it

We really enjoyed our short stay at Barb's place in Summerside. Summerside is a quiet town while still having all the amenities you'd need such as grocery stores. The house is small, but was the perfect size for the two of us (and with the second bedroom would certainly have enough space for a small family as well). We found the kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed for cooking at home. We also appreciated having access to Netflix and WiFi. Lastly, we loved that Barb was kind enough to enter the unit before our arrival and open windows to cool the place down. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a place to stay in PEI that has quiet surroundings but is close to attractions in surrounding towns.

Barb is a top notch host with fast and thoughtful responses. The house was in spotlessly clean condition. When we arrived, she kept the fans on and windows open so that the house would be in comfortable temperature. The house is small but perfect size for a small family visiting P.E.I. The location was close to downtown but tucked away in a very quiet neighbourhood which was great at night (Dead quiet even with windows open next to the bed). The house is kept in a really great condition, I did not find anything broken or malfunctioning. I would wholeheartedly recommend staying at Barb's house when visiting Summerside.

The house is in a quiet neighbourhood and it's only a short walk downtown. Barb stopped by to meet us and check everything was alright. She was friendly and welcoming and always responded very quickly to messages. We would definitely stay here again should we return to Summerside.

Lovely little home, renovated well with ample space for a small family or two couples. The location is amazing! Close to many beaches, Cavendish, charolettown, bridge, and all Summerside has to offer. Beds are comfortable. Washer, dryer and big bathroom is a huge plus if you're staying a while, or have been on the road a while. Lovely home, and host!

Paul's place was very clean, and true to photos. Paul was patient as well when we were held up and arrived late, and responded to texts throughout our stay. The wifi worked well. No air conditioner, but the fan was enough, even through a heat wave.

hello I stayed in Paul's place for 2 nights with my mom an dog. I will start with the positives. it is a good location right next to the boardwalk and I was able to take a nice run near the lighthouse. walking distance to the shops and good restaurants! another plus my dog was allowed. For some of the negatives. NO coffee pot ! my 1st air bnb ever that does have coffee maker. Also the AC does not work. Not many towels provided. No bar soap for shower. The bedroom is small with NO side tables next to the bed so it's a pain if you want a water or coffee or to even plug in your phone. also no extra blankets to use for the couch if you wanted someone to sleep there. I also found it weird that Paul never met us. even tho he lives in the area. that was also a 1st. But over all location is nice but way over priced look around 1st. for our 3rd night we went to a inn in a couple towns over.

This was a great find! Everything was new and very clean, and the bed was super comfy! If you enjoy walking, this is the perfect location. The boardwalk is very close and walking it brings you to some great dining and neat little stores! We will stay here again!!

Hello, I was attending a course at the Marine Institute for a week in Summerside. This place with a bicycle was a perfect spot, I was a comfortable 8 minute ride from the campus, restaraunts and shopping. The place itself was very comfortable and relaxed. I would recommend this stay.

Wow great location. We booked for a zz top concert at credit union place. 2 minute walk.... close to everything else we wanted to do as well so no taxis needed. Walked everywhere

Looking for a relaxing stay in PEI? Then, Summerside is the place to be. Shirley's place is perfectly located on a quiet street mid-way between the waterfront and the major shopping area. From Summerside, an enjoyable 1 hour drive and you can be exploring the western part of PEI (including Mimigenash and nearby Skinner's Pond and Stompin' Tom). Charlottetown is a very scenic 50 minute drive to the east. Yankee Beach and Cousin's Beach (best kept secrets in PEI) are no more than 25 minutes away. We came for what we thought would be a short holiday and then ended up buying some property on the island. WOW !

My son and I were luck enough to stay at Shirley’s apartment for a week in July. It was just what we needed. We immediately felt at home upon our arrival. The apartment was exactly as shown on Airbnb, but even better in real life. Clean, quiet, cozy. Since Shirley was on vacation herself that week, she left a detailed information packet with everything we needed, from the wifi password to suggestions for local lobster. (She was also available to answer any questions remotely.) We were close enough to walk to a local playground for my son, and to local shops (for me). If I am ever back in PEI, I would love to stay at Shirley’s again! Thank you, Shirley!

A wonderful little basement apartment with all the amenities and more! The space was immaculate and the bed was very comfortable. A great space for those interested in seeing PEI as it has access to most parts of the island with just a short drive. I would most definitely stay here again!

Wonderful hosts, great one bedroom cottage right on the water (just what we were looking for) and perfect location (not too far from anything we needed, yet also not too close) We are hoping to return to PEI in the near future and will not hesitate to get back in touch with Margaret and Darren.

Staying at Margaret and Darren's cabin was a wonderful experience. They added personal touches to welcome us when we first arrived. Check in instructions were messaged to us on the day of our stay and were very easy to follow. The bathroom and kitchen were stocked full with everything we needed, and their responses to any of our questions were quick and thorough. They had a house manual with recommendations for the surrounding area, including good spots to search for sea glass. We enjoyed exploring the beach and playing lawn games which were also available to us. Would recommend and stay again in a heartbeat.

From the second you pull up to this dreamy location you're captivated! It is literally steps from the red sandy beached ocean. An adorable cottage & when you open the front door you are welcomed with personal touches. We cannot say enough good things or rate this high enough! A true treasure !

Very cute cottage right on the water, stunning area in the fall. The cottage had everything we needed as well as some personal touches to make you feel very at home and welcomed. The only thing we would have changed was to maybe have a TV. Other than that, I hope to return in the summer. Amazing hosts!

Margaret's cottage was fantastic. Right by the beach, and an average 30 minutes anywhere of interest on PEI, it's the perfect location if you want a nice quiet beach getaway with the choice of in-town or tourist-y adventures. Not only was the place sparkling when we arrived, but we were well taken care of throughout our visit, and questions were answered promptly. We were even given hints for beach glass hunting.

Margaret’s place is a quintessential PEI cottage with fantastic views of and easy access to a beautiful red sandy beach. Margaret’s hospitality is unparalleled, and I recommend her beachfront cottage to anyone staying in the area!

Nice and polite, clean and organized.

We loved Sherry and Clarence's cozy cottage, which is one of a small cluster of cottages nestled along a little lane at the shore's edge. The shoreline isn't great for swimming, but is wonderful for strolling, photography, and beach combing. The spot is very peaceful, and the cozy cottage is tiny and perfect for a couples getaway or an artist's retreat. We especially loved the large windows in the main room which made it great for an art studio. Thank you Sherry and Clarence for a wonderful stay! We will definitely come again.

The house was our home away from home. Everything and more was there for us. The location was good for travel to areas west and east on the Island. The view was great and so quiet and relaxing. The mosquitoes can be a pain at dusk and early morning but were manageable.

This is a wonderful old character home located in the outskirts of Summerside. The setting is quiet and picturesque. It's only a short drive into Summerside for whatever essentials you may need for your stay. Melanie was a great host.

Linda has a nice, clean, spacious place on the outskirts of Summerside. It's the first floor of her family's cozy home, which means there's excellent space for a couple like us. There's a wee bit of noise coming from overhead, and we can imagine they could hear us as well, but that's what you get with attached places. Linda and Fred are kinda new at the whole Airbnb thing, but they were kind and provided guidance when we needed it!

Linda was gracious and offered sand toys for our kids to use. Nice spot if you find yourself in summerside.

Linda is a warm and generous host, we were extremely happy with our stay. There were a few very minor hiccups, but Linda responded graciously and promptly which made our time in Summerside stress-free and relaxing. The accommodations were sparkling clean and very comfortable. Linda also gave us great tips and directions for finding local restaurants and points of interest. The location is excellent, just a few minutes drive to downtown Summerside and the harbor as well as close to grocery stores and shopping. It's only a half hour drive from the Confederation bridge and less than an hour's drive to Charlottetown. I would definitely recommend Linda's AirBnB!

Great spot, very close to Summerside. Lovely home

My family and I stayed here and the whole experience has been above and beyond what I could have imagined. I can't describe how excited the children were to see all that there is to do here for children. The space is huge and full of toys and things for the kids to do. There are huge play structures, a trampoline, ride on toys, sand boxes, a play room, ect. As adults, we had just as much fun! we arrived to a lovely bottle of wine and chocolates. The house is beautiful and clean. The way it has been decorated makes you feel like you are truly on holiday and being spoiled. The location is great as well. It is also close to a beautiful beach. We stopped by Thunder Cove Beach and swam in the ocean then explored the beach. Debbie was quick to respond and answered any questions I had. She went above and beyond. I would definately recommend staying here.

Debbie was an excellent host. She was quick to respond and the house had everything we needed. Summerside is at a good location not too far from the confederation bridge. We were able to explore many sights of the middle part of the island in the two days that we stayed.

We loved so many things! The space was bright and clean and well decorated. There is a view of the ocean and access to the waterfront. There were so many extras such as snacks, and toiletries, and a map to the best place to watch the sunset. Elaine and Dave are friendly and helpful, Dave suggested a steakhouse we enjoyed. We recommend this property to everyone!

It was perfect. David & Elaine thinks to everything, it is a home away from home. It was very clean, David took the time to show us where we can go to see and appreciate the ocean. What a lovely little spot. Having the ocean lull us to sleep was amazing. The care taken in the upkeep and presentation of the suite was sublime. We felt so welcome, we'd return in a heart beat.

Comfortable bed and living quarters with tasteful decor that just puts you at ease . Everything you need in the kitchen. There is a new BBQ with private patio and nice furniture to sit on. Susan and Paul are very welcoming and generous hosts and the apartment is absolutely beautiful. It’s located about a twenty minute drive from most everything we wanted to do on the island, overlooking green farmland. We had our own patio where we were visited by hummingbirds each morning. The space also includes a large and lovely kitchen and a bathroom with a bathtub. The bed was so comfortable and the area so quiet we slept better than we had in months! We had a great stay and only wish we could have stayed longer.

We had a wonderful time and would go back tomorrow if we could. Susan and Paul's home was beautiful and we enjoyed having the use of the entire space to relax, cook a tasty meal and enjoy all those extra touches. Thanks again Susan and Paul.

Susan's place was a great place to stay for our trip to PEI. Its a quiet location in the countryside with easy driving access to all the beaches and Charlottetown. A well equipped and nicely furnished full sized apartment for two people with an excellent porch and barbecue area (really nice barbecue). Would definitely stay here again.

This home is immaculate - so clean, inviting, and in a beautiful part of PEI. Sue and her husband are so welcoming and provided us with our own barbecue and sitting area outside. The house is beautiful and the bed was extremely comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

The house is centrally located but in a quiet relaxing country setting. Susan and Paul, who are wonderful hosts, have given much time, thought and love in getting this house just so. It feels like home. Though the house is only one bedroom (on 2 floors) the rooms are spacious, inviting and beautifully decorated. There two sitting areas outside where you can have your morning coffee or end of the day glass of wine and BBQ. A great 5 day vacation.

Amazing view from the porch peaceful setting. This was a unique place the bathroom was fabulous. We will probably never stay in a hotel after staying here. So roomy and clean love!!

What a lovely couple with a sweet place! We had a terrific time. I only wish we had time to have used the jacuzzi tub. Love the Island and the farms all around.

Chad and Nicki were very welcoming and easy going. it was easy to pick up the keys and we were given easy directions to follow. the cottage was very clean and comfortable. and the views were simply amazing. we loved spending time on the beach out front, going for walks and having fires after dinner made on the grill. we very much enjoyed our stay at the cottage and would totally recommend staying at Chad and Nickis to anyone who wants a beachside, quiet get away on PEI.

I cannot say enough about Chad and Nicki and the lovely cottage. It was clean and well equipped and even had some lovely PEI treats. They were the perfect hosts and I will be sure to stay at the cottages again.

This is one of a group of cottages owned by Chad and Nicki. You pick the key up from a nearby gas station (that they also own or run), together with excellent and clear directions to the cottages. They sit very close to a small cliff overlooking the beach, with a wooden staircase down to the beach. The cottage was immaculately clean, though the bathroom and kitchen looked a little tired, but we had everything we needed for our one night stay. We were especially impressed that Nicki took the trouble to come down to check personally that all was well.

Chad & Nicki's place was remarkably stunning. The view was amazing and the cottage was so nice we could have stayed forever. Excellent hosts and easy to communicate with.

This is the perfect place to get off the map and appreciate the environment around you! Chad and Nicki were amazing hosts and super accommodating. We loved it so much we stayed an extra night!!

Stairs up to the loft were the as close to a negative thing I could say! Everything was great. Would recommend

This place was as described. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom had hair dryer, towels, beach towels, shampoo, conditioner, .......was well equipped with toiletries one would need. Kitchen had everything we needed. We had a water view and could go to the beach whenever we wanted. Was great hearing the waves outside. We were able to use their chairs on the beach. We made a fire in the pit on our second night there, which had a nice enclosure. Carol and Curtis were very helpful with anything we needed. Carol left us some amazing muffins and bread she had made. The unit also had a bit of milk, jam, bread, butter and ground coffee for the coffee maker. I would recommend this property, and would also return.

Fine hospitality and a beach lovers paradise.

We spent a lovey evening at Carol's place in Albany. We enjoyed watching the sunset on the beach, the view was spectacular!! Carol and Curtis were very friendly, went above and beyond by leaving wonderful homemade goodies and looking into dinner suggestions for us. We had a comfortable stay and would definitely recommend their place. Thanks so much!

Carol's place was absolutely perfect for our quick one night visit and would have been great for a longer stay as well. The location is perfect on the private beach and only minutes away from Summerside. We were greeted when we arrived and shown around the property. The apartment is spacious and clean with a few snacks and coffee made available for breakfast. Highly recommend.

Our stay was wonderful. The house is beautiful and recently updated with a gorgeous view. You can see the sunset over the ocean from the living room recliner if you wanted to! The home was very clean and the host had fresh linens. Also, the host was helpful during our stay with offering us suggestions on places to visit that made our stay more enjoyable. If you stay here, make sure to check out the fish markets that are in walking distance! JMK Fish Mart knew me on a first name basis by the time we left LOL. You can get fresh fish, crab, lobster, muscles, clams and any other maritime seafood you may be craving. The house was central to most areas that we wanted to see and the neighbours are quiet and respectful. When we visit PEI again, I would love to stay at this house. You couldn't ask for a better host or location!

This Airbnb was excellent! We rented it for some out of town guests for our wedding. The place was lovely and clean and had all we needed. The location is also excellent, close to the beautiful Summerside waterfront, the downtown area, restaurants and cafes, etc. We also had one guest who left behind an important document and our host Linda was wonderful about getting it back to us safely. Wonderful property, great hospitality, and excellent value. Thank you Linda! We will certainly check back for future trips.

We loved staying at Donald and Kellie's cottage. It's an ideal location to relax beside the sea but also take in all that PEI has to offer. Thanks for tip to visit The Lobster Barn - a local restaurant. We loved it and recommend it for any guests that area fans of seafood!

This adorable cottage is everything you could need for an escape by the sea! Just a short drive from a beautiful red sand beach and short drive to great restaurants in Summerside. It's the perfect retreat for some time away. Amazing stars at night too!!

This beautiful home located "off the beaten path" was a PERFECT place to stay. Located in the idyllic countryside of Miscouche, P.E.I., it was a treat to wander around and use as a "home base". Good eateries nearby, and close to travel spots we were visiting. Host had lots of travel brochures so you can add to the P.E.I. experience. Rooms and bathrooms were sparkling clean. We had the entire wing of the house to ourselves. The setting is right out of a Victorian novel. Really a lovely property. Excellent experience. Highly recommend it.

Anita’s home is an excellent start if you are beginning your tour of the north cape. The entire house is sparkling clean, the room was very comfy and Anita was so warm and welcoming.

We had a great experience at Mel's Abode. Home is spotless with all the amenities you might need and the location is easily accessible and quiet. Mel is an amazing host, welcoming us in person when we arrived and was available at any time for questions. Mel gave us some great suggestions for restaurants and scenic drives which were spot-on. Everything was absolutely perfect - we truly felt like we were home away from home. We will definitely be back. Vivian and Cece

Mel’s place is very homey, nicely decorated and well appointed. Mel was super helpful during our stay and went above and beyond. He gave us great tips on what to do/where to eat. I went for a 7 mile run along water (absolutely beautiful) but it ends with a severe rainstorm. I called my father to pick me up and I guess he was anxious about finding me and Mel accompanied him to where I was! We had an excellent time and the little interaction we had with Mel- he is clearly very personable and generous. Great experience!!

Mel's Abode is a very comfortable place to make your next stay in PEI. I travelled with my husband and kids (aged 4 and 2) and we found the house to be warm, inviting, and clean. Full kitchen allows you to make home cooked meals, and there's a BBQ in the backyard (propane tank is full). Everything you need, extra towels, sheets, are available and ready for your use. We really enjoyed it. Mel dropped by a couple of days in to see how we were doing, and we appreciate it. The washer and dryer is wonderful, especially when you have kids and need to do some laundry. I completely recommend it, and we would stay here again.

We really enjoyed staying at Mel's abode! His home is very comfortable and clean. It really is like home away from home! Plenty of space for a family of 5 adults with lots room to spare. Mel has thought of everything you could possibly need while staying on the island. Next time we are in town we plan to stay at Mel's abode again! We would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. Wonderful stay at Fernwood.! The house and property are beautiful, there is an elevator lift for those unable to manage the stairs. Rachel thought of every detail and provided soap, shampoo, lots of clean towels etc. She was quick with a response when I had a question. Perfect view of the Confederation bridge, short drive to public beach and other amenities. Definitely recommend this property during your visit to PEI!

Great view, big spacious house, centrally located in PEI to have an easy access to any activity. The house was clean, safe and Rachel was available for any questions we had. Great hospitality, way more then we ever got in other rentals. Great job Rachel!!

Our hosts, Mary and Andre, made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The entire cottage was spotlessly clean. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom well appointed. The small kitchen provided most of the equipment that we required for preparing simple meals. The cottage is located close to a provincial park with a beach and is within easy driving distance to Summerside. Although this location is quite rural, we found it very easy to launch full day trips to all parts of the Island. Our hosts provided maps and helpful suggestions regarding places to visit and which restaurants to patronize. They were very knowledgeable about the Island's flora and fauna, which aided in our bird watching outings. The breakfast included the best breakfast sandwich this side of the Rockies! Although we are unlikely to return to Prince Edward Island in the near future, we would definitely stay here again if the occasion arose.

Adorable cottage, sweetly decorated with quirky furniture and vintage appliances. Very close to an amazing beach. We also visited Cavendish during our stay and preferred the beach that was a 2 minute drive, or a 27 minute walk, from the house. The hosts were lovely, had great recommendations and were awesome with our kids. Mary's breakfast was a hit with the whole family and our only regret was that we didn't get to buy ice cream from her shop. We would love to return!

Mary's place was perfect! I was welcomed immediately upon arrival. The cottage is very charming and comfortable with everything you need. Although I didn't see much of Mary and Andre during my stay, they are both very lovely and helpful. I'd highly recommend this accommodation and would love to return in the summer!

Minutes to Chelton beach, this is a lovely place to stay. The hosts are friendly and helpful and the rooms are sweet to come home to for resting in between your pei adventures!

If you are looking for a place to stay with a host who will bend over to ensure your stay is special this is the place. The location seems out of the way until you understand that there is nothing on the island that is not more than 30 minutes away. The location is awesome peaceful and full of love and caring. I can not say anything but great things. Super clean, decorated in a homey peaceful rustic style, great shower, nice bedroom extra pillows, no detail left unattended to. WOW. If you do not love this place you are nuts!!!

The space was lovely with a private deck which was wonderful. Breakfast was great. Mary and Andre filled the space with lots of unique and interesting touches. If you get a chance check out the amazing beach a short drive away, the red dirt and dunes were stunning. The ice cream stand was an additional treat. Wonderful people and wonderful AirB&B. Very good value.

Super cute, clean, homey, comfy place with a nice little private deck, and close to a nice swimming beach. Mary was a great host, and we felt very welcomed and relaxed for our stay.

Shirley’s home was immaculate, it had everything we needed and more. The gazebo was perfect for evening. We enjoyed walking down to the boardwalk in Summerside. Had a great time, it was everything we wanted.

We really enjoyed our stay at Shirley's place in Summerside -- it was exactly as described with a great layout for a family. The furniture and beds were super comfy, the home has a nice big, bright kitchen and the backyard is beautiful and a great place to enjoy a quiet summer evening. Shirley was always prompt in responding to any questions we had -- we would definitely stay here again. The location was perfect -- just a short walk to the lovely Summerside harbour!
