Just booked in Minneapolis
This third-floor studio apartment with a woodsy feel and loft has all the privacy you need for a Twin Cities get-away weekend. As it is only four blocks from the Blue Line Metro, it has all of the downtown/airport accessibility for business and easy transfers to the Green Line Metro that runs to St. Paul and the University of Minnesota. The studio has a bathroom and a kitchenette with a refrigerator, sink, microwave (no stove). The studio space has two queen beds in different nooks.
Our space has two queen beds, a full bath, and a common space with a couch, sitting area and wood-burning stove, table and chairs, and a kitchenette. For breakfast, the Pow-Wow Cafe is right around the corner and the fabulous Maria's Cafe is right down the street. The space also has a fridge, sink, microwave, Keurig, hot pot, and panini maker (note: there is no stove/oven). In the summer, our home has AC units in the windows and a ceiling fan overhead. In the winter, the unit has forced air and a wood-burning stove. We are glad to provide a heating blanket to those who would like one. We have free parking on the street, but no reserved parking spots on the property. For the comfort of our guests, the queen mattresses have a 100% hypoallergenic, waterproof mattress protector covers.
There is plenty to do in the Minneapolis metro area, and our place is just .75 miles from downtown, including the Viking's Stadium, Gold Medal Park, and the Guthrie Theatre. We are 1.2 miles from the Minneapolis Convention Center and favorites such as Global Market and the Midtown Greenway. Lake Calhoun, Lake of the Isles, Lake Harriet, and Minnehaha Falls are just five miles away to the southwest and southeast of us. If you are coming to the cities for a gastronomic adventure, Hell's Kitchen, Matt's Bar (for the Juicy Lucy burger) or Fogo de Chao for a fancy dinner are just a short drive away. A note about our urban, ethnic neighborhood: we do live in the city center which means that our neighborhood is busy and very varied: our home is near bus lines, public spaces like parks, coffee shops, non-profit offices, other large old Victorian homes, government buildings, apartment complexes, health clinics, and the many different types of people traveling through the neighborhood on a daily basis. Urban city life is densely populated, so you will want to exercise city-smarts and common sense when traveling out late at night from our place. If that makes you uncomfortable, you might prefer to stay in one of the quieter neighborhoods outside the city center like Nokomis or Eden Prairie, White Bear, St. Louis Park, Plymouth, or Longfellow. We, however, love the energy of the city of Minneapolis. One of our favorite pluses of living in Minneapolis's city center in the Ventura Village neighborhood is the fact that we enjoy a huge diversity of neighbors from all parts of the world and with it the customs, the dress, the food, and vivacity that they all bring to Minneapolis.
  • The place was gorgeous! My mother and I wanted to explore Minneapolis and this place was great. It was centrally located so we didn't have to drive far to get where we were going (which is awesome in a strange city). I meet Betsy and she was super helpful and didn't make me feel dumb when I couldn't figure out how to check my messages lol. They even had pamphlets from around the city to help with choosing attractions we might want to see. Zach was very quick in responding to any questions that I had and making sure we had the instructions we needed. Seriously though, I would not hesitate to come here again. It was a haven in the city and really clean and neat. Best first Air B&B experience I could've asked for!

  • I just loved Zach & Betsy's place. A dream of a property that belies the appearance of any neighbourhood. You can see that the intricate touches they have applied in converting this into a luxurious wooden apartment from a residential baseline unit. They were kind enough to allow me to check in and check out; outside the agreed booking slot, which was very much appreciated. Adored the rooftop terrace and the open plan lounge come bedroom. Way more space than a hotel room and lots of light and window openings to allow natural air to come in rather than those stuffy hotel AC units. A lot has been mentioned about the area but I found it very peaceful and very friendly. It's very quiet when you consider you are literally a few blocks away from downtown. More hip rather than run-down is how I would put it. A neighbourhood representing a kaleidoscope of colour that mirrors the social-mix melting pot I have back home in London. In fact, at Zach & Betsy’s place - I felt I was at home and that’s the greatest testament you can convey over someone else’s property. A truly exquisite apartment; well designed by a hard-working young couple with two adorable children. Hats off to you!

  • Zach and Betsy's private tree top apartments was absolutely beautiful and perfect for my stay in Minneapolis. The room was cozy and clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was extremely hot in Minneapolis however the room was kept cool and comfortable throughout my stay. There was ample street parking, and I was able to get a spot right in front of their house which was a huge plus. I would definitely stay with Zach and Betsy again!

    Shannon2016-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • This place is super cool. We are from the south so we were cold. The heat blows hot! They provided lots of bathroom supplies. Both beds are comfortable. Overall an awesome stay.

    Christopher2017-10-26T00:00:00Z
  • Zach and Betsy’s place was absolutely adorable! It was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. We took an Uber to the target center for a very low price. It was perfectly located in a quiet neighborhood while being close enough to the city.

    Leah2018-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • Zachary and Betsy are very helpful and accesible. The loft is very cool a little warm in the summer but they try to keep it cool with AC units. The neighborhood is a bit seedy and we were a little nervous when we first arrived but we figured if they feel comfortable raising a child there then it must not be so bad. I would just suggest not walking around at night, although we did walk home from downtown one night and nothing happened. Overall a good stay.

    Elizabeth2016-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • The studio is so perfect a place to stay. it has 2 beds, a nice bath and everything one would need- a kitchen, lots of space. Check-in etc is so perfectly described. No hassles. Great place, would recommend to anyone without hesitation.

DOWNTOWN, FREE PARKING, HOT TUB. We have reinvented the traditional Bed & Breakfast by catering to the needs of the modern traveler. The mansion provides luxury accommodations for all types of stays including business travel, romantic vacations, cross-country overnights, special occasions, and corporate retreats. The mansion is immaculately restored to preserve its architectural significance, along with modern amenities.
Hand carved Victorian bed that looks like a throne (no joke) in a wonderful mansion! The main mansion encompasses thousands of square feet of common area including a formal dining room, grand drawing room, and library, all of which we encourage our guests to enjoy. The estate also houses an original carriage house, porches around the house, and three unique gardens.
On the hill overlooking Loring Park in Downtown Minneapolis. The mansion is walking distance to everything downtown.
  • This place was everything we could of asked for and more. The home was just beautiful, it had a perfect location for getting around to sightsee. Sam and AJ were amazing hosts, and would recommend staying there for anyone staying in Minneapolis! Will definitely be coming back!

    Levi2016-12-02T00:00:00Z
  • Such a wonderful place to stay for business or pleasure! I arrived late (around 10pm) and Sam stayed up for me. There were snacks and bottled water in the room which was wonderful because I was hungry. I really appreciated the breakfast and especially the coffee. The house is absolutely beautiful and the owners encouraged me to explore. I was in town for a conference and walked to the conference location (walkable to both the Hyatt Regency and the Convention Center). There's a park nearby as well. The only thing that took a second to get used to was the noise the radiator made in my room. I've never had a radiator before and when it kicked on the first time I nearly fell out of my bed! But I'll take a noisy radiator for a beautiful house and wonderful hosts any day. If I'm ever in Minneapolis again I will absolutely be back!! Madonna (the great dane) and I were fast friends and I miss her already. Thank you!!

  • A great place to stay in a comfy neighborhood near downtown!

    Evan2017-06-02T00:00:00Z
  • I was very pleased with my stay in this beautiful mansion. Lovingly restored, the owners have done a fantastic job of reviving the space and giving you a glimpse into historic Minneapolis. In particular, I really appreciated all the historical photos and info throughout the house. The moment you arrive you feel right at home - from leaving your shoes at the door to the host carrying your bags up the stairs. It was fun speaking with the owners each morning, as they were quick to share information about the city and the house. Loring Park is a great neighborhood for someone traveling either for business or pleasure. The park itself is beautiful, and the downtown business district is minutes away. There are some great restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. I was in town for business, but would love to come back and stay in this space with my spouse!

  • The place was fantastic. Super cool place to live in if you are into vintage home decor. They even have complimentary breakfast in the mornings! My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will definitely come back here if we visit Minneapolis again.

  • The home is absolutely gorgeous and well preserved. I would stay here again and recommend to anyone. Meticulously clean and you can tell Sam cares sincerely about this place and his guests experience. What a fun experience to tour this home! We only stayed one night but wish we could have stayed longer.

Urban sanctuary micro apt. in historic home. Minutes from downtown and uptown, centrally located in the bustling neighborhood of Whittier. One block from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, Minneapolis Institute of Arts and the Children's Theatre Company. One block from 'Eat Street' - music venues, coffee shops, diverse restaurants.
This is a one room efficiency apt. on the first floor of a 135 year old triplex that's actively being restored. This is a small but very charming space, newly remodeled and efficiently designed. Create the mood you desire with a variety of recessed, dimmable lighting options. There is an abundance of storage with an oversized closet and a spacious multi-compartmented armoire. The apt. has space saving pocket doors, bamboo hardwood floors, a full kitchen with amenities, free washer and dryer, and a spacious bathroom with a claw foot tub and a skylight. Wifi and free off street parking available.
In all humility, this neighborhood is happenin. We are the heart of the city; authentic, truly diverse and rich with history. Located one block off of 'Eat Street', German, Greek, Jamaican, Malaysian, Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, Middle Eastern, coal fired pizza and an amazing organic market/deli are all within steps from your back gate or within a block or two. Relax with a great cup of coffee at the 'Spyhouse' at the end of the alley or enjoy a fantastic breakfast/lunch/dinner at the 'Copper Hen' right across the alley.
  • My cat Piggy and I had a lovely stay at Colin's quaint, cozy, and artsy micro apartment. Everything is well thought out for a small space to the point that it didn't feel cramped at all. The photos are very accurate, and Colin was extremely responsive, although I am sad to say our schedules didn't mesh and I never got to meet him in person. Parking was easy - there is a dedicated spot in the back - and the location was wonderful.

    Faith2016-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Loved the place. Everything is very cheap to use Uber from this location. The ice house was doing live music right across the street and was a pleasant treat after the concert we went to. Plenty of places to choose from for food in the area. Wish we could have stayed longer.

    Mark2017-03-23T00:00:00Z
  • Colin was an amazing host and the apartment was absolutely perfect. The location is incredible, situated in one of my favorite neighborhoods of Minneapolis. Within a three block walk of our digs we enjoyed the best variety of ethnic cuisine I've experienced in any city. The Minneapolis Institute of Art was a treasure that sits on the doorstep (well, one block away). Every detail to make the apartment feel like home was considered and provided. This has been one of my best experiences with airbnb rentals ever. Thanks, Colin.

  • We had a great stay at this little apartment! Cozy and well maintained, and lots of great food spots nearby. Two thumbs up!

    Allison2015-11-09T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect location and charming, clean home with everything you'll need to enjoy the city.

    Tara2018-07-12T00:00:00Z
  • I enjoyed my stay at Colin’s place! I was only there for one night, but it was the perfect cozy, central apartment. At first I had trouble figuring out where to park, but Colin responded right away with more directions. The apartment is stocked with everything you’d need, and I was able to relax with a cup of tea and night and make coffee and breakfast in the morning. The bed was comfortable - made for a peaceful sleep. It’s also very near one of my favorite coffee shops, Spyhouse, and the area is really cute with restaurants and such. As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe (there were three locks just to get in), and I would love to stay again!

    Natalie2018-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Colin's home is wonderfully renovated and conveniently located downstairs studio that is close to trendy bars, restaurants and shops. It's also a short drive from the airport and local hospitals for those coming in for interviews. The flat itself is clean, safe and nicely decorated with amenities including laundry and a full kitchen. I definitely enjoyed my stay and hope to visit again. Highly recommend!

Our unit is a beautiful 1st floor flat with hardwood floors, lovely original wood, and lots of space.
The first floor unit of our 1910 home is spacious and light filled. It boasts original wood floors, built in, pocket doors, and boxed ceiling in the dining room. Each bedroom has a comfy queen sized bed.
We are within less than a mile and within walking distance to downtown, US Bank Stadium, Abbott Northwestern Hospital, Children's Hospital, HCMC, and the Convention Center. We are just a couple miles from the center of the University of Minnesota, Uptown, Lake Calhoun, Lake Harriet, Lake of the Isles, and Lake Nokomis. We love good food, so we can also point you in the direction of local eating hot spots. We love our neighborhood. So much so, that we bought another home right across the street where we are raising our three daughters. We appreciate its diversity and vibrancy and how centrally located it is to the entire metro!! Because we are in the heart of the city, we get to experience people from broad cultural and economic backgrounds in a densely populated area. Our neighborhood, Ventura Village, is a part of the most diverse neighborhood in the entire country with over 100 languages spoken here! There are restaurants, healthcare buildings, old Victorian homes, apartment buildings, and non-profit organizations. We consider it a privilege to live here, but it being in the heart of the city is not for everyone. During your stay, you may encounter lingering people panhandling. If this makes you feel uncomfortable, we may not be the place for you. Obviously, you will want to exercise "street smarts" as you would in any major metropolitan area. If you are looking for a quieter stay in the Twin Cities, you may prefer looking outside of our neighborhood. But we hope you won't. :)

  • This was a pretty good spot. Room was very comfortable, common areas were great. Bathroom wasn't that good though - the flooring was coming up, the toilet was very small (I'm 6' 2"), the showerhead was very difficult (water going everywhere) and the faucet was small and inconvenient. I'm not that picky so I was FINE, but it didn't meet expectations. Otherwise they were very nice, it was very easy check-in, good location (I walked the 1+ mile downtown easily) and I was generally comfortable.

    Victor2017-03-31T00:00:00Z
  • Room was nice and host was great!

    Denver2017-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • The hosts very very friendly and helpful. We felt at home immediately. The arrangement was like college dorm life. The shared bath was a quirk but we all adapted quickly (3 rooms/1bath). I recommend this area for a true ethnic experience! Diversity abound!

    Sheena2016-06-24T00:00:00Z
  • Great communication, very easy, well organized check in. Would stay again!

    Britta2017-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • This was an excellent stay, very comfy space and bed. Josh was a gracious host, coming out to greet me when I arrived and giving me the lay of the land. This room is right by the kitchen and bathroom, which is convenient (though it does mean you hear occasional foot traffic from other visitors if they're around). Cool neighborhood with some tasty Somali and Colombian restaurants nearby, and the bus is down the block.

    Jay2016-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic host and they keep the house clean which is greatly appreciated. It's close to public transit so if you buy Metro T pass, you should be able to get around Minneapolis for the most part!

    Jonathan2017-07-12T00:00:00Z
  • The bedroom is located in a 3-bedroom apartment on the first floor of a house. I did not get to meet Amy and Josh -- they were away for the Christmas holidays -- but I felt very comfortable and the whole place appeared very well kept.

Andrew H. Adams home: Built in 1891 by a master builder named T.P Healy. This beautiful Queen Ann victorian home is loaded with all the beauty and character you would expect from a master builder, as well as a completely updated kitchen and bath.
  • Keypad entry; room picture is totally accurate. Nice old style fixtures in the bathroom. Comfortable bed and AC also...you won't regret staying here!

    Peter2017-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • Douglas was an awesome host! The blue room (and the entire house) looks *exactly* as gorgeous as the photos. Super clean, super comfortable, and really conveniently located next to several bus lines. Hassle free entry/lock system too - which was great for me, because my flight got into town really late. If I'm ever in Minneapolis again, I will definitely be back at the blue room! Thanks so much Douglas!!

    Amanda2016-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • A good place to stay for a quick trip to the cities. I'd recommend having a car. I got around on foot (so it's doable!), but it was a bit of a haul and the weather then dictated my schedule. The house is beautiful!

    Joanna2017-05-18T00:00:00Z
  • Doug's home is a beautiful turn of the century house that he is remodeling. The bathroom and kitchen are particularly elegant and I my room was comfortable and quiet. Doug was particularly gracious when I realized I had booked one night less than I needed and helped me find a great new location for my last night in Minneapolis. It was my problem and my mistake, but he solved it in a lovely way. I only wish I had had time for a tour of the house to hear about its history.

    Bette2016-07-19T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful home. Easy to get to, convenient parking, comfortable stay. I highly recommend Douglas's place.

    Kristi2017-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • Great value! Floors were a little creaky which made me self conscious about disturbing others and I wish the bedroom door had a lock on the inside but overall great place to stay, especially for the value!

  • Once you walk a few blocks north of the location, you start seeing some of the city’s more notable attractions outside of downtown. Don’t expect light rail/bus service to be super reliable however

This historic South Minneapolis home was built in 1910 just before the Craftsman boom of the 20s. Original maple floors, mahogany staircase winding to the 2nd floor bedrooms and bath, cozy mint sun porch, and sprawling deck and backyard.
No pets have lived in this house but some pets are welcome!
  • Pretty much as described

  • We stayed for a week in January and everything was great. Plenty of space -- and nice and warm throughout the house. The neighborhood was quiet (even saw a rabbit in the yard which the kids loved) and the location was convenient for us as we spent time on the north side of town and towards the airport. We mentioned we had 2 kids staying with us and Al was kind enough to arrange for an extra bed to be added to the 2nd bedroom -- it was unexpected (we didn't request it) and was a huge blessing to us. A+ property and owner.

  • I booked Al's place for my husband + teenaged daughter so they could stay near to her soon-to-be-college. They LOVED it! Arrived after midnight but still texted me as soon as they settled in to say it was perfect. Just as pictured, great locale, charming (I mean that in a complimentary, not euphemistic way!), and incredible value. The yoghurt in the fridge was a welcome gift in the morning.

A queen pillow top bed sleeps two in your private room on the main floor of my home. Just four blocks to Victory Memorial Parkway, which links to the Grand Rounds bike/walk paths circling Mpls. It's a 10 minute drive to downtown Mpls, and easily accessible by multiple highways. I love that my neighborhood is diverse, centrally located, and home to many historic, well-maintained homes.
My home is a cozy and welcoming place for you to rest and recharge during your time in Minneapolis! You'll have your own room on the main floor, and use of the main floor bathroom, which will be shared with other Airbnb guests. The bedroom has a queen bed, nightstand, and closet. The bright bathroom has a shower and jetted tub.
I'm in the urban Cleveland neighborhood of NW Minneapolis. My block is comprised of single-family homes (one duplex on the corner), mostly homeowners and a couple of rentals. My neighborhood is diverse and safe--it will not look like a suburban neighborhood. You'll often hear the neighborhood kids playing on weekends and evenings in warmer months. My home is four blocks to the beautiful Victory Memorial Parkway, part of the Grand Rounds bike/walking paths that travel throughout Minneapolis, and which are unique in every season. I'm less than a mile from North Memorial Hospital (I do hear sirens and helicopters when enjoying my patio), and just a 10 minute drive from downtown Minneapolis. It's also easy to access multiple highways to get around the Twin Cities area. The neighborhood is very residential--I can't boast of a coffee shop on the corner :) The closest businesses are a few blocks away, and include the awesome Lowry Cafe, family-run North End Hardware, and a Subway, Family Dollar, and ALDI, as well as a post office. Minneapolis bus service is very reliable, but my home is probably a better fit if you will have a car while in town.
  • We had a great time staying at Elise's place. Clean and cozy room, comfortable bed, all was great. We strugled a bit to get in house, but Elise sent us detailed instructions, so we coped with the lock :) I would definitely recommend this place if you visit Minneapolis.

The Seward Neighborhood is in South Minneapolis; this home, 3205 E 25th St, is in the center of the Seward, 5 blocks East of the Mississippi and 1.5 miles from the U of Minnesota & Augsburg College. What's great about living in the Seward is the Walker, Guthrie, US Bank Stadium, Target Field, Yoga and Meditation centers, Riverview Theatre (3 dollar films), YWCA and the Minneapolis Lake system are all within three miles! For neighborhood relaxing, there is a beautiful tree lined walkway along the banks of the River and native plant gardens throughout the neighborhood. Another five blocks north will take you to the local neighborhood organic grocery store: the Seward; we also have 2 main Farmers Markets: the MidTown Market, and the Minneapolis Farmers Market. if you prefer shopping at Cub or Target, they are five blocks south. If you like St. Paul, that is also only a 15 to 20 minute drive.
  • Extremely nice host and the place was spacious and private. Will definitely book again.

  • Julia was a great host and her place was just right for our weekend stay in Minneapolis!

    Bethany2018-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • This is a finished basement and it has its share of oddies, such as the distance between the toilet and sink, but for an overnight, it worked perfectly. I was actually quite impressed with the ingenuity of Julia's setup. It was both stylish and cute. The place is sparkling clean and welcoming. Julia was a sweet and helpful host. This place is an excellent value and I would stay there again.

    Amanda2018-04-21T00:00:00Z
  • Julia’s place was spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect for getting around the city. A bike share is just down the street. Don’t forget to pack your helmet. Check out the local eateries, too.

  • Convenient to downtown and a lot more spacious than I had anticipated; thanks a ton!

    Raymond2018-04-08T00:00:00Z
  • This is a comfortable and roomy full-floor apartment, with breakfast nook and kitchen facilities, a large bedroom / living room , and separate entrance. The back yard is fenced and private, a very good place for getting some work done after hours, if you are here for business. The home is located near cafes, and a very nice park with walking trails. I highly recommend this place!

  • I have nothing negative to say about this place. The hosts were extremely accommodating and easy to communicate with. They were also welcoming and made us feel at home. The place was comfortable and clean. They had lots of thoughtful touches in terms of amenities. Location was great. I would recommend without hesitation.

    Danielle2017-11-02T00:00:00Z
  • Easy to get to from the MSP airport. Did not require uber/lyft for my any of needs in the downtown area! Quick response time to emails was wonderful. Definitely recommend for the feeling of safety and warmth of the hosts and their home.

  • I am a traveling artist and stayed two nights during my show. I met Shannon she was very nice and helpful. Gave me some suggestions of places to eat near by. The room was clean and comfy.

Set back from the street on an oversized lot, this bright, cozy, and private South Minneapolis home has two bedrooms, a large, four-season sleeping-porch , a huge front yard and offstreet parking for two vehicles, ALL ON ONE LEVEL!!! Good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), big groups, and furry friends (pets).
Little House. Big Bang. And not a single stair anywhere... With decor that is light and eclectic, and colors inspired by the city of Mérida, in Mexico's Yucatán Peninsula, this unique home combines local with international, and offers the versatility to suit a wide range of travelers. Whether you are in search of a romantic hideaway in the city, a place close to home (but not too close) to host your visiting in-laws, or just a clean, serene, but not too pricey crash pad for your crew to catch some winks after the big game, this magical structure bends to your will. The bedrooms: A comfy queen bed and night stands in the main bedroom, a full and twin bunk combination in the second bedroom just across the hall. The sunporch: As large as the living room and bathed in constant light, the porch can be closed off for privacy behind curtained French doors. A sleeper sofa and a twin trundle bed (2 twin beds) at opposite ends of the room create intimate seating for reading or chatting and extra beds for larger parties. The living room: Open and airy with plenty of seating and cable tv. El corazón de la casa. The heart of the house. The dining room: Mérida blue with cut outs into the kitchen and living room to let the light and the conversation flow. The kitchen: calabaza and white and fully equipped. Casserole or quesadillas. The world is yours. The bathroom: First World. A mix of vintage and modern. Impeccably clean. Your fantastic voyage begins here: Minnesota meet the world!
  • It was close to where I needed, quiet and easy to find parking. Will definitely use again!

    Mary Beth2018-05-05T00:00:00Z
  • This was one of the cleanest Airbnb’s we have ever stayed in! And it had plenty of everything from toilet paper to nice white plush towels to Dove body wash in the shower. There was even a box of tissue. Shower pressure was excellent. The location is great as it’s close to St. Paul, downtown Minneapolis and even Mall of America. There is a Target conveniently close by if you forget anything or need groceries. The kids loved sleeping in the bunk bed. The Queen bed wasn’t the best mattress we have slept on but definitely not the worst. It is an old house that has been nicely decorated and painted. The 3 parking spots in back are for smaller sized cars but there is street parking. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. The only bummer was the dishwasher was not working. We would definitely stay here again!

    Andrea2017-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • Al and Avra were extremely accommodating from the very start! They were in constant communication - they didn't leave us waiting to hear back on any inquiry and any concern was handled very professionally and promptly. We will definitely be back and look forward to renting from them again! Thank you for lending your home :)

    Joanna2018-03-25T00:00:00Z
  • It's a beautiful place to stay, we enjoyed our time there, every time again.

  • Very comfortable. Quiet location. Easy access.

    Erik2017-05-15T00:00:00Z
  • I couldn't have been happier! We needed somewhere to stay locally during a last-minute construction fiasco and for the value it was perfect. The neighborhood was super quiet, walkable to plenty of great restaurants, and super close to the train station had we had a desire to go anywhere. I was a little nervous booking because of how cheap it was, but my fears were totally unfounded. It's a comfortable, spacious, clean and fun South Minneapolis house that I'd be happy to recommend.

    Bonnie2017-05-09T00:00:00Z
  • The location was perfect! The home was very cozy and we felt at home right away. We enjoyed many walks in the neighborhood and felt safe.

Beautiful, sunny second level of a historic corner store house in the heart of the NE Minneapolis Arts District. Walk to the best cafes, taprooms and restaurants in town, enjoy a full kitchen and comfortable bed, and have locally roasted coffee on the private deck. Near downtown. Private, secure, quiet, great for families or business travelers! Come enjoy everything this great neighborhood has to offer. Check out the 1st floor apartment here: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/16704400?preview
Welcome to Northeast Minneapolis! You'll be staying in your own private apartment -- the entire second level of what used to be a corner grocery store. Built in 1902, the space is unique, comfortable, and filled with thoughtful touches, yet retains its historic and charming character. Located near downtown, the U of M, and the Mississippi river. Enjoy the spacious, open layout, take advantage of the beautiful private backyard, and explore the neighborhood! Upon arrival, you can let yourself in with the keypad lock -- we'll provide the code when you book. Head up the stairs, and you'll be right inside the open and light-filled living room, where there's a large sofa, chaise lounge, and our handmade coffee/end tables. In the adjoining den, there is a desk, a sofa, and a flat screen TV with cable, Netflix, and Amazon Prime. The bedroom is small but cozy, with plenty of room to hang up your clothes, and a super comfortable queen-sized memory-foam mattress with lots of pillows and a down comforter. There are bedside tables with lamps and outlets for your phones. In the mornings, brew some locally roasted coffee beans or tea (we provide both) in the sunny kitchen, which has everything you need to cook up a storm -- convection oven and gas range, large fridge, pots/pans/utensils/dishes, dishwasher, electric kettle, toaster, plenty of counter space, good knives, and a concrete rolling island. Have breakfast outside on the deck among the treetops overlooking the large, wildflower-filled private backyard, where, later in the day, you might decide to have a barbecue, or to sit around the fire pit on a starry night with a drink. The apartment will sleep five people, but is most comfortable with two or three. In addition to the main bed, we provide an 18" high, auto-inflate air mattress with its own linens and comforter, which is comfortable and sleeps two people. There is a very comfortable sofa, too. Your host, Pete, lives on the property, and is typically close by whenever you might need anything! I'm always happy to meet and spend time giving you a tour, or recommendations.
When you venture out, you will find yourself in the heart of the Northeast Arts District -- a safe, charming residential neighborhood that is within 1-2 miles of coffee shops, grocery stores, restaurants, and all manner of excellent restaurants, bars, and attractions, in addition to incredible local breweries, hundreds of artist studios, and more. Our street is a designated bikeway, among many others that cover the entire city. Minneapolis is one of the best biking cities in the country, and we provide maps and route advice to get you just about anywhere. We are close to the center of downtown, the famous chain of lakes, Target Field, US Bank Stadium, The Guthrie, and the riverfront. The largest art crawl/festival in the nation, Art-a-Whirl, takes place directly in our neighborhood every May.
  • Peter, thanks as usual. Your apt is best in Minneapolis. We loved our time there. Looking forward to came back again. Mattia&Carrie

  • Loved the apartment. Such a unique comfortable space in a great neighborhood.

    Steve2017-06-09T00:00:00Z
  • We only stayed a short time here (2 nights), but it was a great place to stay. The apartment was bright, spacious, clean and wonderfully decorated (sweet skeletal system feature over the toilet). The neighbourhood was quaint and in walking distance to some great restaurants. Pete was an awesome host and happily engaged me in my excessive questions about American politics, real estate and decor. Stop reading other listings and just book this one.

    John2016-04-15T00:00:00Z
  • Great space, nicely decorated, quiet, clean. Although we never met the hosts, they we super helpful and accessible if we needed anything. Great neighborhood, awesome local suggestions in the house guidebook and on the airbnb app. We'll definitely be back.

  • We had a wonderful stay at Peter's place in Minneapolis! The apartment is adorable and homey. We particularly liked its unique style and the neighborhood it's located in. Peter's Guidebook to the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District was full of helpful tips, especially for a group who had never been to the city before. Peter was kind and communicative. I'd definitely stay at the Corner Store again!

    Libby2017-10-29T00:00:00Z
  • This place is charming. The location is amazing. It is near cool dive bars and restaurants. The neighborhood is safe and quiet.

  • We stayed at Peter's apartment in a great neighbourhood of Minneapolis. The place is well equipped and is easy to get to downtown. Peter was really friendly and gave us great advice for places to eat. Recommended!

    Thomas2017-06-04T00:00:00Z
  • From the moment we stepped inside on a rainy summer night, we felt completely at home. Absolutely every amenity we could have wanted- and many we wouldn't have thought of- had been provided by our hosts. The apartment is fully kitted out for cooking a gourmet meal or enjoying a stay of any duration. The area was fantastic- lovely, interesting homes can be found walking all about and a huge variety of restaurants are all within a short drive. We fell in love with the place and will soon be back!

  • This was a very nice little place for a very affordable price. The owners were welcoming and friendly, and took time to prepare the house very nicely, providing coffee materials for breakfast, and having the apartment tidy and clean when we arrived. All in all, I enjoyed my stay.

  • This was my second Airbnb and Kira's place was beyond expectations! She had cute, helpful post-it notes around the rooms and it was very spacious and cozy. I wish we were staying in the city a little longer but it was great for the short time we were able to spend here. I would definitely keep Kira's place in mind next time we come back!

  • Wonderful, lovely stay at Jon and Bliss's retreat. I came in later and left early, and the basement room next to the laundry room was just perfect for a quiet space to unwind and prepare for my time in Minneapolis. Bliss and Jon offer a very clean, hospitable room. I appreciated the self-check in, access to the laundry room (and complimentary soap!), and lots of space. Yes, and the bonus offering of homemade products was wonderful, as well as local history of the historic home. Would definitely book again! Thank you!

  • Bliss has a great little room which is tastefully decorated. She supplied coffee and tea supplies, dishes and mugs, and has a microwave and fridge in the room. Nice size bathroom with tub and shower. Everything was clean. Location is so convenient. It is a quiet and nice neighborhood. Extremely safe and pretty.
  • Ruth was super easy going and helpful when I had questions. She even took care of my dog while I took a nap.

    Kylie2017-05-25T00:00:00Z
  • Check in was easy. Ruth went out of her way to get a certified letter at the post office for me. Bedding not washed after previous guest. It was loud in the evening with friends coming over. I was still able to get a lot of rest on my long journey. Thank you Ruth for making sure our dogs were separated.

    Elaine2017-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • Aside from a good price, I chose to stay at Ruth's home because of her description and reviews. Unfortunately, this information did not align with my experience at all. I experienced several issues with my stay. Accuracy: In her description, Ruth describes her home as "clean and crisp." The first thing i saw when I walked in the door was a sink and counter full of dirty dishes, and a stovetop crusted with food. Getting in in the evening, the first thing we wanted to do was make dinner. Given the state of the kitchen, this meant we had to clean the stove and some of Ruth's pots and pans in order to do so. Once dinner was made, we found there were no forks in the drawer, only in the dishwasher completely full of dirty dishes. So, alas, we had to wash more dishes in order to eat our dinner. Not the first thing you want to do after a 7+ hour drive. We had a similar experience in the morning. In addition to the state of the kitchen, the bathroom was also a gunky, and while we were making dinner, an unusual number of flies had collected in the kitchen. We spent much of the evening swatting at them with towels. Further inaccuracy-- -The bed was not a queen as listed, but a full-size futon -Amenities included wifi, but no information was provided how to access this -Amenities also includes linens and towels, etc., but there were no clean towels to be found. Luckily we had been traveling by car and had these, but wondered if this was available to guests if they didn't happen to have towels with them in their travels. Communication: Ruth was described as responsive and easy to communicate with. I sent Ruth three messages before hearing from her. Because we were driving 7+ hours to her home, it made me very anxious that we did not hear from her until we were half way through our drive. Once I did hear from Ruth, she offered l information about our arrival. That night: After we went to sleep i was awoke by the sound of Ruth and company coming home late. They entered the house talking loudly, slamming doors, and apparently killing a spider in the bathroom with a loud/heavy object. The lights in our room were off, we were quiet, and we were very clearly trying to sleep. The lack of awareness and respect for this was extremely frustrating. That morning: I didn't meet until Ruth until the morning as we were getting ready to leave. It was early, so when Ruth came out she was understandably tired, however, though it was our first meeting she did offer an introduction ("hello, my name is Ruth. I hope you had a good stay." something, anything), she just gave a groggy "good morning." As we were packing the car, getting ready to leave, Ruth and company were yelling at their dog to come inside. No...

    Caitlyn2017-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • Great communication! My mom arrived early and Ruth updates me when she arrives, etc. Recommended when you're on a budget. Her house is also conveniently located by grocery stores and restaurants.

  • Hi! My flight was delayed and reached airport around 1.30am and i was doubtful about the check-in as its way too late. She was so kind enough. I checked-in around 2.30am. She was able to communicate during the late hours. I highly recommend this place. Nice pets😁. Thank you so much Ruth.

  • Yvette and Rick have a lovely, large space for you to relax! Their home includes a comfy living room, dining room (with antiques), kitchen, bath, and two bedrooms. The bed on the second level was so cozy. I will return to work on my writing project because of their lovely space and the quiet. It is a gem close to some fun restaurants, coffee shops, and boutiques.

  • The house is in a wonderful, quiet neighborhood within in easy walking distance to great shops and restaurants. The photos and description are accurate; plus, we also had access to our own little backyard with a hammock! It was just what we were hoping for.

    Hannah2016-06-14T00:00:00Z
  • The location is great. Within walking distance of Grand Ave (on a nice day) and convenient to everywhere else. There is a Whole Foods and Target that are very close. The house itself is really spacious and very charming. There are plenty of closets, the bed is comfortable, and the kitchen has everything you'd need. There's also a gas stove which is nice (even though we didn't use it) and would be great for longer stays for making your meals. Yvette and Rick created a homey, comfortable place and are very responsive to questions and want to make sure you're settled in. Also, their check in process is the best I've experienced anywhere and is stress free and super easy.

  • This is a sweet vintage home, very comfortable in a nice neighborhood where you can walk to shops and cofffee houses. It has many nice touches and is very comfortable. It felt homey. It's very clean, you can control the heat, and other than the master bedroom being a bit cold ( but there are lots of blankets), there is nothing bad to say about this home. Will stay again since our dgtr lives in the area.

    Betsy2017-11-26T00:00:00Z
  • This cozy home was exactly as expected and just what we needed. The frigid temps didn't afford us the opportunity to walk many places, but many places are walkable with warmer weather. We did not have the opportunity to meet our hosts directly, but electronic communication was prompt and we were able to get the information for a great stay

    Peg2018-01-14T00:00:00Z
  • Listing's description was very accurate. The hosts Yvette and Rick were very accommodating and flexible. I would recommend their place to anyone.

    Zev2015-12-19T00:00:00Z
  • This home is very clean and cozy. Location was great for us. We walked to restaurants on Grand Ave and Snelling Ave. Summit Ave is close too. Quiet neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again. My bed was the firmer one on the top floor and was very comfy. My friend took the softer bed on the main floor.

Clean, large basement room with private shower (like a suite!) steps away from the U of M/Dinkytown 5 min by bus to downtown. Safe neighborhood with good restaurants, bars, and coffee shops close. 10 min walk to Saint Anthony Falls/Mississippi River
This is a basement room in a lovely, cosy house in a great, safe and central location. It is in the basement and has it's own shower and bathroom so will be like your own little studio seperate from the rest the house. There is huge, comfy Ikea bed in this room that is large enough for 2. Located right in Dinkytown close to Downtown and the U of M. FREE WI FI. Plenty of space. Clean bathroom and kitchen can be used at your disposal. The beautiful Stone Arch Bridge is a 10 minute walk away. you can get a Nice Ride bike and go on a very scenic bike ride with many bike paths in the area. For the size of the room, house and location you will not find a better price in Minneapolis. I will provide fresh bed linens, towels, shampoo, soap, etc. There is free coffee/tea/toast etc in the kitchen. Help yourself!
Safe, urban and vibrant neighborhood in the heart of the city. Great for foodies, plenty of amazing places to eat and supermarkets close by. and downtown and the lightrail (to get to the airport and Mall of America) is less than a 10 min bus ride away.
  • My host Sunit was perfect! Great communication, friendly but not intrusive and had everything ready for me that I could possibly want on my arrival (wifi-password, keys, towel, chocolate, and water). Overall a very nice experience for my first time using Airbnb.

    Cosme2015-04-12T00:00:00Z
  • Sunit's room in the basement is as described: spacious, private and comfortable. It has its own bathroom which is a plus, not shared with anyone else. The house is very well located for someone that is visiting the university, like myself, with transportation very close and nice cafés and restaurants around. Good value place!

    Ignacio2017-06-09T00:00:00Z
  • Super-easy. Didn't meet Sunit but he communicated well and coordinated my stay seamlessly. Easy!

    Joe2016-12-05T00:00:00Z
  • I recieved a warm welcome from Sunit who was very nice and correct. Everything was according to the description and the room was nice and big with a bathroom included. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood.

    Sean2016-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • Host was a very chill guy, very easy to get along with, and made the entire process very smooth. Thanks for a great stay!

    William2016-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • Nice place to stay near to the University. I was able to walk everywhere I needed to be easily. Sunit is an accommodating host, and allowed me to leave my bags there for the day. Room was as described.

    Jordan2015-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • Easy and smooth check-in to a comfortable place which we came to love as a home. My husband and I stayed for two weeks and it was a pleasant 20 mins walk to the university hospital. The home is equipped with almost all the basic neccessities. Had the pleasure of meeting some really wonderful guests during our stay which included visiting students, parents and some visiting professors at the university. Walking distance to the Dinkytown market and Target for groceries. Most of the bus stops are 1-2 blocks from the house. Would love to stay here again if we ever came back to Minneapolis.

This 1929 Craftsman bungalow Duplex sits just blocks from the Mississippi River in Minneapolis' pristine Longfellow neighborhood. At 2000 ft.² this house packs a big punch with 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths and an upstairs den.
In 1855 Henry Wadsworth Longfellow published his epic poem "The song of Hiawatha" about the Native American hero who unified the Iroquois Tribes and fell in love with the beautiful Minnehaha. Many of the bodies of water, landmarks and thoroughfares in our quiet, pristine neighborhood along the banks of the Mississippi River bear the names of Longfellow's heroes, and the neighborhood itself is named after that great Romantic, the preeminent American writer of his time. The house: a sprawling 1929 double Bungalow Duplex has three bedrooms, two full baths, and a separate upstairs den. The Interior design of the house has an eclectic, multicultural theme, featuring many unique pieces brought back from mine and my family's travels in South America, Europe, and North Africa, as well as a Native American tapestry and other art. All of the amenities are present: air-conditioning cable/Wi-Fi and a fully stocked kitchen. This property is comfortable, unique and family- friendly with indoor and outdoor spaces that make sense for long and short term living in all four seasons.
Minneapolis' pristine Longfellow neighborhood, coveted for its access to the Mississippi river trails and its proximity to St. Paul offers tree-lined streets, beautifully maintained homes, and easy access to shops, restaurants, and supermarkets. Convenience and comfort define your stay in Longfellow.
  • Al's place was perfect! Everything was super clean and well appointed. We only stayed one night and didn't spend much time in the house, but it would be great for a longer stay. The area is quiet and safe and close to everything we needed. Al was incredibly accommodating. We had asked for the possibility of an early check-in and even though the house was rented the night before, he was able to do what he could. He was responsive and helpful whenever we needed it as well! If we make it back to Minneapolis, we will definitely try to rent this house again! Thanks!

Come stay in our beautiful, newly remodeled private room. We are a musical, artistic couple who love to cook and hang with our tiny dog Petey. Our home is a 2-block walk to beautiful Lake Nokomis, and minutes from the beach. Also nearby are the famed bike trails of Minneapolis. We are a short 5 min drive to The Mall of America, IKEA and the airport. You’ll love our place because of the location, the coziness and the decor. Our home is great for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
You have access to a private upstairs bedroom with a TV. You have your own bathroom in the basement which is two floors below. Access to toilet, shower and bathroom amenities. You may also use our backyard and washer/dryer. If you would like to use the kitchen to prepare a meal please let us know.
5 minutes from the airport. Close to the Mall of America and IKEA. Blocks from Lake Nokomis and Hiawatha Lake. A short walk or bike ride to Minnehaha falls. Easy 10 min drive into Uptown.
  • Very cute house in south Minneapolis in a nice neighborhood. The hosts, Hannah and Josh, are very pleasant and easy going. The room is an upstairs attic room and was quiet and comfortable, but the bathroom is in the basement, two floors down. It is clean and functional when you get there, with a nice shower. Hannah allowed me to do some work on my car while I was there, which was not very convienant for them as I unknowingly blocked both their cars from exiting the garage for about 4 hours. They took it really well! The room had Apple TV, which included all the major internet channels like Hulu, Netflix etc. no standard networks like ABC though, so watching a sporting event was not an option. Overall a good experience.

  • Lovely home, great people, awesome dog. Ideal location, bargain price, would stay again. Highly recommended.

  • Hannah is a great host. She's so gentle. I had a great time

    Rafael2018-05-21T00:00:00Z
  • The house and hosts are wonderful. They have the most thorough guest book of any AirBnb I have visited, and have suggestions for practically every want or need. The location is great, near the airport but the aircraft noise is minimal inside, and they provide earplugs if you need them. 10/10, would stay again.

    Jack2017-07-02T00:00:00Z
  • Great space. Well-appointed, clean, nice hosts, quick access to major Hwy. Try, just TRY to find better!

    Corby2017-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • I enjoyed my stay at Hannah’s very much. It was a roomy place with very good furnishings, supplies, and a comfortable bed. I wanted a place with a TV during the Olympic Games. They only had Apple TV but I used my own subscription to watch. Many other places don’t have TV at all, so this was great.

    Joel2018-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Hannah, Josh and Petey are the ultimate hosts! They are friendly, gracious, but also respectful of your space. The bedroom was spacious, quiet and I had everything I needed. An exceptional value!

  • Janet's place is a warm and comfortable stay, walking distance to a few great restaurants and bars. She gave me and excellent coffee shop recommendation- Spyhouse, she even let me store my luggage after checkout while I waited for my afternoon flight!

    Kathryn2017-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Janet's was one of our best airbnb experiences. Great location, convenient check-in ,and comfortable/cozy accommodations. Highly recommend when visiting Minneapolis!

    Heidi2018-05-12T00:00:00Z
  • This is my second time booking with Janet. The place is super clean and all the instructions are provided before you arrive . The bed is really comfortable and great dinner spots are within walking distance. I will definitely be returning!

    Jillissa2018-03-31T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our visit to Janet's Brownstone. It was very comfortable and offered everything we needed in the neighborhood we wanted to be in. We thought the trip to bring back donuts to enjoy with a good cup of coffee was going to be the highlight until we happened upon the open ramen shop. Wished we could have stayed longer.

    Patty2016-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • I had a great stay at Janet's place for a couple of nights. Janet was easy to communicate with, and responded very quickly to my questions. Accommodations were great, and I appreciated the ample free parking in front of the apartment and the easy walk to the LynLake/Uptown districts. I would highly recommend staying here, and would definitely stay here again if I'm back in Minneapolis.

    Daniel2016-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • This listing was perfect! My brother and I visited Minneapolis for a night, and the room was excellent. Everything was as described. Janet was very helpful and the place was welcoming. It was a very convenient walk from places that were open late too, so going to grab food and drinks after a long day was easy and accessible.

Bryn Mawr is a distinctive neighborhood surrounded by the beautiful Minneapolis park system. Please visit the Bryn Mawr Neighborhood Association web site, (URL HIDDEN) for an overview and more pictures of the neighborhood.
  • Dennie and Kevin are super nice. They care about the guests when you see the house inside. When we checked in, we found a guest notebook written by previous guests about their experiences of stayed in this house. The house is full of memory. Everyone had great experiences. The view of the house is super nice too. Dennie and Kevin take care the garden and it is gorgeous. Certainly recommend this place!

    James2016-05-19T00:00:00Z
  • Both Dennie and Kevin were wonderful hosts, making us feel welcome and comfortable. Their home was spacious and beautiful, and the outdoor gardens and ponds were spectacular. The whole experience was relaxing, pleasant and very enjoyable. We hope to return next year and again enjoy their wonderful place.

    paul2015-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • This was my second time staying here - this spot can't be beat! Amazing "home away from home" with gracious hosts, Dennie & Kevin! They have mastered the "art of hosting"! SUPER clean, great furniture (& comfy beds!) & in lovely neighborhood!

    Abbey2014-05-10T00:00:00Z
  • My third time staying here and certainly not my last! Best place to stay if you're visiting the Twin Cities. Great location, beautiful home, and most importantly amazing hosts!

    Michael2015-05-22T00:00:00Z
  • I couldn't have asked for a better first Airbnb experience. Dennie and Kevin's place was extremely clean, spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed during our stay. The yard was stunning and provided a perfect retreat for when we needed a break from sightseeing. The neighborhood is filled with adorable homes and had couple restaurants and a decent corner store a couple blocks away. We really enjoyed strolling to the Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden from the rental, taking in the cute neighborhood. The friendliness of our hosts only made it all sweeter. Dennie and Kevin, and their place, are a gem.

    Sara2015-05-19T00:00:00Z
  • My brother and I had an amazing time at Kevin and Dennie's Airbnb. It was very nicely decorated (the pictures do a great job of showing what the space has to offer). The beds were super comfy, and the fireplace definitely added to the cozy factor. The kitchen was stocked with many staples for cooking, so if my brother and I had wanted to go that route instead of eating out (check out the Bachelor Farmer, Spoon & Stable, and Marvel Bar!), it's nice that we wouldn't have had to buy more than the protein/produce. We didn't have the chance to make use of the pool table, which is our only regret from the trip. That, and it was over too quickly.

    Kyle2018-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Dennie and Kevin have a beautiful place very close to downtown. The place is tastefully decorated, beds are comfortable and the neighbourhood is super cute. The kitchen is well equipped and we cooked all our meals there. The gas fireplace stopped working on evening and the hosts were very quick to address it and got it fixed the next morning! We would definitely stay here again!

    Jackie2017-03-04T00:00:00Z

We have a fireplace in the unit as you see in photos but it is not in working order and has been sealed.
This is very vibrant and fun part of town. Uptown is generally the place where all the locals in Minneapolis like to visit or live by. There are so many great restaurants, bars and lakes near by that make uptown such a great neighborhood. The best part is that you can walk everywhere! CHECK OUT my guidebook for all our recommendations of where to eat and visit when your in town! Here are a couple below. Lake Calhoun, Lake of the Isles & Lake Harriet These are the lakes that make Minneapolis and especially Uptown great. They are a short walk (3-5 min depending on the lake) from my location. They are all in a row, so you can walk around one after the other if you are so inclined. 2 of the 3 feature fun restaurants on the lake. Stella's Fish Cafe - Fun rooftop deck that will allow you to see the Minneapolis skyline. Mostly serving seafood. It's only a 2-3 min walk from my place. Most dishes are between $15-$30 Bar Louie - The closest restaurant to my place and is the newest spot in Uptown. Mostly American fare, but very good at the $10-$20 meal price. It's very trendy, hip and fun. They have a very large outdoor patio that makes it fun when the weather is nice. They also have plenty of outdoor heaters when its cold! This place is a great spot to grab drinks and watch a game and also to go out on the weekends! Very young at night and it's the place to go and be seen in Uptown. Chino Latino - GREAT place to go any celebrate any special occasion. Very unique interior and offers a very unique Asian Infused menu. Highly recommend. Meals are around $15-$25. If you are going for a birthday, call in advance and they will put the name of the birthday guest on the menu for you! Birch Steak House - If you are looking for a great 4-5 star restaurant, look no further than to the newest steak house in Minneapolis. This place is VERY popular, so make sure to make a reservation if you are planning on going. They have an awesome menu that would compete with any of the larger steakhouses. If steak isn't your thing, check out their basement where they serve Margarita Pizzas. It's also a great place to get a drink and check out the cool decor. Prices are around $20-$50 for Birch. It is about a 10 min walk from my place. Calhoun Square - If you are looking todo any shopping while in Minneapolis, this is a great spot to start. There are a fair amount of stores and within the block radius of this place there are NUMEROUS other ones including American Outfitters, Apple, Victoria Secret, American Apparel, REI, Heartbreakers, H&M to name a few. There are also tons of other small shops that are local to check out.
  • Luke and Katie’s place was perfect. All the amenities you need for a weekend get away and the hosts are extremely accommodating. Don’t look any further for your next place in uptown this is it!

    Keegan2018-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • Host and apartment was fantastic. Easy in, easy out with nothing in question. Location was right in the heart of uptown with easy street parking. Home was extremely clean and everything you may need for a stay.

    Seth2015-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • Great place, great location. Everything we needed and wanted in the neighbourhood.

    Sara2015-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • I could not have been happier with my stay at Luke & Katie's cozy home! Positioned right in the middle of Uptown, it is close to tons of restaurants, bars, and cute places to explore. The house was exactly how they described, huge bed, nice bathroom/shower, great couch to lounge on, and a large dining room table with tons of natural light to sit and do work at. I had a rental car and finding parking in the neighborhood was super easy, making it much easier to hop in and out of the house than a hotel. Would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting the area!

    Caroline2015-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • It was a pleasant stay. Hosts kept to themselves. I would come back.

    John2016-04-30T00:00:00Z
  • Luke & Katie are delightful hosts and their flat is adorable! While the upstairs tenant was noisier (and later at night) than our taste, we still enjoyed our short stay. Very close to all the excitement and outdoor activities that uptown has to offer. Street parking was not an issue, and very close to grocery stores, restaurants, and nightlife! Safe and friendly neighborhood!

    Kristen2018-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment was perfect for a few days' stay in the city. Centrally located, clean and stock full of amenities. Washer/dryer and king sized bed was a real plus!

    Jeff2015-12-13T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at Katie and Luke's apartment. Lots of space, well decorated and located on a quiet side street that's a short walk to the heart of Uptown and the lakes. Katie was very easy to communicate with. Highly recommend a stay here.

  • My mom and I had a lovely stay at Amanda's place, which was so cute, cozy and beautifully decorated! She was SUPER kind and communicative, and was around to answer any questions or concerns we had (including a really late-night one). She provided lots of recommendations for the area and for our future travels, and ensured the place was super clean and comfortable before we arrived (the bed was awesome). One thing to note: The area felt a little questionable at night... but we also arrived near midnight on a Saturday, which could have contributed to some of the noise/commotion going on around in the later hours. Either way, we had a great stay and would certainly stay with Amanda again in the future :)

    Christina2018-06-03T00:00:00Z

  • I really enjoyed my stay here, the cozy apartment, great tips on where to eat/drink, and very responsive to questions and comments made me feel very at home on my visit. The location is close to nearby attractions which are easily accessible by car, so driving around town is a breeze and parking is right in front. Will definitely be staying here again on future visits and would recommend to other travelers wanting a place that’s close to all attractions but is tucked away from all the commotion.

Inspired by John Bradstreet- please look him up! This arts & crafts style bedroom with private bath is one of a kind! The main mansion encompasses thousands of square feet of common area including a formal dining room, grand drawing room, and library, all of which we encourage our guests to enjoy. The estate also houses an original carriage house, porches around the house, and three unique gardens.
By far the best neighborhood in Minneapolis. Loring Park neighborhood. The center of the city. Walk everywhere.
  • Absolutely beautiful home, wonderful and gracious hosts, stunning neighbourhood, and excellent value.

  • This place is worth every penny. It is close and convenient to both uptown no downtown. AJ is incredibly friendly and helpful, and makes your stay just that much more amazing. The rooms are very comfortable and welcoming. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

  • The mansion and loring park neighborhood is beautiful! AJ our host was very informative telling us the history of the mansion and the arts district. I will definitely be staying at the mansion on my next trip to Minneapolis! Thank you for everything!

  • Doug was an awesome host. He is very personable and made check in and out very easy. The room was just as described and the bed while cozy for two, was extremely comfortable. There are other Air BnB-ers at the location and were nice and respectful of our space. Bathroom is fully stocked with amenities as well. Would stay again!

    Sarah2017-04-06T00:00:00Z
  • Doug was great! Very cool and laid-back. He was super helpful when I needed to extend my stay. The other residents of the house were very nice and welcoming as well. The place was perfect for me! Adequate space, access to necessities, and it had some really cool little touches. I felt very comfortable and secure there.

    Katie2016-04-16T00:00:00Z
  • Doug has gone above & beyond with making his home available to Airbnbers. I reserved the Blue Twin on short notice the morning of, and he was still able to quickly get me instructions for checking in. Everything in house is clearly labeled with directions, reminders of house rules, and recommendations for local hotspots. Common space is very cool, and the bed was comfy. Met Doug a few times there, chatted with him and a friend, also met friends who help him with upkeep. Everyone was very friendly. Had a great time!

    Yvonne2018-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I made the laat minute decision to look for a room during our trip - I have never used a shared room before and has my doubts but I could not have been more pleased. We arrived a tad earlier than I had told him so my husband and I made a trip to a Walmart that was fairly close and convient. When we arrived back to the house we had fresh towels, blankets, and a key to our room! Our experience was great and would forsure stay again!

    LaKeya2016-07-25T00:00:00Z
  • Very comfortable rooms and accommodating host!

    Chen2016-06-27T00:00:00Z
  • The house is pretty clean. This is a shared home with someone who lives in and a potential to rent two rooms. The couches are falling apart but otherwise it's a nice place and you can tell they care about the property. It was easy to get in and well thought out. Great price and friendly responsive guys. It's not the nicest neighborhood but I felt pretty safe. Wouldn't recommend walking anywhere but they do have room for parking. Overall is say Doug is one of the nicest air bnb hosts and would recommend his properties based on that.

    Desarae2016-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed here two nights in two different rooms. Great comfortable beds and I had fun interactions with the other guest staying there! Great time would stay again.

  • ABSOLUTELY AMAZING SPACE! We had such a relaxing time sitting in the cozy living room listening to music. Doug is a amazing host, he left us with clear instruction about how to work all the appliances. Thank you for everything Doug!

  • This is our second time staying here. We first encountered Doug's light for my birthday in April. Doug and Simone were such gracious hosts the first time, that we came back to celebrate our one year anniversary. Doug has stayed in touch with us and has been such an amazing presence. His home is absolutely breathtaking (the pictures don't even begin to touch the surface) and we enjoyed ourselves tremendously. Doug's home is in an ideal location. It's a walking distance from a lot of amazing eateries and whether you're renting a car or using uber, and/or biking, the twin cities have so much to offer. I implore you to explore the cities! His music selection is PHENOMENAL. The minute you play one of his CDs, you're taken away to an oasis of calm and serenity. His home has a nostalgic feeling - even if you've never been there before. It doesn't feel like a business transaction with Doug, it feels like you're staying at a cherished friend's home. If you have the pleasure of staying at his home for an extended time, make sure to check out his book collection! It's so diverse and exciting. And his photography is breathtaking. The overall aesthetic of his entire home will stay with you long after you've left. Doug's home has now officially become the only airbnb we stay at when we're in the area. It's literally our home away from home. We couldn't have asked for a better way to bring in one year together and we truly love Doug and his warm and inviting heart. I recommend booking in advance, Doug's home is a hot commodity and he tends to get booked up rather quickly. Thanks for an amazing week, Doug! Love and Light, Linea and Ronald

  • Doug was very polite and informative in our emails regarding my stay. His place was as described. We thoroughly enjoyed the feel of his home. It provided a great environment for my wife to write and my daughter to practice her saxophone. I would recommend Doug's home to anyone wanting a nice, quiet place to stay.

  • A beautiful, peaceful home. The neighborhood is wonderful and we enjoyed the restaurants and shops. Douglas is a great host and I look forward to another visit.

  • A real zen experience. Amazing stereo.

    David2018-05-06T00:00:00Z
  • We had an excellent experience at Doug's place. The unique space of his house was very comfortable and relaxing. Checking in was super easy and he had an extensive list of recommendations of things to do in the neighborhood. The location was ideal, just a few minutes walk away from some great breakfast spots, and centrally located enough to be able to access many parts of the city quickly. I will recommend staying at Doug's place to anyone traveling through The Cities in the future.

    Bill2015-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Doug's beautiful and unique home. Every aspect of the home is artistic, relaxing and well thought-out. The location is central to both Minneapolis and Saint Paul yet the gardens surrounding the home made it feel like a far-flung retreat. I highly recommend this place - as a Twin Cities native, I can reassure you this is a gem and the local AirBNB community is lucky to have it.

This is a private bedroom and bathroom on the main floor of our bungalow in a quiet neighborhood minutes from downtown Minneapolis. Located .75 miles from the light rail (with easy access to the airport, Mall of America, US Bank Stadium, HealthPartners, HCMC, downtown Minneapolis, and the Univ. of MN). 1 mile from walking/bike paths along the scenic Mississippi River, and several great restaurant options in the immediate area.
This is a private one bedroom and private one bathroom rental on the main floor of the house, with use of a shared living space (including TV with Netflix) and kitchen. The bedroom has a queen bed, desk, bookcase full of books and a closet with hangers. There is a bathtub/shower in the bathroom. The owners sleep upstairs. The space is comfortable and cozy, with many houseplants (and in the summer a huge garden outside), and home to two personable cats. Our cat Pepper particularly loves to meet and get to know guests.
Longfellow is a quiet and safe neighborhood in South Minneapolis. There is an ever-growing number of good restaurants in the area (Birchwood Cafe, Sonora, Hi-Lo Diner, Merlin's Rest Pub, Town Talk, Cafe Racer Kitchen, several coffee shops, etc.), and great bike trails that run throughout the city. The Mississippi River is less than a mile away and great for biking/running/walking/birding.
  • Annie and Scott were very welcoming. We were able to park right outside the house on the street. Easy coming and going to get anywhere in the metro area. Bed was comfy, and kitties were friendly. We didn't take advantage of cooking some eggs as it was a busy weekend for us, but Annie was sure to let us know we could, and there was also coffee. We slept so well; we'd definitely stay here again.

    KeriAnn2018-05-01T00:00:00Z
  • We were indeed fortunate to find this great place to stay! Annie & Scott were super friendly and we enjoyed talking with them very much. They also gave us our own "space" if we had chosen to take it. The fact that we had our own bathroom as well as food available for breakfast was a lovely bonus to our way of thinking! Their kitties, who only appeared when we asked to meet them, were super sweet! A truly great experience.

  • An amazing experience, with great hospitality. They have a very friendly cat, who doesn't come near you unless you want to. Clean space, showed me around the house even when I checked in at midnight - was very friendly, quick to respond. Overall gr8 experience.

Newly remodeled garden level apartment with private bath, kitchenette, living space, and bedroom; everything you see in pictures is all to yourself! House washer and dryer are on the same level and are available to you. Private entry in the back. Free parking on the street or the back with advance notice. Close to airport and walking distance to Lake Nokomis and n'hood restaurants and amenities. Nice ride is close by to enjoy biking in our bike friendly city. Walk or take bus to light rail.
The apartment includes 3 rooms all to yourself: - A bedroom with a queen bed, closet, and plenty of drawer space - A living area/kitchenette with couch/hangout place, tv and on the other side of this space is a kitchen area with refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, kitchen sink and eating area - A bathroom with shower All of this space is yours; it is not public space. There is also a public washer and dryer on the same level for your use. There is free parking in the alley or on the street. You can hangout in the front or backyard or walk to nearby restaurants or have a picnic at Lake Nokomis or Minnehaha Falls. I am about 1.5 miles from light rail which will take you to the airport or downtown Minneapolis or Mall of America. You can drive and then park and ride, bus, walk, or Lyft/Uber to a light rail station. Airport is about 5 miles away and downtown Minneapolis is about 9 miles away via car or 6.5 miles away via bike. Downtown St Paul is 12 miles by car or 9 miles by bike.
This is a modest and safe Minneapolis neighborhood with restaurants, grocery, library, and shops close by. In particular, the 34th and 50th corner has some fun things. There's a nice coffee shop on 28th and 50th and Lake Nokomis is very near this coffee shop.
  • Sweet little place. Close to the airport and central to everything we wanted to see. Mary was awesome with providing tips for things to see and do in the area. Overall a great place to spend my daughters birthday and if I was in the area I’d definitely choose Mary’s place again.

New 2017 built stand alone Tiny House perfect for travelers. Close to LRT. Family Friendly! New finishes include W/D, full kitchen, 3/4 bath w/large shower, A/C, fast WiFi internet, desk. Queen size bed and small pull out couch will accommodate three adults. Quiet south Minneapolis location with less than 10 min walk to light rail easily connected to downtown and the airport. High chair and pack and play available upon request.
Fully furnished 357 sqft house on a foundation. It has an open studio floor plan best suited for 1-2 travelers but can sleep a 3rd adult on a small pull out couch. Completely private, this house is referred to as an Accessory Dwelling Unit (aka Mother in law unit, or guest house) that I designed and built for myself and parents if needed the summer of 2017. It is not complete, there are some exterior artistic finishing details yet to do but it is very comfortable for you and all of my previous guests. Solidly built by my team, the exterior of the house is clad in steel, and is unlike any other single family home in this metro area. The porch area is private and a work in progress as artists and materials are presently coming together. Interior finishes include tile provided by one who has collected colorful tiles over the years and installed by her and myself with the mindset of color combinations and free fun patterns. Corrugated galvanized ceiling panels were installed for their look, ability to reflect interior lighting, and match the finish of exposed ventilation duct work and electric conduit. Combination washer and dryer is efficient, easy to use with instructions provided and laundry detergent is provided. Full kitchen is stocked with the basic tools needed to assemble and store a simple meal. Coffee maker, toaster, etc... the basics. Im open to suggestions for additional tools. 3/4 bath has a large shower with a built in seat for added comfort. Towels, wash cloths, toilet paper, hair dryer are provided. The house is connected to the internet. A smart television and a WIFI router are connected to that internet. In most cases, guests can connect their device with their own converter cord to the HDMI port on the television. You can log into your own Netflix, or Hulu from the menu on the tv and stream your own content. You can also surf the web with the remote. There is not cable tv in the house. I have two security cameras mounted on the exterior of the house. They are used for safety and security of my vehicle and mural only. There has not been a security or safety concern or incident on this property in the past though I would suggest as good practice to keep your belongings secure as you see fit. The mural on the exterior of the house was painted by a Minnesota artist whose tag is Deuce 7. He is recognized internationally, creates art I would create if my skills were more refined and having him do it for me and my house could simply be just good luck or the stars being aligned in some way or the other because the guy is constantly on the move. How fortunate I am to have his fine work displayed on my house.
This is an awesome location. Quiet, plenty of shopping, with several unique boutiques, vintage/antique shops, restaurants for dine in or delivery, parks and green space a short distance.

You’ll love my place because of the neighborhood. Just a couple of blocks from downtown Hopkins for shopping and restaurants. We are 10 miles west of Minneapolis. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).
This is a basement apartment, so you will hear some footsteps, and I have a small dog. I have really tried to think of everything you might need for your stay. The kitchen is small, but includes a microwave, gas oven, fridge, toaster, coffee maker, and a full supply of pots and pans, and a crock pot. There will be toast and cereal, coffee and tea for you to enjoy. The love seat pulls out into a bed for additional sleeping space. I think the space is a little crowded for three adults, but it is doable. There is prism TV with lots of channels, as well as a blue ray player and movies.
Hopkins has small town charm, but modern entertainment. The restaurant options are unique; we now have Japanese, Tibetan, Mexican, and Brazilian fare, as well as a pub, several traditional restaurants, and a brewery. There is a new comedy club in Hopkins, a cheap movie theatre, and the Hopkins Center for the Arts. Hopkins is also a hub for area bike trails. There is easy access to Minneapolis lakes via bike trails, and we are 15 minutes away by car.
  • I was able to check in easily, and the space was very cozy. The neighborhood felt safe and friendly. I was able to walk everywhere that I needed to go.

    Amy2018-05-02T00:00:00Z
  • Great place and host! Convenient location, close to the center of Hopkins, cozy inside and have a separate entrance. Didn't use much of the kitchen but looks like it is pretty loaded. Oh, it has the sauna! Definitely will consider next time when traveling to Hopkins again.

  • Great place to stay, especially for the price. Clean and very functional space, and we really appreciated having some breakfast available.

  • Beth was very accommodating and wonderful! She offered to open the reservation for extra days and was very thoughtful about communication regarding check-in. The place was clean and cozy and the sauna was a great perk!

  • Very cozy. Great internet speed (important for me bc I work online). Everything and more was available. Beth communicated with me throughout the stay as needed. I would definetly recommend her place.

  • Super friendly and attentive host. Great to park in a garage in the back lane way. There is a fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities right there. The bed is awesome. The Internet and tv work great. This basement apartment has a bit of a weird layout but once you get used to it , no problem. We stayed for a whole week.

    David2018-01-25T00:00:00Z
  • Nice and cozy accommodations, it didn't get above freezing during my entire stay ... I was warm and comfy ... didn't need for anything during my stay !!!

    Dave2017-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • Beth is an amazing hostess, nice basement apartment, all the amenities you need and then some. It was warm during my stay, so the cool and AC was great. The notes left around and extras left just made it so welcoming. Hopkins is a nice little town and appreciated the warm &friendly hospitality.

The 3rd floor of our home is a clean, quiet and charming unit. The home is over 100 years old, so you can expect some quirkiness that an old Victorian home offers. Our home is very centrally located and within walking distance to downtown Minneapolis. We are 8 blocks from the Convention Center & 0.7/mile from the lightrail. US Bank Stadium is less than a mile away, as well as Target Field, Uptown, downtown nightclubs, and the Mississippi River.
Each of our guest rooms is sun filled with a comfy queen size bed. In warmer summer months, we have a window AC unit available for use, as well as a fan. In winter months, extra blankets are available. Included in your stay is access to gigabit internet (50 times faster than most others).
  • Josh was super helpful and friendly. The space was impeccable. It was fun sharing the space with other travelers. The neighborhood is close to public transit and booming with life. After my bus was cancelled, Josh was excellent in responding and assisting me in my return back to his Airbnb space. He was understanding of my plight, and I was grateful for his help. I recommend his place. It's a worthy adventure.

  • After a long flight from Amsterdam we stayed at Amy and Josh 's place for one night. The house is in a quiet street so we slept very well (the nice room and great bed were very helpful too!). Josh is extremely helpful and welcoming. For breakfast he recommended us to try the corn pancakes at Maria's café. Delicious! If we would have had more time we would definetely have stayed longer.

  • Pretty nice sized bedrooms, and the rest of the apartment is in good standard. The only “negative” about the apartment is the stairs, especially if you have a lot of baggage with you. Have had a very good experience staying with Amy & Josh!

  • Economical great place close to downtown. Access to shared kitchen, bath, living space all on same floor. Two other guest bedrooms shared the top floor. Stairs to top floor. Comfortable bed and room with desk. Room has private lock. Nice heating. Great value! Lyft to Hyatt was only $4 and they always came within minutes. Nice to know hosts were across the street if I needed them though I didn't. Felt pretty great when everyone else at my convention was spending $150 and up a night and I had this great deal.

  • A very good location within walking distance from downtown. If you're on a last minute brief trip the instructions and accessibility into the dwelling were simple and well detailed in messages from Josh and Amy. Since it is on the top floor of this multi-level home it was very warm. However, there were fans so turn them on right away according to the weather. Overall, great place. Thanks Amy and Josh!

Bright & airy with the best views of downtown from both windows! The main mansion has thousands of square feet of common area including a formal dining room, grand drawing room, and library, all of which we encourage our guests to enjoy. The estate also houses an original carriage house, porches around the house, and three unique gardens.
Very safe neighborhood, walk everywhere downtown.
  • Beautiful building and room inside and out. Sam took great care to greet us and show us around. Convenient location and a very comfortable stay. I will book there again when I return to Minneapolis.

  • This place is a true gem. What a privilege it was to stay in a historic mansion. That alone, I would come back for. Sam, was a great host and even provides breakfast. The house is so beautiful and well maintained. I recommend stopping by this place if you're remotely close to the Twin Cities.

  • We had a very nice time and very much appreciated the amenities Sam's 300 Clifton offered. If you're not bothered by a communal bathroom this is a wonderful, comfortable place to stay. Lovely. Thanks, Sam!

  • This is a beautiful location in winter, and I’m sure it’s even lovelier in summer! There is so much to see, and it would be perfect for a relaxing weekend or for a quiet night after a day of exploring the Twin Cities. Sam is helpful and quick to respond, and everything- from our room to every other part of the house- was clean and welcoming.

  • Loved this place!! The mansion is gorgeous! And the neighborhood is awesome! Right in middle of the Loring Park neighborhood. Sam was such a great host. They had everything you needed (shampoo, iron, blow dryer). They even provided a continental breakfast in the morning which consisted of juice, coffee, bagels, muffins, and yogurt. Next time I'm in Minneapolis I will definitely stay here again. I've stayed in many Airbnbs and this is one of the best.

  • The place was beautiful.

  • Wow! Incredible place to stay and experience if you are into architecture, history, and luxury. I loved traveling back in time, and the simplicity of the rooms (no TV) really helped me fully relax. The gentleman who checked me in, was very nice - but seemed less than enthused to be there so I never felt like he was very approachable.

Urban sanctuary one bedroom apt. centrally located in the bustling neighborhood of Whittier... minutes from downtown and uptown. One block from the Minneapolis Institute of Art and the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. One block from 'Eat Street'... coffee shops, diverse restaurants and music venues.
This is a one bedroom apt. on the 1st floor of a 135 year old triplex in the heart of Minneapolis. Although technically, a one bedroom apt., the space functions more like a large open studio apt. because of its design. Unique hard wood floors, space saving pocket doors and dimmable recessed lighting throughout. Full kitchen with amenities, free washer and dryer, claw foot tub, plenty of closet space and built-in storage for clothes. Free wifi and off street parking.
In all humility...this neighborhood is ‘happenin’. We are the HEART of Minneapolis: authentic, truly diverse and rich with history. This Airbnb is located located a 1/2 block off of 'Eat Street'... German, Greek, Jamaican, Malaysian, Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, Middle Eastern, coal fired pizza and an amazing organic market/deli are all within steps from your back gate or within a block or two. Relax with a great cup of coffee at the 'Spyhouse' at the end of the alley or enjoy a fantastic breakfast/lunch/dinner at the 'Copper Hen' right across the alley.
  • Colin's place was comfortable, hip, and close to awesome food and drink. We had wonderful time!!

    Ellie2016-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • What a beautiful and spacious place, and the bed was so comfortable! We instantly felt at home and had everything we needed for our Minneapolis adventure. Colin's communication was prompt and clear. He even offered to give us tips about great eats in the area and his place is one block from Eat Street! Next time we go back to Minneapolis, we will plan to stay there again!

  • Great spot!

    Chris2016-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • Good instructions as to how to access various parts of the property. The unit is very tastefully decorated, in a great neighborhood with great access to the art museum as well as restaurants and coffee shops. Loved having the convenience of the washer and dryer.

    Katherine2016-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderfully decorated, easy check-in, walkable to dozens of great restaurants, all around great stay.

  • Colin's place is killer. The ad is completely accurate, and the bed is very comfy. Also, the hood is excellent for food. You should stay here!

  • Great location. Really couldn't ask for more. Wish we stayed longer. I did set off the smoke alarms when I was cooking and less than 2 minutes Colin was there to help. Much appreciated
